I am leaving three separate reviews for my hertz experience. First, a nice gentleman picked me up from my Tesla fix auto place to pick up my rent a car here. He was efficient and friendly. When I arrived Frederick/Freddy was the only staff member working that Saturday morning and he already had four other costumers waiting. Someone told me it had been 50mins to one hour wait already. Freddy was manning the phones, the return vehicles and the vehicles being rented out with no help. It was absolutely insanity. Even though his manager later phoned that they would be sending help, it was pointless since he needed help now. No matter how stressful it got, he continued to service everyone with a smile and lots of apologies for the wait. I rented a model y and boy this thing was beat up. He once again apologized about the vehicle and since it was the only one, he didn't have an alternative. We did a walk around and he showed me all the issues and had me sign. I greatly appreciated his wonderful customer service despite of the chaos he endured all morning. I truly hope this hertz revamps their office so it's more hospitable and better staffed. The inside was very Jenky and run down. Freddy and the driver who picked me up 5 stars. The office and location 2-3 stars if that. Please treat your staff and customers better.

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I left my car at the body shop and was assured that Hertz would take the car back and settle my rental. Turns out they were "too busy" and couldnt get the car in time, so they ended up picking it up a week later than expected (I dropped it off 11/5 but it wasn't picked up by Hertz till 11/12). Little did I know, I was CHARGED FOR THOSE EXTRA DAYS FOR ABOUT AN EXTRA $300. I called multiple times and gave many chances, but they have yet to credit my account. I even called TWICE and BOTH TIMES they said someone would call back. Leo and whoever else is in this office should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. I generally am patient and kind with these situations, but at this point I feel like I am being taken advantage of. NEVER AGAIN HERTZ. Enjoy the chargeback... Find some other suckers to deal with cause I'm done with this travesty of a company.

They DO NOT bring the cars to the front if the building...they are so lazy and unprofessional. CONDITION OF THE CAR It was dirty...the inside of the windshield has not been cleaned for so long...the car kept saying the oil needed to be changed...clearly it is not being maintained. There was NO WASHER FLUID AT ALL. Now...they put a 250.00 hold on my debit card. I returned the car Sunday at 830 a.m. by Tuesday afternoon...they still did not check the car in. I called and asked them to close the car out and stop holding my money hostage. He acted like I should have allowed this since he let me drop it off there. It is not my fault they are open only . Few hours. It does not give a person the right to hold my money hostage for 3 days. I prayed against this location. Horrible horrible customer service. The vehicle's interior was generally clean but could have benefited from more thorough cleaning. The car has a neutral scent, neither remarkably fresh nor unpleasant. Overall, car was not outstanding but acceptable for a car rental. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I chose to rent a car from them based on the after-hours phone service information, which states that they offer free drop-off and pick-up service within 3 miles of their location. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the representative that it was a one-person operation and they do not provide those services and not to rely on the information provided by the after-hours phone service. To make matters worse, the representative did not accompany us to show the rental car but simply handed us the key and directed us to find the vehicle ourselves. We were left wandering in the parking lot, searching for the specified car. There were no instructions provided on the car's operation, either. Their poor customer service and inconsistency in their information left me feeling frutrated and dissatisfied with my overall experience.

But recently they replaced all the staff. Now they are having problems, i get continuous harassing disrespectful insolent phone calls from this branch. Calling me like a collections agency demanding my car needs a service. Even after ive taken it in for service, ive driven the paper work to them, showed them the paperwork in person, then i still keep getting the harassing disrespectful insulent phone calls while im driving, they are harassing me, while im in business meetings or on my way to a meeting they harass me with these insolent calls. They are so disrespectful treating me like a bad employee asking me "where is the paper work..." . I have to tell them "I dont work for you". Figure out your own problems. Stop calling me. The car doesnt show up in their computers. They dont know how to log the service was done. They cant figure out what they are doing. They keep harassing me with the same question. Im sick of it. Even after i show them the paper work, then a different guy calls... "Where's the paper work". I had to report them to the police department for harassment. If they cant figure out their own jobs they will harass you for answers. They feel like they can call customers whenever they feel like it on their personal cell phones because they cant get the answers from their own computers. They act like a collections agency. Hertz is the worst and this location proves it…read more I rent tons of vehicles for my business and personal use. Rented a 7 passenger suv and when I arrived they told me they didn't have anything available. I asked why I wasn't given a courtesy call to let me know before I took an Uber there. They responded with the last costumer just extended 30min before I got there. So they had 30min to give me that courtesy call. They the. Said they "might" be able to have something at noon and I declined and asked them to cancel my reservation. They then proceeded to tell me they couldn't cancel and I would have to call customer service I looked at both of them and said not only did you not give me a courtesy call you want me to waste more time on hold with customer service? The guy said they would call. I walked out. I love my AMEX but it doesn't pay to be a Hertz Gold Member or even attempt to rent with Hertz. I called other Hertz locations in the area that claimed they had a 7 passenger suv on their site. Turns out all 3 locations have nothing even though they claim they do. Lesson learned will stick to Enterprise.

When I arrived, I was told there were no economy cars available and that I would need to pay extra for an upgrade to a mid-size sedan or SUV. Since that didn't work for me, I had my spouse pick me up so we could rent from Enterprise instead. I miss the times when car rentals would simply upgrade for free for convenience.
