All you can eat personal hotpot & BBQ for under $40 per person is definitely a great deal. There are seven soup bases to choose from for the hot pot, and for just $3 more you can do both BBQ and hot pot. The food quality was better than expected, especially the seafood selection: salmon, shrimp, crayfish, crab, mussels and more... The blue mussels were probably the freshest I've had at any buffet. They also have a conveyor belt, though it's not very useful since it isn't refrigerated, so it mostly carries non perishable items like noodles and vegetables. Dessert is the weakest part of the buffet, but I do recommend the chocolate tiramisu. They also have a koi fish pond, kids would love that!

What a fun experience. BYOB and $33.99 for all you can eat BBQ and Soup. The Waitress explained the entire concept and how they serve you, so there was no confusion when going up to the buffet to get our ingredients for our broth. They have a conveyor belt of fresh ingredients to add to your soup base that come to every table. The restaurant feels very open and inviting. The staff is all so friendly and helpful to new diners. It is intimidating if you're not one for large open restaurants, but everyone is there for their own experience and it was awesome to try this spot. It is a little pricey but it's worth the price for a night out with your friends, especially if you haven't tried anything like this.

I live to try different restaurants. Volcano pot was this time. Good food. Cook yourself with the soup base provided. They encourage you yo take what you can eat. No doggy bags. I had sea fungus, which interestingly had no taste nor flavor

Their front is so nicely decorated and fun to look at. It's nearing Halloween so they had some holiday themed decor up. There's also a lot of seating so I doubt you'll ever have to wait. Service was good, server asked if it was our first time and gave us a run down of the place. Veggies come out on the conveyor belt and the rest is self-serve. Server was pretty attentive and was quick to clear our empty plates and refill my tea. Free refills on sweat tea! In terms of food, there's plenty of options. Meats, seafood, sides. Even fried foods. I think because the meats are frozen, they're so brittle that it breaks when we go to grab it. Of course it's user error though and I agree the meats should be frozen, it's just a downside of it being self serve. There's a lot of broken pieces so the meats tended to be small chunks. Although there were plenty of options, there were some items I was hoping for that were not available. Some of the vegetables that were listed as options were not seen during my visit. I.e enoki mushrooms and watercress. Although the selection is smaller than other AYCE of this style, it was enough and worth the money. There was a decent amount of dessert options so that's a plus. I got the spicy broth and it was perfect. Very fragrant, not painfully spicy which is perfect for me but maybe saddening for the spice pros. Overall good experience.

My second(?) visit since the last time they were having grand opening,,, I feel the meat selections were so limited and the ingredients on conveyor belts are not that various... But for the price and ayce, I don't think it is bad, They used oil sheet (?) for the bbq grill which easily burns, initially thought it was smart idea, instead of changing grill itself but then the sheet is easily burnt and stick to the meat, i had second thoughts about it But the server was pretty attentive and Service was good!

Since my first review, I've come here more times than I can count on my hands + they are CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS. Changing my review from a 4 Star to a 5 Star! Thanks to the attentive staff + shoutout to Teddy who is the best host for larger parties and the greatest companion on days when I'm there as just a party for one. Love the buffet style of this hotpot, gives you the control of choosing what you'd like and how much of it you'd like without having to bother staff constantly. The conveyor belt concept for veggies is wonderful + fun! A solid place and just always love coming here for lunch + dinner!

I like the buffet style to get our own meat. All the hot pot places I have been to - I had to 'order' what I wanted. The buffet style makes it a little more convenience. However, I think the quality of meat isn't as good. The place is spacious and service is good.

This place was a fun vibe! Came here for a girls dinner and the service was top notch-- so quick that they would take the CLEAN plates off the table quicker than expected haha. We got the Korean BBQ and hot pot dinner (apparently you can't just get Korean Bbq, but you can only get hot pot if you wanted). I thought the beef short ribs were great, they had a nice bulgogi flavor and so did the other beef bits. The pork belly was a little too fatty for me, but the hot pot items were good too. For hot pot, I got the original broth because I hadn't done hot pot before and then I ended up adding chili paste and a mixture of sauces and seasonings. They had these scallion pancakes that were really tasty, we were waiting for them to refill those when the tray got empty. I checked out the bathroom when there-- 2 stalls in the women's and it had cool blue lighting. Notably, there was a sign to not stand on top of the toilets.. as if that's been a problem in the past haha. There was a floor drying fan in there too to prevent water from just gathering on the floor. I looked at the desert options, but chose not to get any-- I was hoping they'd have green tea ice cream, but the flavors were strawberry, Orange sherbet and chocolate. All in all, I'd love to come back!

