We attended a benefit here and the bartenders at one of the bars were less than friendly, which is a shame in the service industry. We came back again for a birthday event and had a blast. The staff seemed happier to be there than our first go. We bowled ( small bowling alley), played darts and shot some pool. The venue is decent sized and broken up into a restaurant area and what I'll call an entertainment area with bowling, pool tables, stage for band, darts, pop a shot, etc. The food we had was buffet style tacos and pizza all was delicious. My husband and I were very satisfied.

Possibly the worst, most rude service I've ever experienced. The restaurant was not crowded and our party of 8 placed an order for drinks, Apps & dinner. After 25 minutes we did not even get our waters. When one of the women in our party approached the manager asking "what's going on" the manager's reply was "feel free to leave". Surrounded by 5 employees also doing nothing. When questioning her reply her response was to call the police on us and continue to scream. Clearly not cut out to manage anyone. By far the most mis-managed establishment I've ever been in.

Fun place. There was a lot to do - we bowled, played pool and the giant connect 4. The band was a lot of fun, we stayed and danced. Food was delicious too!

Drove past a few times since it opened figure I would check it out. The inside is nice good amount of TVs nice bar area and sitting area with tables and booths. Family friendly for sure. Sat down at the bar my usual go to bartender came up was nice grabbed drinks after a few minutes. The couple next to us asked about what an item was on the menu and the bartender did not know what it was and how to explain it to them. That was a red flag for us. You gotta know your menu and the couple ended up not getting it because the bartender couldn't sell it to them. I Ordered the Camacho nachos "large" size which was not large at all and honestly not worth $16.99. They were good but I could get better bigger nachos cheaper somewhere else. The southwest wrap $12.79 was good they put the sauce in the side which I didn't mind and the chips are a great side. They have other side options for upgrade for $2 or more. The staff were friendly and we would go back to give it another try.

Always loved Hero's West's food. The wings are awesome especially on Wednesdays where they donate money to veterans and are 70 cents each.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The food is honestly the best thing about this spot; the vibes aren't quite right for a special date night, but might be perfect for a birthday party or girls night out and service can either be hit or miss. If you come here, definitely make a night of it in downtown Lemont - there's lots to explore, whether for a nightcap or dessert after Barrel & Vine to turn it into a night.

I am writing this review to bring an on-site management issue to the attention of WeEat Hospitality…read moreGroup corporate leadership. Attempts to reach corporate through their listed executive emails bounced back as undeliverable. On June 21 around 2pm, I experienced highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from on-site managers, Meghan & Javier. Upon arrival, I was referred to the bar area where a member of staff took my to-go order which consisted of an appetizer and two desserts (slices of cake ) from your menu. Five minutes after placing my order, the young lady returned and said she was informed that the restaurant, despite having it on the menu presented to me, no longer offers cake slices to go, but if I dined in, I would be able to order the cake. I asked to speak with the manager. "Meghan" approached and said that, despite the false advertising on the menu, we could not order the normal size cake to go but a smaller version was available. When asked to see the menu reflecting said portion and pricing, it was not available. I then asked if there was someone else who could help. After waiting 10 minutes, manager "Javier" approached, not introducing himself, and spoke with an aura of disrespect, simply stating that it isn't necessary for the restaurant to advertise the smaller cake slice or price, and the only way we would be able to order is if we were to dine-in. When I offered for myself and my daughter to dine in at the bar with the order we originally placed to go (baked goat cheese with extra crostini, chocolate cake and carrot cake), we were told that was insufficient and that a "full tab" would be needed. In all of my dining experience, I have never been treated with such contempt, especially from management. Instead of working to resolve a standard issue or offering some sort of solution , the manager simply walked away without any resolve. This behavior is completely out of line with standard hospitality practices. I have submitted a formal report through WeEat website intake form on June 30 and am waiting for a prompt response from a regional director or HR representative to resolve this matter. I hope that in the future you will address these issues and improve the service at Goat and Vine as treating patrons on this level should not be taken lightly.

She was so sweet, service with a smile. We started with a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. Hubby had tonight's special drink, a Gold Rush. I had the sister to a Gold Rush, a Bees Knees. It's just a matter of bourbon vs gin. Both are refreshing cocktails made with honey and lemon. We shared the Spanish octopus to begin, a perfectly grilled octopus tentacle in a romesco sauce topped with pico de gallo and toasted almonds. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A generous portion and so tender. Hubby had the Saturday night special, the smoked prime rib. It came with grilled vegetables and truffle fries. He had this speciality last time. This time it was so fatty (see photo). I had the grouper puttanesca with couscous. I love grouper but I felt it was salty. With capers and anchovy, the fish didn't need salt as these things bring salt to the dish. However, our entrees were generous in size and tasty. We definitely like this restaurant. They have a loyalty program, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice bar area and a Vegas-style gaming room. Phoenix Kitchen even nixed using seed oil at their restaurant. We did miss out on the complimentary house-made limoncello this time. What's up with that?!

For food, we started with the Baked Feta. This came with four warm pieces of bread to pair with the warm feta and sauce.
