Amazing experience and food here. The staff is kind and accommodating and the hot pot was delicious! I got the mushroom soup base and my partner got the tomato soup. Everything we ordered came fast and the complimentary side dishes were great. We absolutely LOVED the interior!! We were surrounded by swimming whales on projection screens

What a gem of Pottstown. Went here before a comedy show at Soul Joel's. Asked the waiter and it's only been open a year but everything ran smoothly. A bevy of food. A cornucopia of choices. The no brianer was to get both the grill AND soup. Totaled about $50 after tax and tip per person, with no drinks. Well worth it.

Just walked out of Hi-Pot in Pottstown. It's more like 4.5 stars. I've seen a lot of potentials of this place, but there's room for adjustment/improvement as they are still quite new. Here is what I like: 1) it's very spacious, plenty of room even when it's at its full capacity; 2) seating is comfortable, all booths, which is quite rare for a hotpot and bbq place; 3) service is attentive and friendly; 4) it's all you can eat, but the server brings food to your table instead of your going to fetch them yourself, which means it's more organized; 5) MOST IMPORTANTLY, ingredients are of decent quality comparing to other all-you-can-eat hotpot/bbq establishments. Here is what I think they could do better: 1) the interior decor, though fun (they have animated images projected onto the wall), is a bit tacky to my taste, but this is a minor criticism as hotpot/bbq isn't meant to be the most romantic place for dates anyway; 2) although they have all kinds of sauces, the layout of the sauce bar isn't ideal--having double rows can easily cause sauce at the inner row to drip into the outer row when customer is getting the sauce; 3) warm snacks, such as the spring rolls, fried dumplings are kept together with salad instead of on food warmers, which means likely you'll be eating cold spring rolls and dumplings. Overall, I'm happy with my dining experience. I think it's a valuable addition to the dining scene in the area. You can go shopping at the outlet nearby and have your lunch or dinner here.

Service is excellent and they genuinely want you to enjoy your time. If you get the BBQ or hi pot, it's about $35, more for both. It's definitely something for an experience.

New Hi Pot location in Pottstown, PA Hi Pot serves a variety of hot pot and Korean bbq options for lunch and dinner, and the best part is that it's all you can eat! As a pescatarian, there were several seafood and veggie options along with the usual meat options. My friends and I opted for the Korean bbq AND hot pot. The Thai tom yum soup base was INCREDIBLE. We also got bubble milk tea and fruit tea, which were SO GOOD.As for food, the spicy baby octopus & garlic shrimp were my favorites! This new Hi Pot location in Pottstown is absolutely worth going to. It's a large, clean space with spacious booth tables, kind and attentive staff, and endless bbq and hot pot options!

Wanted to test out Hi Pot as we've been to another forty minutes from here. Glad to see more food options coming to this area. Our bellies were def full after this meal. There were two of us and we ordered the hot pot and bbq. The sauces, salad, and appetizers are buffet style. You order the rest from the menu and they bring it out. We both got the spicy Szechuan soup base. For the bbq we ordered pork belly, garlic chicken, garlic shrimp, spicy beef. And a whole lot of fixins. Staff were very friendly. Ambience was nice. Very clean. Some people may think the projections are cheesy, but I liked it. Haven't seen it in other places. We'll return soon w some friends.

Food was delicious and ingredients was great! Service was friendly and quick, and servers are very attentive! A lot of good selection and menu items, and I'm glad a hotpot finally opened near my area! The place is clean, and the grill are always cleaned when gets burnt. Will definitely come back!

The reality is that it's a really midrange hotpot place. On this experience particularly we got half spicy and half regular broth and it wasn't spicy. Our waiter never returned with our extra cuts of meat when we put them in the iPad, and while the ambience is very upbeat and the playlist was lit, i just don't see myself returning. The other thing is they give lobster and we never end up eating it and my friend has now gotten sick 2 times from eating the seafood from this place. I think if you stick to the meats and cook them for long enough, you're solid. Enjoy the experience, enjoy your friend, go with an open mind and an empty stomach. Don't let this be the place you become an adventure seeker.