Volcano Hot Pot has a pretty amazing selection of hot pot options. You can also upgrade your experience for a few dollars more to include unlimited BBQ options as well. Since we only opted for the hot pot, I can also say the BBQ upgrade looked well worth it if you want a larger variety. On arrival, you'll be seated and order your base. From there, it is self serve on a variety of meat, seafood, and vegetable options. All you need to do is grab a plate and load up. They also have a great sauce serving station, again self-serve, to accompany you hot pot dipping. I found the quality to be on par with most all-you-can-eat experiences. We never felt rushed nor did we feel like we had limited options. We both filled up yet still made room for the dessert which was included. While you won't interact with servers too much, they are friendly and stop to help you on any request. At one point they had a conveyor around the tables that would bring veggies for hot pot, however, it was not around on my last trip. Finally, I do believe their is a time limit, however, we were more than full before we hit it (if there indeed was one).

Not sure where to start - this is a very large place with a variety of seating. When you walk in there's a koi pond and nice decor. First thing - it's an AYCE: with an option for just hot pot or hot pot AND KBB. We chose both, and got to work. One cool amenity that i have never seen or had at these places is the conveyor belt that snakes along the seating with the sides and vegetables. So - rather than having to order more (XYZ) it's either coming around on conveyor or up at the bars where you choose exactly what you want to cook/boil/grill. There are multiple areas for the hot pot meat rolls, seafood, noodles, KBB meat, sauce bar, desserts etc. also a random jar of gummy bears. I will say the variety of the items on the bar is cool (mussels, prawns, etc etc.) but it really lacked in just the very basic needs of the average consumer or customer. We sat down with our gatherings and started to eat. Our waiter wasn't terrible - nice guy but he really struggled at refills. Overall - not bad. Would recommend trying it.

Another epic meal at Volcano! The food, service, and vibe are all top-notch! Even the bus boys all smile and say hello to you--well-trained staff, for sure! This is a buffet-styled hot pot place, but the ingredients are better than regular buffets! They cover everything, from all kinds of vegetables to meat, poultry, seafood and desserts. I love the complimentary scallion pancakes--so crispy and full of flavors. Come to try if you haven't tried this place. You won't regret. We would be here more frequently if the drive were shorter.

Love coming here for hot pot and kbbq! They have a great variety to pick from. Everything is super clean and really well kept. The staff is super helpful if it's your first time doing kbbq/hot pot. They also help with the kbbq which is really nice.

We had to ask for water repeatedly and our server forgot to help us turn on our hot pot stoves (and she was also impssible to find). 2. Many utensils were missing, including the spoons for the hot pot, seafood crackers (for the crab legs), and bowls for the hot pot. 3. We ordered the udon 3 times - and finally gave up. 4. Usually, grills are switched out pretty frequently - we had to ask when our grill was literally non-usable. 5. Expect that you will be missing items from your order so patience is a virtue. The meats are ok with some much better than others. 1. I would recommend loading up on the fatty brisket for the hot pot as that was actually very solid. Be sure to order a few portions as they are quite small. 2. For the BBQ, the ribeye, marinated short ribs, and bugolgi are solid. The angus steak and chuck flap were both a bit tough. If you are in the mood for fish, the salmon is a good option - the cuts are thick enough that you can get a nice medium rare if you watch the grill closely. 3. The buffet has snow crab legs and crawfish for dinner - do NOT skip out on the crawfish as that was a highlight. They were fresh and very flavorful with Cajun seasoning. Peronally, I prefer the order-from-tablet approach at KPot as it cuts down on the wait time, especially if your server is MIA but this will satisy a craving in a pinch. It may have been an off-night but the venue was not packed tonight so that should not have been a reason for some of the misses.

