One Hitter box. Super cute and personal sized!

Really flavorful and perfectly crispy Vegan pizza! They ran out of vegan cheese and Gio (super nice) recommended it without the cheese! It was delicious and next time, we'll order it the same way!!

On a chilly Sunday, I noticed Doordash was offering 25%-off to try Hesher's Pizza in Oakland. So I decided to order a "Hesh Law" regular size pizza. Wow, this is a good pizza. I like combo pizzas, and the Hesh Law is a supreme pizza. Don't let the rectangular shape fool you, this isn't a Detroit-style slab pizza like they serve at Square Pie Guys. My pizza had a thinner crust, and a thick layer of toppings that carried strong flavors. The serrano peppers gave each bite a dose of heat. A regular Hesh Law pizza is about 9" x 12" and has 8 slices (squares). Also, Parmesan Cheese comes in cute little "baggies." Well worth a try next time you're in Oakland.

I only tried one pizza. It was all meat.it was decent. My favorite part was the crust. Decent pizza spot with a decent vibe.

They have the best pizza in the Bay! I went on a night they were having a show and I'm not going to hold you, I need to go back for the live music! The crowd wasn't one I would normally hang around but I think I'm about to make an exception! They were chill! The service was great and I missed my train ride home for this Canadian Tuxedo, that's how good it is!

I came on a Friday night and it was a chill atmosphere. Parking was easy to find. I got a flight and my favorite was the pear cider. Absolutely sweet and delicious! The pineapple jalapeño pizza was really good! It definitely has that kick of spice. The pizza with blue cheese and blueberry was interesting. I personally did not like it but I think it's worth trying if you want to venture. The pizza quality is great. I loved it and honestly I'm not a big pizza lover. However, you do have to wait a while for the pizza so if you're going to chat for a while - I recommend ordering first. There was on staff doing everything when I was there and she is super kind and friendly.

I'm giving this two stars because the service and the atmosphere are pretty amazing. It's a hard-core/metal/punk bar that just happens to sell pizza for some reason. But the pizza that they sell is very bad. I've actually had better frozen pizza. I thought it was because it's a square pie style, which I don't typically like, but I've had square pies that I thought were amazing like Prince Street in New York and Square pie guys in San Francisco. This pizza is on par with places like Domino's or Little Caesars.

We ordered on DoorDash and out dasher accidentally got the wrong order. Hesher's did a great job of notifying DoorDash who notified us and they actually still had our pizza at the restaurant so we could pick it up. The pizza was definitely worth it!! The luau one was delicious but a little spicy for me (in a good way)! The tomb mold was definitely the highlight! It was delicious and I wanted to keep coming back for more!

Hesher's Law quite spicy

Good pizza great service. 3*5 stars! I ordered heshers law, very spicy, seranno peppers on it. I love spicy but too much for me.. the flavors of all the ingredients together were too intense for me, very rich. Atleast I tried it, it wouldn't be a regular spot though for me, this is pie is definitely niche. I also didn't love the sausage they use, being Italian they weren't great. I pretty much knew though from looking at Yelp the sausage wouldn't be anything special, so not too disappointed.

Hesher's is definitely one of my favorite pizza spots in Oakland! They have so many delicious flavor combos or you can create your own; both are delicious! They are always super generous with the toppings and I find the crust to be the perfect thickness for my preference. They have a really good amount of seating inside and I love that they have a stash of games available. It's also a short walk from the water at Jack London Square so it's perfect to take for a picnic!

Great pizza, fun casual atmosphere. Music is on point for the theme. Haven't played any of the pinball and games but looks like fun and see kids partaking. It's never too crowded. I order either a small custom pizza or the Mutate for 2-3 people. Recommend

I was craving a pizza and the Coffins Choice satisfied all the right taste buds! No complaints, cute packaging, only request maybe to have it a bit more crispy. All in all I will def be recommending Heshers

If you are ever visiting Oakland you absolutely need to visit this pizza place! I can say it's hands down the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life and I'm honestly so sad that I don't like closer because I would be eating this weekly. They offer a variety of pizzas and drinks. I got their peach cider which tasted amazing and I cannot stand the taste of alcohol so that's saying something. Once you're done dining they have a small arcade full of pinball machines and a racing game. The staff were super friendly and funny too! Overall 10/10 experience I genuinely cannot wait to visit again!

