We will keep this one short and sweet. Have used this place four times and every time it was like butter on a pancake nice and smooth. The owner is awesome and goes out of his way to make life as easy as possible. Every time I have used them they start you on a full tank and ask that it comes back the same way but doesn't everyone. I just like the fact it starts at full. Used it twice for a grad knight to universal studios from Anaheim, and use less than a tank of gas for the round-trip. To take a group of kids to their eighth grade promotion dinner. and once we use them to take a mission trip to Mexico. So if you are looking for intercountry travel, I'm supposing they will route to you. read more

I rented a 15 person Ford Transit for a church group. They're located in a small office space in Irvine. After booking/paying on their website, they called us to confirm details and we came around our pick up time. After 15 minutes of paperwork/chatting the keys were ours and we were out. No random or ridiculous fees, the process was really easy. I'd highly recommend these guys. They seem to be a small family owned business, not a large bureaucratic company so communication with them was really easy. If I ever need another van rental in the future I'll be sure to go to them. read more

I rented out a 15-person van for a fairly long trip. I received the van in excellent condition, inside and out. No damages, no mechanical issues, great interior and surprisingly economical gas mileage. Ben is an incredibly friendly and cheerful gentleman. He explained all the details in a way that I could understand and he answered all of my questions with a smile on his face. Before returning the van, I topped off the gas tank and took it to a hand car wash to be vacuumed and cleaned. When Ben came to inspect the vehicle, he commented on the condition I brought it in and thanked me sincerely for taking such great care of it. He is a true man of character and I look forward to renting from him again. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking to rent a van! read more

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. very easy and convenient. My favorite part? They don't take a deposit if you book online with them. They just take a credit or DEBIT card just in case. Yes you pay credit card online and can use a debit card for them to file. Also I should mention I'm a local, so they don't add extra like other nearby cars. Will def be renting again. Forgot to mention it includes Unlimited miles ;) read more

Outstanding customer service, nice van and great price! My family and I (from New Orleans) decided to take a family vacation to CA and rented their van in July 2015 for a party of 11. We used the vehicle to travel between San Diego and Los Angeles. Sherry was the representative who helped us with our reservation. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall, the experience was excellent. Two years later, we decided to do another family vacation to the west coast, this time spending time in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, with two additional people, totaling 13 for 10 days! :). I contacted Sherry to assist with my reservation. Again, her customer service level was outstanding and the price was very good. The pick-up and drop-off process was easy and the new Ford van was very comfortable for my family. We will definitely keep American Rent A Van in our phone book (digital) for our next trip to CA. Thanks Sherry for your service!! read more