It's part of the Montgomery Mall, so it's super convenient to get to, with a huge parking lot outside. For just a couple of bucks more, you can get both Korean BBQ and hot pot, so it's totally worth it. Plus, the marinated beef on the Korean BBQ doesn't contain any MSG either. A big win for those like me who are sensitive to it but nervous about ordering certain dishes. You will be fine here ordering the food.

My friend had the mixed greens and I had the Caesar salad. Both were flavorful, fresh, and wonderfully chilled, and heaping over the tops of the salad bowls. We had to bring half of them home. And then came the entrees. Oh my! My friend enjoyed her cheeseburger which was perfectly cooked and so loaded with toppings, she had to remove some of them to eat it. She said it was very flavorful and cooked just the way she liked. Because it was my birthday, I splurged and got the outlaw ribeye and seasoned fries. Oh man, both were mouthwateringly DELICIOUS!!! The steak was perfectly charred and cooked (medium rare) all through out, and the seasoning was spot on. I did NOT have to add any salt, pepper, or sauce, for the steak flavor was perfect just the way they prepared it. And my fries were a heavenly delight - seasoned well but not over done - no ketchup or added salt needed on these tasty guys! I ate half and boxed up the rest to take home. Last, but not least, came the gorgeous strawberry and cream shortcake dessert (I brought half of this home, too). But to our surprise, they also brought out a long-stem glass filled with a gigantic ball of vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce, and garnished with whipped cream. On top was a lit birthday candle. It was on a large platter with the words Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce! What a wonderful and thoughtful birthday surprise!!! I wish we had thought to take pictures of each food item as they came out, but we didn't think of it until the desserts. We will remember next time! Early on, we had notified our server that we wanted a leisurely lunch, and she gave us all the time we wanted. Without rushing us in any way, she was friendly and attentive - my birthday lunch could NOT have been better. My thanks to my dear friend who added laughter and fun, AND to Longhorn staff who helped to make my birthday special! -GB

I'm from NJ, and I came down to visit my family for my birthday. My family and I went there for…read moredinner and it was my birthday. We sat down and waited at least 20-30 minutes with noone acknowledge us. Our so called server Ashley, made eye contact with me and greeted another table that came in after us unacceptable. She was gathered together with two other servers chatting with the back to us and she didn't even have the dignenecy to come over greet us and said hello at least, no one I mean no one did. My mom even asked me, did that couple ( they) get sat after or before us? That's was sat next to us, and I said after they got greeted first and right away but we didn't and we sat down before them wtf Our server Ashley needs to be retrained she doesn't know her shit, You're supposed to greet within 30 seconds and drinks with in a minute. I am one as a server, who knows who's been in the business for 40 plus years and works personally for Darden knows the ropes better than these little twits that work here. We didn't even get a chance to eat a good delicious meal or even get anything no bread no drinks, NADA, because we didn't even get greeted. Ashley needs to be more attentive and efficient on top of her tables and section. It is not the host or hostess job to tell the servers when they get sat, it's your section, your table, your responsibility to keep on top of it duhhhh I always say if the server gets to overwhelmed by to many tables then don't give them extra or a lot of them if they can't handle it. I called to talk to the manager bout it, he was an ASSHOLE acted like he didn't even care, and I had more knowledge o and about the situation than he did. He said the server and the people next to us said we went to the bathroom, we never went to the bathroom and we never left the table until we got up and started walking out, we were walking out is because we never got greeted LIARS! As I was walking out, I told the host up at the host stand, hey I just wanted to let you guys know you sat all of us at a table and a server never came over after 20 to 30 minutes but greeted someone then came in after us no way jose, and we left and walked out. The signs on the outside were broken and the lights were out also when I was walking out and my nephew noticed it also. I called corporate and I'm going to the director of operations, I reported him and the server Ashley and who knows probably not going to have a job anymore. The worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant. The only good thing bout the experience was the host and hostess. They greeted us and said their good byes and cared more is then any other person there. Plus We have had better experiences here during lunch service there then dinner. Fuck that place and the peeps that work there. Thanks for ruining my birthday, jerks. We will never come back or return to this shit hole.