Rounding up for the cool atmosphere and great service. Lots of rock n roll pinball machines and metal decor. The pizza itself was missable and the wait epically long. Convenient location to grab a bite before the show

I wish that the in-store menu was as colorful as the online menu. I would have loved the coconut horchata, but I must have missed that when I was looking at the menu. When I was composting my plate I saw that they were making fresh orange juice as well. Yum! I was really pleased with the bottle of sparkling water I had but will opt for something a little more fun to drink on my next visit. A front row parking spot might be tricky with the limited parking on the street, but it was possible to find a spot nearby on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Easy to order, friendly service, and food was brought to our table. No seating inside, but it was a lovely day and there are a few tables outside for dining. Of course, Lake Merritt is basically across the street so you could always order to-go and picnic over there. I lost count, but there were a number of pick-up orders while we

It was very mushroomy. It was all one could taste. The spam did not fit with the ramen and was very jarring to taste in the ramen. Yuzu Matcha (5/5) - It's sour but not too sour. I like that they have a patio area, but it's been full each time I've been, so I haven't had a chance to sit outside. The staff is kind, though they tend to be a bit slow when taking orders at the front. I guess it's nice that they don't rush things, but it can be a bit frustrating when the line is long and they're chatting with each person ordering, which feels like forever. However, once you sit down, the food is delivered quickly. During my first visit, I ordered the Lobster Roll with fries, a donut to-go, and we shared an order of Fried Mozzarella Sticks. The donut was very mild; I've had way better vegan donuts, so I wouldn't get one again. I thought the lobster roll was good, but not great. It did not remind me of a lobster roll at all and was too acidic in my opinion, so I wouldn't get that again either. I loved the mozzarella sticks, though. As a vegan, that typically dislikes vegan cheese, they were a hit. My non-vegan best friend loved them too! During my second visit, I ordered a Jalapeño Business sandwich with potato salad, rocky road to-go, and mozzarella sticks to share since I loved them so much the first time. My friend got a Buffalo Ranch Fried Chicken sandwich, and we decided to swap halves to try more things. I love spicy food, so if I had to choose a favorite, I'd pick my sandwich over hers, but both sandwiches were fantastic! The potato salad was good, but kind of bland for my taste. The rocky road was so yummy, and like last time, the mozzarella sticks did not disappoint. I love supporting fully vegan restaurants and will definitely go back to try more items on the menu. Maybe brunch next time I'm in the area? Not sure, but I highly recommend dropping by. Whether you're vegan or not, they have something tasty for everyone. In fact, each time I've gone, it's been with non-vegan friends, and they all say they'd eat here again.

Back then, it was located on the main floor of a hotel on Geary St. in the heart of Union Square, back when downtown SF was a bustling and busy epicenter of the most beautiful cities in the world. From there, I went back for all my special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations. One day, the lease was up, and you found your new permanent home in Oakland. The vibes and atmosphere changed, but the food remained just as iconic. Unfortunately, it was now at least 1 hour commute for me by public transportation, so I stopped going consistently. Now, you are closing your doors after 30 years of serving your vegan community. Some say that it is another casualty of the decline of veganism. Some say that it was inevitable. But I say, give me a list of restaurants in the Bay Area that have survived 30+ years, even with a cross-bay relocation. And ESPECIALLY for a vegan restaurant. I call that a success. I went for the last time this week and ordered the 5-course chef's tasting menu PLUS 2 additional appetizers. As expected, everything was absolutely delicious. Those crusted fried mushroom appetizers are so divine. The BBQ Tempeh melted in your mouth. I will miss it all so. There have been too many times in recent years when my favorite vegan restaurant announces its closure, and I've been heartbroken one too many times. Wishing the staff of Millennium all the best and that this isn't the final chapter.
