I was happy to see it wasn't super IPA heavy (a problem at some places). They had a wide variety of options including a sour, wheat, pale ale, and a few pilsner's (amongst others). I got a 6-beer flight. Mango Sour: I like sours so I got it on a lark. This one leaned more into the 'mango' than 'sour'. Oh well; not my style but if you like mango you'd love it. Black Gold (nitro stout) favorite of the lineup! Also available in a non-nitro style. Steenie Reserve V2: Very cider-like. Easy sipping beer for a hot day. Donal (farmhouse): Really good! Complex and flavorful. Malcom (dunkle): Ok. I got it in nitro version. Lost gravity (blond): Pretty good. Overall, I had a quiet, laid-back experience. Good service too. I'd return.

On arrival at the restaurant at 11,30, we were informed that the garden did not open until 1200 noon but, if we wished, we could sit at the bar and have a drink until the garden tables were open. This sounded reasonable as we could choose our meals from the menu whilst having a drink, so we opted for this and moved to the bar. We waited for someone to serve us - and waited! After 20 minutes -and being vert obviously ignored by the waitstaff who were interacting with a couple who had dined at the bar and were leaving - so we left for another venue with the clear impression that our custom was not werlcome. Having been in the hospitality business locally. I find this behavior inexcusable and I hope that this family business will take steps to correct and avoid what has left an impression of deliberate rudeness to their customers.

Try to get there during happy hour deals for appetizers because it cuts the price substantially. Had the burger slider and avocado egg roll appetizers. The burgers were very good, and when I asked for some mayo to go with the burgers the server brought it promptly. They don't give you quite enough dipping sauce for the avocado rolls, so go ahead and ask for them to give you two containers of dip right from the start. The french fries were tasty but a little bit overdone. Also got the cheeseburger which was very tasty came on a nice brioche bun. The only complaint was that I think the food took a little too long to come out. Nothing terrible but probably about 5 minutes longer than I think it should have for relatively simple bar food. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion.
