Atlanta Home Alarm Systems came over within 24 hours, converted the system to their monitoring service and I couldn't be more pleased with their service, reliability and value. AND they offer pay as you go, monthly payments, no contract! I still can't believe it. Since then their very capable techs have replaced sensors when they went kafitz!, moved all the sensors when we had our windows replaced, relocated the cellular service connection to the attic when the under stairs wiring closet couldn't keep a connection... Apparently, Vivint is only interested in getting homeowners to sign up. If you have a problem (and eventually you will), they don't show up. Last July, we were out of town when a severe storm knocked our doorbell and outdoor cameras offline. They are still offline. When I returned home, I followed the reset procedures 3 times without success. Next, I chatted with their AI chatbot, which seemed reluctant to switch me over to a human tech. We troubleshot for over an hour and still couldn't fix the problem. I requested a home visit then. But no one was dispatched. I sent an email to customer service on Sep 20, 2026, requesting a home visit. As of this writing, they have not responded. Don't just take my word for it; research the company's history on customer service before signing up with this company. And save your money. You can do better.
