Ruined my dress and didn't want to take accountability. Worst customer service staff and manager.

I wish there were a zero rating. I've used this place for years with average results, not great but at least fair. In spite of this, I continued for the convenience. Decided to write after the last 3 trips which have gone from bad to worse. The smell of my laundry after this last trip was horrible. Never have I received cleaned clothes that smelled this bad. It was as if my clothes were washed in dirty water. My dry-cleaned suits were ruined with "crinkle" marks on the jackets from what appeared to be too high a temperature. If you care about your clothes, don't ever leave them here. read more

I brought an outfit into the cleaners a couple of months ago. I was saving the outfit for an event in the beginning of November so I kept it in the plastic on the hanger until the time of the even. I took the outfit out and the outfit was ruined. The parts of the outfit that had suede on it was all gone. I didn't even recognize it. I brought the outfit in and spoke with the young lady who handles register transactions. She said she would let the owner know and that he would call me. Days went by and I heard nothing. I stopped in to get an update. She told me that the owner offered me $30 for ruining my outfit. I said $30 for an outfit that was almost $400 and I only wore twice? The owner didn't respect me enough to call me either. I didn't expect to get the full amount of the outfit as if it was new but $30 for that was a complete insult. He did all the communicating through the employee. He didn't speak to me at all... she claims he was on vacation. I will not be using that cleaners again and I suggest no one else uses them if they want good and fair service. read more

This place is the absolute worst. Do not bring your clothes there. They lost my wife expensive dresses. And refuses to compensate us. The customer service is awful. They need to be closed down. Please do not bring your clothes there. They are absolutely awful. I wish I could give them a zero. They need to be out of business. read more

They ruined my white suit. The suit is badly stained from whatever chemical they used. The manager never returned my call. When I showed up back at the store to speak to the person at the front, they called the manager, who then accused me of putting the stains there myself. The manager offered me TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS to replace the entire suit. I filed a complaint with BBB. read more

This place goes not deserve a rating from me due the fact that they misplaced my Son's Military High School Clothes!!!! They have till the end of business day to find my child's clothes or I will make their life a living hell!!!! Signed, Pissed off Consumer and Parent! read more

Not even worth giving a STAR! Stopped here to have some pants altered because my usual cleaners was a little to far and I needed them done by the next day. The customer service was HORRIBLE!!! I went against my better judgement in thinking that everyone has a bad day from time to time and I left my pants anyway. I went back the next day to pick up my pants and the service was the same HORRIBLE! Looking over my pants and the seamstress did nothing! When asked to speak with the seamstress of course she was gone for the day. Needless to say I had to take my pants elsewhere! read more

As packed as this place always is, I'm shocked that there aren't other reviews! I guess most sensible people have the intelligence to avoid it. OK, I started using this place around 4 years ago; and they were about average. I mean the prices are very low (.99/shirt) with same service routine if you get your clothes in before 10AM. You can really get a lot of clothes done here for the price. Well, you get what you pay for! I pay LOTS of money for my clothes, and I was getting my dress shirts returned with ring around the color AND smelling of the same cologne I'd worn with the shirt. Additionally, I had to re-iron about 1/2 of all the shirts I'd get back. My slacks were being returned with "double creases." My final order with this place occurred when I noticed that someone else's shirt was in my clothes. It appears that the quality of their work has rapidly deteriorated over the past 6 months. They never were rude with me, but I overheard them being rude to several people who complained about the quality of their clothes. I just couldn't take it anymore and decided that my clothes were worth too much to risk by going back to this place. It's dirt cheap, but you truly probably get more dirt on your clothes after you take them there. read more

I like the fact you can deliver your clothes by 10 am and be out by 5p same day. They are also reasonable too with the pricing. The only cleaners I come to for my clothes. read more

