I ordered 4 new tires that had to be ordered and delivered the following day. But wait there's more, I also had to go Philadelphia for a family members surgery and could not be back until the following week... they said no problem! They kept it on the lot for me. Brent even called me and asked if I wanted to save @$65 on my Bridgestone tires by opting out on the "Bridgestone" lettering not being white. I didn't even know that was a thing!! Then he explained that the best thing to do in addition was an alignment once the new tires were installed. Our Red Dodge Ram 1500 Lone Star is already blacked out so these tires went perfectly. We just ordered the same tires to replace our old ones with the white lettering. Genius and we saved money! Thanks to Brent! And a little secret, I had to have the team get out a space saver hanger out of my bumper!! It's the king that has two hanging hooks on both ends so that when it hangs down, it space saves. Well, I got one caught up in my tail gate after hauling stuff to my storage unit and because of the double hook detail it was stuck. So it wasn't able to pull up it up from the tailgate hinge, so I pushed it down thinking it would fall through! Wrong! Since I automatically panicked knowing it could possibly make a rattling noise if left in the tailgate which would drive us crazy... I was also thinking it could affect wiring or safety issues. Though I asked the team to try and remove it, I asked for them to keep on the DL and I would confess to my husband after the removal. Jesus teased me by pretending he was going to announce the task on the overhead speaker so the entire crew could hear it in the service bay and sales floor. I told him he was funny and that I was going to keep an eye on him from then on. The team did a great job with everything! And the carefully placed the rescued hanger on display on the passenger seat for me to appreciate. It literally was on my service ticket. The surgery also went smoothly! God is good! Now as my family member recovers, so will my truck be able to from the hanger removal. Thanks to the excellence of the Surgeon at University of Penn Medicine, the service team at Fred Frederick, and God's Hand on us this entire week!

Our issues began *days* after the 90 day warranty. To quote the dealerships reply: "You're problem. Not ours." We have cases open with the Attorney General's office, a complaint has been filed with the BBB, and we will continue to share our experience through every review we can find. The company charged me $89.95 diagnostic fee and advised me in writing that the problem was low on refrigerant due to the compressor leaking; needing replacement. Nothing was mentioned about any other repairs being needed. On June 10, 2022 I returned and authorized the repairs on my car and upon completion of the work, went home to find the repairs not fixing the problem. I subsequently called Performance back and told them that it is not fixed and arranged to come back on June 13th and waited approximately two hours for them to fix it. When I got the car back and drove home, it was evident that the unit was still not blowing cold air and called them back and brought my car back in on June 16th and again on June 30th. Spending all total about 8 hours of my time waiting for PROPER repairs to be made. Never being told what was wrong at any time no given a receipt for what repairs were made after the compressor work was done. Finally, I sent an email on July 2nd to them and followed up Tuesday July 5th with a phone call where I talked to the dispatcher and told her that I want my money back and I don't have confidence in the shop. Now they say because the car is old the system should be replaced but they can not state specifically what is wrong. When it was cooler out there was slight cool air at first. Now it is HOT air. Beware of this company as this is highly unethical and unprofessional and not the way customers should be treated. When you give an estimate to fix something, EVERYTHING should be in the estimate; not coming in after the fact and try to b.s. your way through a botched repair.

I don't like to pay for replacement parts from the dealer (which appears to be the rule in this area of Maryland) but in this case it worked to my benefit. As for inspections, I have heard the same story about just about every repair shop. While I appreciate the level of scrutiny, it appears like a one time chance to obtain a lot of work. Coming from a neighboring state , I was naive as far as the costs and the 30 day requirement for findings to be resolved. A lesson learned the hard way. I have found the Walt Eger team to be responsive to my needs and to provide timely informative updates.

But I finally decided to share my experience because I think it's important to warn future customers, especially those who don't have a lot of extra money to spare. The good: There's a shuttle service for customers, which is convenient. The driver was very cheerful and interested in having conversations with customers, which made the ride interesting. The staff members were polite, and the lobby has free coffee for customers. The terrible: I chose this place for my car inspection because of the positive ratings on Yelp and Google. But alas, the mechanic who inspected my car quoted me $1k+ for a part that was actually in perfect condition and failed my inspection. When I asked where the leak was, the rep said the part was shiny, and that indicated a leak. A few days later, a family member who is a mechanic inspected the part and confirmed that it was, in fact, in perfect condition. So he took my car back to this place for a re-inspection. When questioned, the reps couldn't point out a single leak on that part, and they passed him. Folks, please be careful, especially if you're a woman or someone who doesn't know much about cars. Based on my experience, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. My advice: Question every part they claim has failed, leaked, or broken. Heck, ask them to walk you over and show you exactly where the part has "failed." If you're familiar with car mechanics and have the tools, inspect your car thoroughly beforehand so you know the condition of your car before handing it over for an inspection. And if you don't know much about cars, bring a friend or family member who does. Having someone knowledgeable with you can help you ask questions and better understand what the mechanic is telling you. I'm honestly very disappointed with BA Auto. I went in expecting an honest inspection, and this experience left me questioning their integrity. I took it back to the shop and much to my surprise, they took care of it at no charge to me. They even changed my front turn signal bulb that had blown out a couple days before. Lo and behold it wasn't till I called that Subway told me they had decided not to do the work. What??!! It would've been nice if they had told me. Their reasons were valid reasons but still IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY HAD TOLD ME. In fact, when I asked if they could recommend anyone else the person said something like just go down the street I'm sure you'll find someone. I went to Superior Autobody down the street where they treated me with respect and updated me every step of the way. You'd think because there are so many body shops on this street that treating customers well would be a priority. I guess Subway doesn't need my or my family's business. My car doesn't look like a Frankenstein car anymore and it was no thanks at all to Subway. I will have my son go to Superior next time.
