The staff at Veekoo are phenomenally kind. The ambiance is great. They offer curbside and take-out, which seem to be a popular option, but I've never had a bad experience dining-in. Veekoo has a great selection of options, which makes this a popular gathering place for our large family. We have picky eaters and dietary restrictions, and in that regard, Veekoo never disappoints.

Well we found Costco selling gift cards for this restaurant and since it was near us we decided to give it a try. To start with the restraining wants it to be treated as upscale but we didn't feel like it. Our waiter was a little rude and didn't care about answering our questions and just wanted to get it over with. Food prices vs food portions are not at all aligned. Veggies are plenty but meat items are just sprinkled on. Food taste is meh. We tried two soups, hot and sour and pork wonton. Both were bland and lacked any seasoning. Hot and sour had a funny smell and we could never finish it, wonton soup had at least good wontons but the broth was like water with some spring onions. Pad thai was ok but again hardly 4 pieces of shrimp and not much seasoning, we could only eat it with their chilli oil. Saving grace was their Szechuan chicken which was flavorful and great but again filled up with veggies and very less chicken. We had ordered take out for an earlier time and got Honey Glazed Walnut shrimp. You would expect Shrimps to be honey glazed but only walnuts were honey glazed and shrimp was just seasoning less fried shrimp, big disappointment.

Great food, great service and can be busy. The walnut shrimp is off the charts and pad thai is great. Sushi is also good, I was disappointed w the portion for Honey Walnut Shrimp- $28 for a small size which has downgraded since the last time I was here. Overall great place for asian food!

Sushi quality is great! Little bit pricey but great quality. Larger pieces of fish which is nice.

When you're bored on a Saturday with no plans choose Asian fusion. Veekoo was top notch. Good vibe but not over the top. Super fast service. Everything tasted amazing. We can't wait to go back!

The prices are not justified by the food. The dishes are mediocre, not as good as previously encountered there.

The menu is massive and it was so hard to choose what to get. I got the Tuna Madness Roll and it was so much tuna. Very good and filling. Sushi is my absolute favorite food!! So what an opportunity passing through Collegeville to try Kumo. Also in hearing it recommended from multiple people. Order was ready in time & appreciated the text message updates, when ordering online. Once home, and famished, I couldn't wait to eat. However how my eyes did not match my tastebuds. The sushi looked good but just tasted ok. A huge tell is the rice quality and mouth-work for the rolls. Sushi rice should be soft and rolls pillowy, not chewy and sticky. Unfortunately, the latter was my experience. I ordered the Ginza Nigiri Platter and the Osaka Crunch Roll. The roll was tasty, however the combo was just off. Also dense. With some of my most favorite elements (pepper tuna and crab), was looking for this to be a knockout combo. However it didn't meld. The components tasted better apart, and honestly that is how I ate it. The Nigiri tasted fresh in all but one piece, except the rice. Sticky, hard and blah. The Uni- I die for uni. It's one of the most unique sea creature flavors, I love it. But, I did not experience it with Kumo, as this piece I threw away. Upon bringing it to my nose, something was off. I dabbed my chopsticks into the uni and tasted a snippet. No, ewww no. It was dirty sea floor. Not a clean, perky breath of ocean (as it should be). Bad. Judging Kumo here on takeout, in that it missed the mark. Bummer in the look forward to, but better to know than not. Wishing a sit down experience brings each diner a better meal.

I had nine different Baos and some were good, but some were suboptimal. A few of my favorites were the Bang Bang, lil Bao Wow, and Bao Boa which the combination of flavors made sense on a bao and they didn't fall apart as easily due to the amount of filling they had or how soaked they were from the steam. The yenta, prime time, and crispy chick were okay. I wish there was a little bit more sauce on each one. I feel like the yenta would've been better with a larger pizza of pastrami as cutting it so thin and tiny sort of destroyed the flavor of it. The gringo was a bit on the drier side and the sticky chicky was underwhelming, I think it needed something extra to enhance the flavor profile of it. Lastly, I had the Hot Motha Clucka which was my least favorite of the nine. Not enough buffalo sauce and too much blue cheese, ultimately the blue cheese overpowered everything else and made this one a bit distasteful. The prices were also not much better, Nine Baos for $47 is absurd.

Asking for simple things meant her carrying eating utensils with her bare hands over to the table. Never in any world is it okay to carry straws from the middle of the straw where it will make contact with what you are drinking and give it to patrons to use. She is not well versed on what the restaurant has and seemed to be rushing us. She started taking things from the table before asking if we were done. These things were a first for me and I was shocked. She does not seem attentive or observant which is a huge red flag when it comes to service. She may benefit from additional training. The drinks (without use of the unsanitary straws) were delicious! The food was decent but there are items that I would not get again. If I were to give this place another try, I would hope to get better service from a different server for sure. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere but there are for sure better options in the area. Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.
