I took my parents here because they are fans of the show and always watch it together…read more We drove all the way from Houston to College Station, thinking that the store was WAY bigger than what it actually was. After staying a few minutes and getting a few shirts, there was literally nothing else to do. So we went to a little farmers market after and went back to Houston. At least now they can say they went!

"Howdy! And welcome to the Texas Bucket List."…read more On a recent day trip to College Station, one of the things I wanted to do was visit the TBL Store and Studio because I am a huge fan of this show! Texas isn't just honky tonks and BBQ (though our BBQ is da best!); we are an incredibly diverse state and this show really does a great job of highlighting that. I'm a life long Texan, but I've learned about so many cool and quirky places around the state from watching this show. The store offers all sorts of Texas related items. Mugs, cutting boards, t-shirts, etc. You can find a lot of cute TX themed items. They also sell merchandise of places they have featured on the show. One of my favorite merchandise items was from El Arroyo in Austin (for those who don't know, El Arroyo is famous for their snarky marquee messages). They had funny puzzles, mugs, stickers, etc. We probably stood there for a good 5 minutes just reading all of the funny messages. The young lady that was working was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately Shane (the host) and his wife weren't there, but there was a life size cardboard cut out of him that you could take a picture with lol. The TBL Hummers were parked out front which was cool to see. If you're a fan of the show or are looking for TX themed merchandise, this is a great little store to visit.

It's been five years since the last review, so it's time for an update with some photos. One thing…read morethat makes this store interesting is the fact that it is located within an old home with wooden floors where the kitchen and the bedrooms stage all the products. One thing to be aware of before you come here is that this is not a resale shop or a thrift store. Everything here is new. You'll find shoes, candles, jewelry, figurines, kitchen items, linens, women's clothing, body products, and numerous gift ideas. It's a great place to check out, but everything is at full retail. The photos and videos below give you a better idea of what you'll find here.

A very unique little shop in an unexpected little town. This is an old house turned into a gift…read moreshop and each room is organized and decorated accordingly. Even the cute older kitchen had it's own theme! As well as the bathroom, which was covered with all the different scents made by poo pourri. All types of merchandise are offered like purses, jewelry, candles, clothes, kitchen items, tons of accessories, all unique in their own way. One of my favorites were the ReWined candles (reused wine bottles turned into scented candles that smell like wine). As well as the Vinrella, which is an umbrella that looks like a wine bottle when not open. If you happen to be in or around Giddings, this is a real treat and a great place to find unique gifts.
