It was delicious. The afghan bread/naan (it is similar to naan but a bit different and I'm not sure on the terminology) was incredible. Soft, crispy, chewy, it was the perfect vehicle to eat with the rest of our food. The yogurt drink was interesting and I'd recommend trying it, but it is different from lassi. It is salty and savory and refreshing, but I probably wouldn't have it again. This was, surprisingly, our favorite meal in Germany. Highly recommended.

He told me later he was a Syrian, recently immigrated. We found common grounds to communicate. No problem with getting a meal ordered by me pointing at the great smelling meats being grilled and what the other patrons were eating. We ended up having one of the better meals we had in Munchen.
