Do not rent from here. The cars they provide are not good quality cars. Received a rental from here and spent a whole day getting new tires for their car. In addition, to being charged a tow fee because they sent me on the highway with two rusted-out tires. Also, they kept promising a manager was going to reach out and they never did. Reserved a midsize via Expedia and when I arrived to pick up (oct 9) the Hertz rep said they didn't have any cars except for full size or SUV and I would have to pay $50 more per day. There were others waiting and we all got the same treatment. The Hertz rep said they didn't honor third party bookings so options were take the higher rate or nothing. I had just arrived by Uber and was going away for weekend so didn't have any choice. When asked if other Hertz close by may have cars he told us it's Saturday and nobody would drop other cars off from other locations. He said Expedia was only interested in the booking not whether they had the cars and said we should have booked directly with Hertz I contacted Expedia and they said they advertise what cars Hertz say are available. They tried to help but in the end I paid double the amount on reservation. Be the last time I use Hertz. It's a great scam ...say you have cars available then force people into more expensive cars when they get there. Never again! read more

Hertz should shut this location down. it is not at all representative of the Hertz brand or service I am accustomed to at airport locations. The office staff (including the Manager) is incompetent. The vehicles are subpar. The vehicles are not well maintained and they do not clean the vehicles properly before giving them to customers. There has been more than one occasion when I have reserved vehicles only to arrive there and be told they have no vehicles at all. They offer no apologies or solutions other than for you to go and call Customer No Service. The location Manager (the young lady who sits up front) is the worst! Who thought it was a good idea to make her a Manager? Please send her back through every Management training class you offer. She is so unprofessional. She often talks on personal calls via FaceTime with her child while she has a customer at her desk. Unacceptable Hertz. On one occasion while there another female worker was eating a full plate of hot wings and fries while serving customers at the inside window. The office is disgustingly filthy. The place was dirty. Borderline filthy and Ryan was a dick to every customer that walked in. I can tell he hates his job. The other guy and the black lady were much more hospitable. I rented a car from this facility for pick up the day before we were to leave for vacation. My scheduled time was12 noon, I got there at 11:40 am. Jessica, the woman who sits in the 1st desk, told me they have no cars left. I was angry and asked how could that be with a reservation. She said they called me to tell me, I told her no one called to inform me. I asked if she could help me find a car at another location, she told me no. I asked how does it work that you messed up my vacation, then you give me a nasty attitude. I asked that she call the Manger. She said I am the manager. I asked that she calls the store owner, she said I am the owner. I said you can't be. I left to get my phone to record the craziness and they walked to the back to avoid being recorded and told me they were calling the police. After they left, I stopped recording, sat in a chair and called the 1-800 Hertz phone number. The 2 women came back and aggressively told me to get out. I said no, I am waiting for the police. I stayed there until the police arrived and they told me they get a call from this location weekly. They told me it was a problem location and that shouldn't have rented from them. I honestly didn't know. So my share with you is to ride a bicycle before renting from this place. read more

Please save yourself the trouble & hassle of this place. It's disgusting as soon as you walk in. Female employee is miserable, rude, hates her job, Cheetos, Doritos, sprite, you name it, all over her desk. Unorganized and will make you wait while she cleans up her desk before she will speak to you. Poor communication. Wasn't my choice to even use them to begin with- my car is under warranty and the dealership had no loaner vehicles. Dealership sent me here & it's been a nightmare ever since. Got online and reserved a car from Hertz. Got a confirmation email. When I went to pick up the car I was told there were no cars available. When I confirmed I had a reservation and confirmation number they basically told me that this means nothing. They said they did have SUVs available but I would have to pay the higher rate- even though my confirmation clearly stated that my rate was guaranteed. Horrible customer service. We had to wait about 5 minutes for anyone to show up and help us pick up our rental that we reserved weeks in advance and they told us they gave it away because we showed up 1.5 hours past our reservation time. I called 2 hours before reservation time to check if it was ready and they said it won't be ready until noon (our reservation time), so they knew we were coming. They never informed us of their "general managers" rule that if we aren't there within 30 minutes of the reservation time they'd give our car away. They had no compassion. They were flat out rude. I should have checked Yelp first, I guess. I am yet another victim of the bait-and-switch tactic that this location seems to have been pulling for years. I booked a mid-size sedan from this location online at hertz.com (not even a third party vendor such as kayak or expedia), and when I arrived, they told me they were sold out of the class of car I booked. Oh, but they have plenty of SUVs at twice the rate. Hertz was already a last resort as every other rental agency seemed to be sold out of *all* vehicles, but this experience cemented my decision to make Hertz the absolute LAST place I look when I need to rent a vehicle. read more

