While browsing in the kids' section, I noticed a woman, who later identified herself as the manager, following me around the store. After I moved to the back, she sat down and continued watching me for about 10 minutes while I shopped. I eventually approached her and asked if she was following or watching me. She said no. I then asked if she was the manager, and she confirmed that she was. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and told me I didn't need to know. As a Black college graduate, an English teacher, and a mother of three, I found this experience extremely upsetting and disrespectful. I was treated as if I were doing something wrong when I was simply shopping for my family. No customer should feel singled out or profiled in this way. I completed my purchase and left, but the entire situation left a lasting negative impression. I hope this location takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated moving forward.

It seems small compared to other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. However they have a decent variety of things, women's coats and jackets, active wear, pants, tops/blouses, intimate apparel. The checkout process was fairly quick and when asked the cashier let me know what their return policy was. I had until January (it was earlier this week when I purchased my items, so early November), with the receipt, all tags, and the items obviously never worn. I'm not sure if this is their usual return window or a special one for the holidays but its more than enough time to return something if you need to and I did so this was helpful. When I returned my items a couple hours later, after finding something that better fit my needs, the return process was a breeze and they refunded my money back to my original form of payment.
