My girlfriend and I spent one day and one night in Niagara Falls and we went to Wanderfalls…read moreGuesthouse. Andre & Caroll were just awesome, full of great advice and incredbly helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggages to their place even after checking-out so that we didn't have to carry them while visiting the falls. They took us to our bus station for a price a lot cheaper than the cab. It saved us from a lot of hassle! The guesthouse itself is really nice and comfy. The chambers were nice, and the guests when we were there were cool too. Living room and kitchen are for everyone to use and it's really nice. Free pancakes, coffee and tea in the morning! It's also located from walking distance from Niagara Falls and that's really convenient. We couldn't have find a better place :)

Great place to stay in Niagara Falls!…read more Pros: - Clean - Safe - Comfortable - Great hosts/owners - Delicious pancake breakfast included :) I stayed in a dorm with a friend of mine, and since we visited in off-season we had the room to ourselves! It would have been a little cramped with four people and their luggage (which was capacity), but was perfect for the two of us. Carroll and Andre, the owners and hosts are great people, very friendly and helpful. We were driving up from West Point and arriving late at night. Carroll made arrangements for us to check in after-hours, and it was super easy. She greeted us in the morning and gave us a map and great tips on the attractions, while Andre made us pancakes. I would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone. Things to note: - There is only one bathroom with a shower, and it is shared amongst the rooms. Theres another half-bath in the hostel, but only one with a shower. - The house is old, though the furnishings are new and in good condition. If you're looking for a hostel, this is perfect. If you're looking for a plush B&B, this probably won't be enough for you.

The accommodations are kept clean, and the king size bed was firm and comfortable. Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. Sterling Inn appears to be one of the better hotel options in the immediate touristy area. *There is a AG Restaurant on premises , as well as Spa for your pleasure.* Thank you for reading. Have a good day!

There is a restaurant below the inn which was fabulous. Staff were welcoming and warm. Being from out of the country I had numerous questions while I was there and the staff I met were patient and helpful. The room was modern, clean, and neat. I rarely heard any of my neighbors or outside noise. The bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was good, and the AC worked properly. Breakfast in bed is delivered each morning if you request it. It was a lot of food for me so I opted out the rest of my trip.

The location is excellent, we could easily visit the falls but the rooms feel very outdated. The…read more"river view" is misleading; we were told trees block the falls entirely, and you'd need to upgrade for any real view. Front desk told us that they upgraded us to the top floor but only put us on the 12th floor but there were rooms higher since the elevator went to the 21st floor. The bathroom layout was weird with hair still in the shower, lights flickered constantly by the sink, and shampoo wasn't provided until we asked (and even then, it took a while). They had mini bottles enough for one person. It was 20-30°F outside, yet the AC was blasting at 60°F. Beds were comfortable, but we treated the hotel purely as a crash pad. Hallways were freezing, matching the outdoor chill. We barely spent time inside unless it was to sleep. If you're focused on exploring the area and just need a basic spot with (potential) views, this works. For amenities or comfort, look elsewhere. Parking is uncovered and pricey for one night, especially inconvenient when it snowed during our stay; a covered lot would've helped.

Check-in was a bit slow, but still pre-season so not as bad as other's experiences. The view from my window was awesome for a first-timer to Niagara (see pics!). Front desk staff were really helpful and they had some pretty decent free coffee in the lobby. We also got coupons upon check-in must most felt more useful if you were a family and not a solo traveler like me. I did use the coupon over at Applebee's and they honored 1/2 of it on a solo entree. Fair! Overall recommended for a solo traveler who wants to be in walking distance.
