Several months back, Ben fixed a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. At that time he suggested replacing all the old PVC with new PEX piping. Ben Lewis was fabulous! We had a leak at our water meter and of course the city said it was our responsibility to fix as it was inside the meter towards the house. The city shut off our water and we called Ben at Heritage plumbing. He answered immediately and said he would be over as soon as he finished the job he was on. I called Ben after finding him on Yelp, and he came out to investigate a random leak that appeared in our front yard. It turned out it was our main line leaking after he dug and saw that our pvc pipe was damaged by nearby tree roots and the pipe adapters were breaking due to high water pressure. He ultimately concluded our old pvc pipe needed to be replaced with a new copper pipe, so we agreed to a fair price, and immediately Ben and his crew installed it the next day. After going through so many plumbers on our remodel that were super expensive, or didn't show up or we had to pay someone else to repair what they did, I cannot tell you how awesome it was to find Benjamin!! My husband called them to come out and look to see what was leaking in my house due to water marks on the floor. Explained that we will be doing an insurance claim and the company no problem working with us. Set an appointment for him to come out and look at the leak. He didn't call us on our appointment date and time so we called and he neglected to store our number on his phone therefore he said he figured we'll call him sooner or later ( not even being considerate of our time and work schedule). Set another appointment for the next day just for him to tell us he doesn't deal with insurance claims. What kind of company is this?! Very poor customer service! read more
