My hubby like the more traditional landscape scenes and she has plenty of that too and all things in between. If I had a house, walls and money I would pretty much empty her store. Opening our first Salon, we decided to go with Standish. On prior occasions, we had used them for…read morebooth rental equipment and were happy with the quality. We decided to dig deeper. In the end, we bought 3 stations, 3 chairs, 2 danbury bowls, sanitizers, fridge, accessories and a color bar. The Saxton color bar was a hand made unit and took a while to complete...made in USA on demand. However, it was so worth the wait. The look and function of our Salon (Bleach Hair Studio) was really fleshed out by the equipment. Could not be happier with our purchases. They even worked with us to ensure that every item we selected could be plumbed in the manner we chose. Ergonomics dictated that we bring plumbing in from the floor to allow for standing behind the shampoo bowls. The Saxton was also plumbed from the floor and the manufacturer made a pass through to accommodate this as well. The staff at Standish stand behind their products and were nothing short of helpful while we were going through our build-out phase. Ryein was our goto man and guru in all things related to Salon furnishings. He was responsive and very accommodating to our needs. Hannah also stepped up to the plate when he was out of office. What a team!

Great customer service and timely delivery to Maryland…read more I ordered five chairs, a reception desk, shampoo bowls and shampoo chairs for my new salon. The Veronica chairs I ordered were out of stock till about May so I received an email asking if I wanted to wait for them, order a diff color or a diff chair, I decided to order the dukes instead. There was a price difference of 200$ that they refunded. I misunderstood the shipping time and needed the bowls earlier. Through the email I asked if I could get the sinks expedited. Standish was very kind in expediting my sinks without an extra charge. So.. Lol another thing was that my purchase was not under the amount they wanted to receive 15% off.. But they were so kind to still give me 15% on my items! And I got free shipping!! When I received my freight for the chairs and desk, the total for shipping was over 500$! And I got that for free! I have yet to assemble my purchases.. I think I'll do that this week. From the way the company is run and how the website is made, I'm really excited to see how the chairs and desk will add to the salon. Prices are unbeatable! And the look is much more stylish than any other items around the same price. I will update my review with pics and quality of the items later but so far so good.

For this particular story/collection...they had items like the most amazing beautifully scented soaps... my FAV was the Spanish Anise Goat Milk Soap...so fragrant and yummy! On Friday, November 11th, I flew to Texas from LA just to attend their sneak preview that happened at Midnight and it was just incredible!!! I thought they might get a few people in for this opening...well to my surprise there were like 50-60 people there shopping until 2:45am! I was also surprised to learn how many people from the LA area go to Smithville on a regular basis for weekends away etc. This sweet and amazing place, Midnight Monkey Mercantile, is located in a recently renovated brick building, built circa 1910 on historic 2nd street in quaint, charming Smithville, Texas! Which is also the home of the chick-flick favorite, HOPE FLOATS!! If you have a chance, Go Visit... you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately, the day time experience with Victoria has been disappointing- she rarely greats customers warmly (She always comes from the back, she is rarely on the sales floor when I have come in) or offers assistance, which makes visits feel unwelcome. In contrast, the night shift team- Angela, Genesis, Kenya & Mariesha are exceptional. These four ladies are consistently kind, knowledgeable & radiate positively with their warm smiles & helpful attitude. They truly elevate the shopping experience & deserve recognition for their outstanding service. While I appreciate the efforts of the team overall, I believe Victoria- who identified herself as the store Mgr- Could benefit from some additional training in customer service & communication to ensure interactions are consistently professional & welcoming. On a positive note, I'd like to commend the four outstanding women al( Angela, Genesis, Kenya, & Mariesha) who go above & beyond in assisting customers.
