I called and asked them to close the car out and stop holding my money hostage. He acted like I should have allowed this since he let me drop it off there. It is not my fault they are open only . Few hours. It does not give a person the right to hold my money hostage for 3 days. I prayed against this location. Horrible horrible customer service. The vehicle's interior was generally clean but could have benefited from more thorough cleaning. The car has a neutral scent, neither remarkably fresh nor unpleasant. Overall, car was not outstanding but acceptable for a car rental. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I chose to rent a car from them based on the after-hours phone service information, which states that they offer free drop-off and pick-up service within 3 miles of their location. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the representative that it was a one-person operation and they do not provide those services and not to rely on the information provided by the after-hours phone service. To make matters worse, the representative did not accompany us to show the rental car but simply handed us the key and directed us to find the vehicle ourselves. We were left wandering in the parking lot, searching for the specified car. There were no instructions provided on the car's operation, either. Their poor customer service and inconsistency in their information left me feeling frutrated and dissatisfied with my overall experience.

Realizing I would need a car, I immediately began looking for a rental. Since it was Sunday afternoon, many places were already closed. I found Stop-N-Go Rent-A-Car and booked a vehicle online after seeing their reasonable prices. I called to confirm the reservation, and Ben, the owner, verified everything and honored the quoted price. I arrived shortly before closing, feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but Ben was incredibly kind and accommodating from the start. I rented the car from Sunday, 4/19 through Saturday, 4/25. Throughout the entire process, Ben was honest, transparent, and genuinely helpful. He truly went above and beyond and was a lifesaver during a difficult week. When I returned the car with my daughter and planned to Uber home, Ben kindly offered to drive us instead. My daughter had recently fractured her foot and was limited in mobility, so his kindness meant even more. He has a very humble, fatherly presence and made a stressful situation much easier. I would highly recommend Stop-N-Go Rent-A-Car to anyone in need of a rental car, and I will be referring others to Ben. I'm very grateful for the kindness and exceptional service he showed me and my family. If I could give him ten stars, I would. Such a wonderful, ethical and amazing business. Thank you!

They even drove me back to the airport after the car return. Their rates are very competitive and often times better than the big companies. I definitely will be coming back to these guys every time I need a car rental in Southern CA.

I am writing to share my frustrating experience with U-Save Car & Truck Rental in Irvine…read more I rented a vehicle over a month ago while in California, and two days ago, I was hit with a $55.00 service fee for a $2.24 toll. When I originally rented the vehicle, I explicitly told the agent that I had an I-PASS. She never bothered to mention that my transponder wouldn't work on California toll roads, even though it works across multiple states when I take road trips. To make matters worse, when I called about the charge, the representative named Jose stated my name and email address had been entered incorrectly in their system from the start, proving the original agent wasn't thorough. Jose corrected it. His customer service was terrible. He claimed there was nothing they could do about the fee and refused to let me speak to a manager. Charging a $55 administrative fee on a $2.24 toll due to their staff's lack of communication, while offering zero resolution or management escalation, is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and rent elsewhere.

When I visited the dealership and checked out the 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback, I requested to take the car to my 3rd-party mechanic to get a second opinion and Jay had no issues whatsoever letting me test drive the car and drive it over to the mechanic by myself. I got the thumbs-up from my guy and he said everything looked great under the hood and I drove back to Karland Motors and we started talking numbers, Jay was very transparent during the process and called multiple credit unions trying to get me the best interest rate and lowest monthly payment...Since he knew this was my first car-buying experience he made sure I was explained everything thoroughly and gave me good advice along the way. Karland Motors doesn't tack on ANY unnecessary fees (besides the obvious sales tax, registration fee w/ DMV, $85 document fee, $29 title transfer, $60 emissions test). They don't push any hidden dealer warranty's, "mandatory" anti-theft device charges, market adjustment fees, prep fees, no B.S.....When I returned the next morning to pick up my car, it was washed, had a full tank of gas, oil changed and smogged!