If only I could give zero stars. Took in 4 pairs of pants to be hemmed on a Friday. Asked when they'd be ready, was told Monday. Called Monday to make sure it was ready, girl on the phone said it was ready. Got there, was told not ready, seamstress doesn't come in on the weekend or Mondays. Was told would be ready on Tuesday. I go Tuesday, not ready. Call on Wednesday. NOT READY. Finally pick up on Thursday. Try to wear pants in the coming days, all pants still too long. Take pants back a few weeks later on a Friday. I ask pointedly when they will be ready, was told they'd be ready on a Monday. I don't call before I go on Monday because I am pretty confident that they wouldn't do it again. Pants not ready. -_- I told them that I specifically asked about date of completion. I go back Tuesday, still not ready. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? They said there was no instructions in the computer for how much to take off. (I saw the girl write it down. Not sure what happened there.) I said, "You have my phone number; you could have called me." They said they will give me $10 credit. Am told that will be ready Wednesday. I come back Saturday, no one gives me store credit. Never, ever going back. Y si estan leyendo esto, espero que aprendan a mejorar su servicio por que es muy malo. Su servicio al cliente es HORIBLE. read more

Convenient location, the prices are reasonable and its always crowded. Unfortunately, the quality of business could be a lot better. They have damaged 3 different garments of mine on 3 different occasions. Water stain in the back of a brand new coat, ironed the decal on a $50 Tshirt which caused it to fade and strunk a shirt. Then there was the fact that my clothes didn't smell clean or appear to have been cleaned. If you value your clothes, then I would not recommend taking your clothes to Hi Tech. read more

The staff here is rude and the manager never returns calls regarding the service / complaints.

I have been using this place for several years. The price was the main driver behind continued use. However recently they damage several of my white items. I have attempted to resolve the issue with an unresponsive manager. This place isn't worth the money saved. Stay away. read more

First time here, experience was good. Only thing I do not like is that they charge less for men's dress shirts than women's dress shirts

Don't let the low price fool you. Service is bad from not being acknowledged when you come through the door. Being told your debit charge has to be more than $10 (this is illegal and against terms of contract with Bank). But wait there is more got pants dry cleaned and they are stained from chemical they used. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

This is the worst cleaners ever. Do not take your clothes there. I put in a white laced top that I bought from Bebe and it was returned with several blue dye spots all over it. They said they would clean it. Well as far as I am concerned it should have never made it to the hanger when you saw the blue dye spots but I guess Stevie Wonder must have placed the blouse on the hanger. They said they would clean the spots up. When I returned to get the white blouse it was completely yellow. Again as far as I can see, the now yellow shirt should not have made it to the hanger. I guess this time Ray Charles put this one on the hanger. The shirt was damaged! I was upset. They said per policy they can only reimburse you 10 times the cost to get it cleaned. So that would be $2.49 X 10 = 24.90. I'm like ok...you see my top is clearly damaged just give me the money. They said they couldn't give me the money in cash. Per policy, you can only get store credit. I wanted to go off like Madea on them! Store Credit! So my only option is to put more clothes in here for you to damage. So I put more clothes in there that I didn't give a hoot about like some coats and one coat came back with the zipper broke. So then I had to put that coat in for them to fix zipper. They put me off everyday until a week later until I finally got my coat back. I have personally seen people go off in there for damage done to their clothes. I saw a police officer clothes returned with wrong size police shirts, and one guy, omg, had the same blue dye that was all over my white shirt. But for him it was all over his new suit jacket that he paid $79 for, hadn't even worn yet. And whenever things go wrong they refer to you to a guy name Angel who is never on the property. They're not worth the dirty drawers of a homeless man to clean. Stop frequenting this business. This business needs to be shut down. Everyone should go get their clothes out of there until their stock runs empty and put them out of business. read more

I had been going the Hi Tech Cleaners on Marlboro Pike in District Heights. The prices are cheap and the cleaning quality is fair to poor. I had put up with poor cleaning results in part because of the cheap prices. However I will never go back to them again because a clerk in the store was extremely rude and condesending when I had to bring back a dress shirt twice to have a dirt stain removed. I pre spot my shirts and other garments before taking them in to these guys so I know what stains are on my clothes. I told him that this dirt stain was not on my shirt when I intitally brought it in and it looked like the shirt had got the stain in transport. This guy goes off on me telling me that the stain came from the person wearing the shirt and that person is me. He said he was pissed at me for even saying what I said. He than goes through my dirty garments pointing out dirt stains. I was totally shocked by this behavior. I had never in my 46 years of living been treated this way by a dry cleaning clerk. What really shocked me was that I was not yelling or angry but was very calm in my inital complaint. I doubt if this cleaners will stay in business with this kind of customer service no matter how cheap their prices are. The REASON why you bring your clothes to a cleaners is to have them cleaned!!!! WTF!!!!! read more
