Needed to get a rental car for a couple of days while mine was in the shop. Very easy reservation process and pick up process. The return process was also very easy. All in all hustle free and if I find myself needing a rental again, would definitely come back to the location. On Sunday, 4/19 around 3 p.m., I was leaving home to run errands when four dashboard warning lights came on, including the check engine light. Realizing I would need a car, I immediately began looking for a rental. Since it was Sunday afternoon, many places were already closed. GF of Orange County was surprised by the lack of interest, professionalism, false advertising, zero accountability, or common decency, 0.1% customer service, nor did the employee, staff, or company even acknowledge their mistake, neither offer a solution, after I scheduled a pickup, and drop off time, allowed me to go all the way to their office, to be told that they supposedly didn't have any vehicles to rent out. Warn others so they won't experience the consequences of racism, false advertising as I did. I am black, however my money is green, and spends just like everyone else's. read more

Surprisingly great service. Found this place when I searched for a rental car on KAYAK. They had the best price for a compact car. I was skeptical about using an off-airport car rental company, but the experience was outstanding. We called after we collected our luggage and they told us how to get to the courtesy shuttle lot. We were picked up in just a few minutes after arrival at the lot. It was a short ride to the rental lot and the paperwork took just a few minutes. I have never got through paperwork that quickly with ANY other rental company. They didn't try to upsell me a bigger gas-hog car and the CDW is a flat rate of $13/day (unlike other companies that gouge you on the LDW, like Hertz & Enterprise). And, while I did the paperwork, someone ran out to the car to clean the windshield and make sure the car was ready to go. Got a nice Toyota Corolla that drove great and easily paired with my phone. Returning the car was just as easy. They dropped us off at the airport in the car we rented, which was great since we had several big, heavy bags and didn't have to transfer them into a second vehicle. Smooth service from beginning to end! I didn't have a car reservation so I just went to the front of the line and asked for the smallest & least expensive car. He made. Couple of phone calls and before I knew it, a shuttle with a very nice driver picked me up and took me about 6 minutes offsite. The transaction was painless! When I was returning home, I dropped my key off and the shuttled me to the airport. No complaints about my car; it was perfect for my needs. The best part was I didn't have struggle with my 2 heavy bags from the airport rental site to my terminal- the furthest one away-because the gentleman dropped me off right on front of my airline. This car rental shop is located about 5 min from the SNA airport but they provide you with a free shuttle to and from. Immensely cheaper rates than the car rental shops at the airport so it's worth it. Would definitely come back again next time in the area. read more

They offered the most competitive rates compared to the rental car agencies at SNA. They picked me up from the airport, and it was a short 3 min drive to the office. Girls weekend started with picking up a yellow mustang convertible from Stop and Go. The rental process was smooth and the check in was quick and easy. The gentlemen were polite and fast. I will be honest when I say at first glace I was a bit worried about the spot, but reading reviews killed that concern for sure. The price was so good that i honestly thought it was a scam at first. Its located 5 minutes away from the airport (John Wayne), which was perfect for us dropping off the car. We like flying out of said airport because of less traffic while still providing direct flights. The spot is clean its attached to an industrial area and is a smaller building with a restroom and a ton of cars. The car was exactly what I want out of a rental. I think its an older rental, but for me I am all about a cheaper rental experience over a costly experience. It came with dings and dents, but ran perfectly and had super low gas consumption. The guy was super nice, drove us straight to the airport and I left happy overall. I would recommend these guys for sure and Plan on using them on our next trip. read more

So good to know that this alternative to "Big Corp" exists. Vey nice people, friendly and of course much more affordable compared to the corporate guys. If you are either traveling or local rental this is a great option in OC. Cars are clean and they don't stink with Fabreze to give you headache. It is available, however, upon request. I rented a car from Stop-N-Go for the first time last month (May 2019). The car worked fine, the employees were nice, and the price was by far the best on the market. I took off one star for two reasons. First, the car had unrepaired body damage. The front and rear bumper covers had gaps between them and the body of the car. I was nervous about being charged for this, but the employee assured me I would not be charged (and I was not charged). I understand that offering the lowest price may require measures like this, but it still worried me. Second, the paperwork I signed when picking up the car gave different terms of service from what I had read when making the reservation online. The summary sheet that I signed said no early drop offs, and the damage report sheet that I signed said I would be charged per mile after X miles (I forget how many, but it was a lot less than what the website had said). I was told that the paperwork was old when I asked about the no early returns part. None of this ended up being a problem (I dropped off the car early without a problem, and I was not charged extra for miles). So, overall the experience was fine. And maybe minor things like this would not bother some people. And I understand that this may be why the price is so good. But I didn't feel at ease until I had turned the car in and was not charged for extra things. read more

It isn't busy here which is a plus . The person who attended me was fine no complaints it's literally a stop and go place . I'd rather go to another car place than here the price this pretty much the same as other spots but the cars here are much older not new like the other place and the car I got was dirty there was food stuff stuck in cracks . I found this place through kayak. They were much less expensive than nationally known names. I was impressed by Yelp reviews, so made a reservation less than 48 hrs before I needed the car. As another reviewer stated, the website for reservations is very basic. They far exceeded my expectations by picking us up within a few minutes of our call. The office is within minutes and the car return was simple. The ride back to airport was immediate. Just check out their operating hours before you book, they do close fairly early. Had 2 terrible experiences at another car rental chain located inside the SNA garage and was determined to find a car rental facility with a shuttle and close location. Found Stop N Go online and they had extremely reasonable rates, booking was easy, the van came within minutes of calling, and the guys running the place were nice, quick to get us on our way, and quick to get us back to the airport when we dropped off the car. They even drove us over to the terminal in our rental car so we didn't have to transfer all of our bags, stroller, car seat, etc. I will absolutely rent with them for all future OC visits! read more
