It was delicious. The afghan bread/naan (it is similar to naan but a bit different and I'm not sure on the terminology) was incredible. Soft, crispy, chewy, it was the perfect vehicle to eat with the rest of our food. The yogurt drink was interesting and I'd recommend trying it, but it is different from lassi. He told me later he was a Syrian, recently immigrated. We found common grounds to communicate.
