This was an excellent testing facility. It was a small testing room which was amazing with large adjustable monitors. Last time I tested at another facility that was much larger and all of the background noise from other testers and the staff coming in and out made it hard to focus. When I tested at HHD there were only 4 other testers and focusing was a breeze. It also made me feel comfortable testing during a pandemic having such a small group! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and did a great job explaining the system. It was conveniently located for me being located in Hamilton and was easy to get into. I recently had a first time contact with HHD Aviation! I was there for my Part 107 FAA testing to obtain my my Remote Pilot Certification for UAS (drones). My call for an appointment was answered quickly and I was able to schedule my test the same day. Registration and location information was quickly emailed to me which I compiled and emailed back. Upon my arrival, I was directed to the testing room, given instructions, asked if I had questions and began my test. I do not think that it could have gone more smoothly. Took my CCMA Test here. Their availability was superb, I registered and got the test date that just less than a week away from registration, very convenient for me that needed ASAP date to test. Darrin was very helpful. I was the only one testing that day. The testing room was quiet. I didn't get the result immediately after I submitted my test, but it's all the policy of the AHA that result will take 72 business days (no idea why since it's computerized test), nothing that HHD Aviation can do about it. I did call AHA to complaint about their weird scoring system that took 72 business hours. I highly recommended this place. read more

Chose this location based on availability after covid-19 closure. There were many convenient times and dates available. The location was easy to get to and Felicia was super! Testing center and equipment were very clean and observance of social distancing and mask usage was enforced. There was another moderator in the room the was explaining the tutorial aloud to his testers while I was instructed to read the tutorial myself quietly. This was an annoyance given that my test was timed and requires full concentration. Aside from that, great experience. read more

The best testing location experience I have had in my many years of licensing testing. The available hours and days were absolutely incomparable! The location was quiet, clean, modern, comfortable, well organized. The test proctor was courteous, masked, helpful, and very kind. Although this site did not pop up immediately in the search results on the PSI website back in 2020, I am so glad it finally did. I have nothing but good things to say about that location. Great experience with HHD Aviation and Darrin (testing center supervisor). I took my unmanned aircraft - general exam at HHD. The facility is very clean and set up well with the equipment necessary for taking the test. I have tested at other sites in the past but this was by far the easiest process. Walked in and had a friendly introduction to the testing center and process for testing. Had a short (10 min) check in and then I was escorted to my testing computer. Upon completion I was given my paperwork and sent on my way. Great experience from the time I walked until I left. The gal who met me when I arrived was so friendly and very thorough in all her directions. She even walked me to the restrooms so I'd know how to quickly leave the testing area and return as quickly as possible if it was needed. Both my husband and I took drone testing at HHD aviation. Excellent facility. Clean facility, clean restrooms. Up-to-date computers, everything that you needed was right there. We were greeted immediately when we arrived. Set up for our testing, extremely efficient. Everything was explained, answering any questions that we had. There was plenty of parking. The day prior to testing here I was scheduled to take my real estate exam at a different location and they cancelled my test an hour before...HHD Aviation was able to reschedule the test for the next day in the middle of the pandemic!! After a lot of back and forth and last minute cancellations with PSI I was relieved that this location actually had a phone number and someone answered! Darren was very helpful and even did work on his end to help me and other people out who were coming to test but kept being told it was cancelled. The center was clean and COVID compliant. This was the only testing facility in Ohio that I could find that was open and had available appts during the pandemic of '20. A very nice staff and a very comfortable testing environment! Clean facility, well organized and super helpful staff. It was easy to schedule and take my state insurance exams at the Tristate Professional Training and Testing center. Being able to submit finger prints at the same location immediately following the test was also incredibly helpful. I took the drone pilot test with HHD Aviation and would highly recommend them and their facilities. I also brought a friend to do the same and while he suffers from severe test anxiety their staff and facilities allowed him to focus and succeed. They were prompt, efficient, professional, knowledgeable and unbelievably patient. We will go back when it is time to retest. read more
