They seem to be picking up the slack for their failing bbq business next door. I've reached out to the owners of the bbq spot before about the employe they had that felt it was appropriate to be disrespectful to my 3 year old. I almost lost my cool with him. Fat goofy ass older white guy. Not the really old white guy he's always been pretty cool. I haven't stopped for the bbq in over a year. I used to stop by here 4 times a month.

Texas isn't just honky tonks and BBQ (though our BBQ is da best!); we are an incredibly diverse state and this show really does a great job of highlighting that. I'm a life long Texan, but I've learned about so many cool and quirky places around the state from watching this show. The store offers all sorts of Texas related items. Mugs, cutting boards, t-shirts, etc. You can find a lot of cute TX themed items. They also sell merchandise of places they have featured on the show. One of my favorite merchandise items was from El Arroyo in Austin (for those who don't know, El Arroyo is famous for their snarky marquee messages). They had funny puzzles, mugs, stickers, etc. We probably stood there for a good 5 minutes just reading all of the funny messages. The young lady that was working was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately Shane (the host) and his wife weren't there, but there was a life size cardboard cut out of him that you could take a picture with lol. The TBL Hummers were parked out front which was cool to see. If you're a fan of the show or are looking for TX themed merchandise, this is a great little store to visit.
