Photos are attached in the review of the returned vehicle. All of a sudden, over 24 hours later we receive a call that we will be charged $325 for cleaning the vehicle out. I was shocked. If you review the photos of the vehicle, there is no dirt, sand or dust in the vehicle. The vehicle was returned spotless. I will be fighting these charges as that is a little excess for cleaning. Steer clear of Budget in North Glen on 104th and spend the extra money at enterprise car rental. I read all reviews here and the cleaning fees are crazy. They do not clean the vehicles when you get them! Its your responsibility to clean it they said. Attached is also the Budget agreement paragraphs on returning the vehicle clean. Normal wear and tear is okay it states, but a piece of hair, or a piece of sand left behind is warrant for $325 cleaning fee?

This was one of the most disturbing and unprofessional experiences I have ever had with any company. I prepaid two weeks in advance for a sedan (Toyota Camry or similar) with a 6:00 PM pickup. On the day of, they called and told me I had to arrive by 5:30 PM because they close at 6:00 PM--yet they allowed a 6:00 PM booking. Completely misleading and unacceptable. When I arrived, the situation immediately felt off. The employee helping me was not professional in appearance or behavior and rushed the entire process. I was handed keys to an SUV (not what I reserved) with no real explanation other than "sedans are sent out of Colorado." Then I was aggressively pressured to sign paperwork confirming no damage before I even saw the vehicle. I refused to sign until I could inspect the car, which clearly irritated her. Instead of doing her job, she lazily clicked the key fob and pointed to a random car outside. No walkthrough, no inspection, no customer service. When my additional driver asked reasonable questions about the vehicle, another employee jumped in with attitude and defensiveness instead of helping. At this point, it was obvious this location does not care about safety, transparency, or customers. We were told that if the vehicle needed tire rotation we needed to take the car to discount if we felt it wasn't safe. Unacceptable. Things escalated quickly. When I calmly asked the agent to slow down and explain the return process, she completely lost control--yelling, screaming, and telling us to get out. She literally kicked us out while we still had the rental keys in hand. It got even worse: her own employee had to physically hold her back while she was screaming at us, and another employee was telling her to "calm down." At one point, an employee even said, "I don't give a f*."** continued to scream like a psychopath. This is the level of professionalism you can expect here. I should have called the cops and reported these people, they were not worth my money being spent, very confused about the situation and what escalated to being kicked out for being a customer with questions went to the vehicle and saw damage, the tank was not full and the entire car inside was dirty. Glad I have evidence of it all. I should have went with Enterprise. My partner was so uncomfortable and disturbed by the situation that he refused to go on the trip at all. During the trip, I received a call from this same employee asking how things were going and offering a credit. I refused, because no amount of credit makes up for this level of behavior. When I explained I didn't feel safe returning the vehicle to that location, she became defensive and falsely accused me of smoking in the car--BEFORE I HAD EVEN RETURNED IT. I do not smoke, and making false claims like that is completely unacceptable and feels like a setup for extra charges. To make matters worse, my sister-in-law--who was there separately with her baby for her own rental--was also forced to leave due to the chaos and threats, even though she had nothing to do with my interaction. She goes down the street to Enterprise almost about to close, mind you without an reservation and receives a car without hassle, wonderful experience the agent went outside to do a walk through and was on her way. This location is a complete joke--rude, aggressive, dishonest, and operating in a way that feels outright fraudulent. I would never trust them with my money, my safety, or my time again. I feel that this should have been discovered during an inspection. this was serious and could've been worse , I went and bought the bolts and clips and re-attached the plastic bumper cover. I figured that some of this could've been partly to circumstances that they couldn't control. 3. I started having problems with the battery don't forget that I've only had this car for a couple weeks. after several days of emailing my salesperson he got back to me and offered to get me a new battery from Firestone, also important to know I've now started missing work because the 2020 Nissan I just bought won't start. So I take the battery out and go to Firestone . I was told all I needed was the vin and the battery of course that wasn't the case. come to find out I need someone else who has a credit card and I'm told that he is always super busy and that it could take 4 to 6 hours before a return call. yes I know my emergency isn't necessarily yours I get it but I tell you I never once have felt like this was any kind of a partnership, the whole experience with enterprise made me feel like I should be honored by their willingness to sell lowly me their car. none of these things alone would have prompted me to warn you about this kinda crappy experience. maybe not even all of them together. What I do take exception to is the slow and unconcerned responses to my emails for help with these issues and the missing of work . a few asides. I email because I'm a bit hard of hearing. Also they give a 1 year 12 thousand mile warranty and I bought a 48 thousand mile warranty, and I know batteries are a wear item.

They were very helpful, but the problem came after. I had to return my first rental car because I noticed a tire was losing air. Anybody who lives in the area knows there's been a ton of construction going on. No big deal, I called them and was able to bring it in, and they saw the tire was indeed losing air, documented things like they typically do when you return a car, saw no issues, so they replaced the rental for me and took the car back. I had no issues with the second rental, used it and returned it when I bought a new car. Cue a month or so later, and I get a letter in the mail essentially billing me for "damage done to the rental." To the tune of $1,400. It was for the first rental car that I had returned because a tire was losing air. Apparently, the steel wheel had been damaged and they had to replace it and the wheel. When I returned the car, the tire was not flat. Yes, it was losing air, but it was not completely flat and sitting on the steel wheel. The employee looked everything over and gave the okay. I'm assuming that they let the car sit after I returned it, and let the tire continue losing air, thus leading to the damage that I'm now being charged for. Shame on me for not taking photos of my own when I returned the car, like I've typically done in the past with rentals. I had a million other things on my mind with the accident, but I won't make that mistake again. Yeah it's a long review, because I'm really upset. Just don't rent from here.

Well, Sam, the Enterprise Agent at this Broomfield, CO location was stellar and definitely reminded me of why I'd rented from this company in the past. First off, the agents were scrambling the Saturday morning that I was scheduled to be picked up and start my Enterprise Rent-A-Car car rental. Apparently, they had just had a major recall on many of their car rentals, so they were short cars. Sam stepped up to the plate and sent someone out to pick me up immediately, after he'd learned that I'd been waiting for over an hour. When I arrived to their location, Sam was on the phone, handling a call to another customer very calm, courteously, and professionally. He then attended to me immediately after hanging up the phone. Since they were short vehicles, he upgraded my vehicle to the next class free of charge, and due to the inconvenience I was caused in being picked up late, he added a 15% discount! I was very impressed by Sam's professional, and excellent demeanor. Prior to speaking with Sam, I'd spoken to a female agent twice that morning who was very rude and actually hung up on me. (I won't name her in this review). I commended Sam for his wonderful customer service as he handled not only me, but various customers over the phone very calm, and politely.