Michael, the manager, always greets us with a smile, and sometimes we even get lucky enough to have him as our server. I genuinely don't think I've ever seen this guy have a bad day. He's professional, welcoming, funny, and somehow makes every visit feel personal. Gin is also amazing, we absolutely love getting him as our waiter. Honestly though, we've never had a bad experience with any member of the staff. Everyone there is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. For years, this has been the ONLY restaurant my mom consistently wants to go to. We use way too much sauce, accidentally burn half our food, and still somehow have the best time every single visit. The atmosphere is just that good. And the food? Absolutely top tier. The meats, seafood, and vegetables are always fresh. The Thai Tom Yum broth is my personal favorite and never disappoints. My mom is obsessed with the KPot short rib, and honestly, I can see why, it's amazing. I'm hooked on the sweet and spicy sauce with the garlic shrimp. Although this has been open for a while, I don't think the quality has decline at all. One of the standout features of this restaurant was its extensive food selection. The variety of meats available for Korean BBQ was truly remarkable, ranging from beef bulgogi and marinated pork belly to tender chicken and flavorful seafood. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. Moreover, the hot pot offerings were equally impressive, with an array of fresh vegetables, seafood, and delectable broths to choose from. The ability to customize my dining experience according to my preferences was a definite highlight. Although it feels like I am eating less and less each time I come because maybe I am not able to eat as much I used to. Ha What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The waitstaff were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout my entire dining experience. They were more than willing to guide me through the menu, make recommendations based on my preferences, and ensure that all my needs were met. The servers were quick to refill our drinks, change out the grill, and offer assistance whenever required. They recently added tablet ordering which makes some of the dining experience better. Food comes out even quicker without flagging down your waiter/waitress. Another commendable aspect of this establishment was the reasonable price point. Given the quality and variety of the food on offer. This combination of delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices makes it an outstanding value for money. In conclusion, I've been to KPot many times over the year and haven't been disappointed yet. From the start, our waitress Kaitlin seated us--and that was the last time my friend and I ever saw her. My friend noticed her multiple times sitting and chatting with a table just three tables down, but she never once came back to ours. Almost 40 minutes went by before we finally had to ask another staff member to take our order, and a different waitress ended up bringing out our food. On top of that, our grill started smoking, and when Kaitlin walked by, all she said was "my bad" and kept going. No attempt to fix it, and she went right back to giggling in the corner with other employees. I'm all for having fun at work, but if you're going to ignore your tables completely, why even show up? I tried the cattle beef tripe, quail eggs, and fried tofu skins to mix it up from the Kobe beef, pork belly and shrimp. We also tried the combo offered on the weekends of BBQ. We learned too late to just take the waiters advice to order a couple of items and then to add more. Our eyes definitely wanted more than our bellies could fully finish. But we certainly did our best to eat the majority of vegetables and meats we ordered. We now know that we need to figure the order of cooking items to avoid burning things. Like cooking the pork belly perhaps first to use the grease to cook the zucchini and potato's before some other quicker cooking options? As I said, we are learning and appreciating the flavors and delicious options. The waiters ensured that we had a clean barbecue to cook on by switching out the grills periodically. They cleared off the dishes in due order. The sauce / salad / dessert bar was plentiful. The restaurant is conveniently located within a shopping plaza with easy and free parking. The only caution is that the floors are slippery. They have signs all around warning the patrons of this in addition to the host/ess bringing it to your attention when you first come in. They explained it was due to the humidity at this time of year (Spring). If you are unsteady on your feet, or require an assistive device to get around or your shoes slide on certain surfaces more easily than others, then just be careful. I'm looking forward to trying hot pot again thanks to this experience at KPOT Philly on Oregon.