SCAM ALERT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT use these guys. I want to save you the heartache from seeing your bill double. Basically you will pay double whatever they quote you at the beginning. They will charge whatever they can make stick at the end. Upgrade fees. Late fees. Cleaning fees. They will lie to your face and say that they remember you and you agreed to pay for the extra costs. It's the middle of a pandemic and I was apparently happy to pay about 1000 dollars in fees. These people are scam artists and they will do whatever they can to steal from you. Looks like this is very common with them looking at the reviews. If you need a car through insurance, PLEASE either look at a different Hertz or better yet go to Enterprise. Got there at 5 and the manager said he couldn't help me because they were short staffed and needed to close and go home. Said to come first thing in the morning said to get there at 7:50 building wasn't open until 8:15. They couldn't find my reservation either and they were so inconsiderate about my time. read more

I've never had any previous issues within the last few years that I have been renting from this location until today. I booked a rental the day before I picked it up. When I went on Tuesday to pick up my rental everything was fine. Less than 20 minutes later the oil change indicator turns on. Wednesday morning I went into the location and asked if I could change the car out because I'm not trusting the car with the way that it's driving. It's jerking while driving. When I went to this location Wednesday morning I was told that I would have to pay an upgrade fee to change the car out because they couldn't just trade the car out because their system shows that the car just had an oil change. The representative did not attempt to assist me with solving the issue. I was left to call around to different locations to see who could issue me a new rental. Not to mention my refund would not hit my account for another few weeks. This will be the last time I rent a car from this location. read more

Yelp should have an option for zero stars because that's how I would rate this hertz location. They don't answer the phone and when they do, they put you on hold for 12 minutes. When I'm on hold that long, I hang up. Maybe they need to hire more staff. read more

So I will not be renting here anymore. The last two times I have been has been nothing but frustrating! The first time was understandable but very inconvenient however the second time just last week really did it for me. I walk in confidently knowing I have everything needed to rent after going through last time only to be stopped when I handed my card, the manager (lightskinned lady with a gap) automatically stops the man processing and says we dont accept those cards now im baffled because again this is my second time within a two month timeframe and i used the same card. Thats how I was able to acttually rent last time! She didnt believe me and then goes to ask who I dealt with, I pulled up the receipt and asked The man at the counter to confirm what the last four on my card says compared to the receipt in my email and told her they were the same people who serviced me last time. She claims they changed the rule 6 months ago even though the receipt is less than two months old. They didnt rent me a car and as I was walking out, otp with my fiance she jumps in my conversation and tells me I dont have to rent there. If you ever need a vehicle in the Atlanta Area beware of Hertz . I contacted several of them in the Duluth/Laweranceville Area and got poor customer service. When I finally called the Duluth Hertz on Satellite Blvd I was told my vehicle would be sanitized, cleaned, and ready. When I got the vehicle it was dirty, the agent did not do a walk around and the tires looked like they were balling. Because I needed the vehicle I accepted because there being no Cargo Van's in the area and this one looking the best out of all there vans. The vehicle was give to me with a quarter tank of gas which I was told to bring it back at, but if I returned it with a full tank they would be cool with that. So when I returned it it was under a quarter of a tank so I was cool with being charged $10 a gallon fee because I was rushing to get to the airport. I made a mistake and misjudged traffic in Atlanta because it being Saturday. My drop off was at 12pm and I had questions before leaving. When I showed up it was like a circus with several patrons out side the building waiting to pickup reservations at 12pm waiting 30 to 45 mins to be serviced. The staff locked them outside while dealing with 3 other patrons inside with only 1 person reservating cars. There were two employees at first when I showed up but the lady left 6 patron wait for vehicles while her coworker was taking rentals in the store. My concern was that they billed my card $235 on a $25 a day rental. I wanted to make sure they did bill me for a full tank of gas when they only needed to add a gallon. The staff was unprofessional and did not care at all about the patrons. One employee had a dog in the store that was hoping in and out of cars when the employee rented the vehicles. Yet Hertz claims the cars are sanitized and cleaned. The store is horrible. Please tell him to keep the dog out of the car when cleaning. NIGHTMARE! Hertz you need to do better job training and maintaining your vehicles. Never had this problem at Enterprise. I see why all the Enterprise Car Rentals in the area didnt have many vehicles. Wish they would had a cargo van because I definitely would have gone there . read more
