I called the company and Aron came out same day. the issue was with washing machine draining properly. Aron snaked it out and said the line was clear. He put water through the hose but didn't do a rinse cycle with washer to see if there was backflow. Problem not resolved and they would not come out without another 159 and told them to stand behind their work. They said it could be clear for one day or 5 yrs..refused to make me happy. therefore 1 star...customer service was not there so don't bother wasting your $ here. Unfortunately we could get not get good service with this company, When we called and told what needed to be fixed , we told them exactly what the problem was so they would be prepaid. The technician came out and stated he did the work but it was still leaking and cannot fix it. Unless we paid another $300 on top of the $285. This was simply to replace a faucet and two water lines, the screw on type. We had the Faucet. We told them forget it we will call someone else to do the simple job. We paid $$285 for nothing. Another plumbing company came out and charged $85 to do it. Took less then 30 mins. Lost our business of over 5 years after we called and they stood behind the plumbers billing. read more

Based on there online reviews I was expecting a higher level of service and better experience from ABC plumbing. Unfortunately that is not the case. I contacted ABC for issue with my water heater and they said they would send someone out to provide me a FREE estimate. The tech came out and said "that it would take too long for him to look at my water heater and that he had other calls that he had to get to that day. That I should call a different plumbing company." I could not believe what I was hearing from the tech but assumed that ABC plumbing had probably overbooked him or his was simply following ABC plumbing's instructions and directives. Unfortunately that was not ideal for me as the homeowner with a broken water heater. I was left with a broken water and no estimate to repair. Now weeks later ABC plumbing is sending me a bill?!?! After they promised a free estimate. They never provided me any contract verbally or in writing. They said the estimate would be FREE. Absolutely hands down the best plumbing co I have found in years. I manage a coupe small apartment buildings and on multiple times they have come and saved the day. They take the time to locate the problem and resolve it quickly. I've had overhead leaks the middle of the night, sewer lines backing up into the units, day or night they get the job done and quickly. I've tried calling other 24/7 plumbers and they just plain don't answer or call back in the morning. We had a clog in our plumbing with water backing up into the bathtub. Roto Rooter came out and told us that we don't have a cleanout pipe on the main line, and that they would have to install one for a total cost of $1100. ABC plumbing came out and confirmed that we didn't have a cleanout line, but was able to snake the line through the toilet in the bathroom and solve the problem for just $300. Wow! I was so concentrated on my plumbing issues last time that I didn't even notice that ABC also does heating and air condiitioning. Somehow I'd gone for several years in my Sacramento home without realizing that an annual cleaning is a very very good idea! A quick call to ABC on Monday resulted in an appointment for Tuesday morning. Again, I received an advance call to inform me of their ETA. The work was quick and thorough--, and after the guy had hosed off my AC fan in the back yard, he even took the time to roll up that pesky hose that had gotten all tangled for me. So you can call me a "big fan" of ABC's heating/airconditioning services as well as their plumbing. An excellent company to do business with. The issue was faucets weren't getting enough hot water & my bath took nearly an hour in a half to fill up! But I stuck with them, they offered to come out the same day as I called but I requested the next morning. Gary called 30 minutes before showing up as I discussed when making the appointment. Just had my water softener installed. The hourly rate was the same, however the technician took 30 minutes to drive back and get parts. Then wanted an extra 200 dollars for two flex lines that cost 7.97 each at home depot. I said that I would not pay it and they lowered the parts costs slightly. When I asked for a receipt for the parts, I was informed that they would not provide that. This company has a hugh mark up on parts. Shop around and go with a more reputable company. Came in to my Aunt's for a simple toilet "clog", installed new toilet . 5 minutes after they left , Aunt tries the toilet, it backs up. They come back and say "you have big problems. We are going to have to drill through your foundation to fix this. Take out a loan. It is going to be ~ $10,000". Aunt calls two other places for second opinions. First one finds toothpaste container stuffed into toilet; removes it. Toilet works fine, after several months. Nice try! read more

ABC is the BEST service I have ever used in the 15 years I have lived in my vintage home.They make it clear that you have to pay $85.00 up front for that first hour whether it takes an hour or not. Larry from ABC was highly recommended by another plumber, but never showed up. I was given a four-hour window and waited dutifully, working in the backyard. But while the office never mentioned it, apparently Larry won't come unless he speaks to you on the phone to confirm you are there. Missed two calls while at work in my garden, waiting for him to show up. On his second call he said he'd try again later and I tried calling him back twice, but he didn't bother responding. Altogether waited 8 hours with no result. Businesses please note - in the modern world many people never pick up the phone unless you specifically tell them you are calling... Big waste of time, will let my plumber friend know he shouldn't be recommending Larry so highly. read more

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY. I have never used a less professional or lower quality company. We booked ABC plumbing to repair/replace two outdoor drainage pipes. In completing this job they cut our internet and 4 sprinkler lines. Well this was annoying however the part that I find unacceptable is the fact that they did not tell us any of these mistakes and simply tried to cover them up. If they had told me they had cut the internet I could have had it fixed a day earlier. They knew that the sprinkler lines were active(they later said they saw water rushing out of them when they cut them) and simply decided to rebury the cut lines that were leaking water leading to flooding on the side of my house. We ended up having to spend more then then 4 full days and multiple trips to the store re digging up and repairing all the lines ourselves ( when i called their 24hr line to have them come fix it they never called back). Spent weaks arguing with them over the phone, they would not let me speak to a manager above the person I was speaking to. My tenant had a problem with their hot water heater. I called ABC plumbing and spoke to dispatcher Mason. Mason said a technician would check it out and provide me with an estimate. Later Mason called me and said he called my tenant and left a message in order to set up a service appointment. My tenant called me 3 days later and said they never received a message. I spoke to Mason who re-contacted my tenant and arranged a service call. The technician checked the water heater and called me. He stated he conducted a voltage check and said the heater was fine, but it was not getting the proper voltage. He stated the problem was electrical, and that I wold need to contact an electrician. I received a follow up call from Mason who informed that I was being charged $106.00 for the service call. Needless to say, I was not happy. Had I been advised up front that the service call would cost me $106.00, I would have shopped elsewhere. read more

I know with all the 5 stars people are thinking this is the company writing. This review should have happened 10 months ago when they did the work but I remember it all well. David the Plumber and Bill the heater/ac guys are really the best. They go the extra mile. They give fair quotes and do more than other companies. Bill and David helped me when I had a mold issue. The first plumber wouldn't even go down where the mold was. The second plumber was honest and fair but couldn't determine the leak. David and Bill came out and figured out it was AC unit over 50 years old which was leaking. Another plumber agreed. Turned out ABC was the one who had installed it 50 years ago! ( found their sticker on the old unit underneath). Bill and David tried to warn me that the mold guys were giving me scare tactics ( I had numerous companies overlapping giving estimates on a bunch of items). Bill and David helped reduce the moisture and thus reduced more damage by carrying the wet rug up and out of the basement before I even hired them because they knew the mold guys were just scaring me. It's been almost a year since they replaced my ancient HVAC and water heater but I have had no problems with them. They are my go to team. They beat out Bonney Plumbing who were rude and arrogant and Bell Brothers who were nice, but a little too expensive and too slick. They've already called to come see how everything is doing before the year was up as they promised free of charge. They always worked around my schedule! Love those guys. read more

I called ABC plumbing after reading some reviews on yelp, I had a technician come out. The technician seemed pretty knowledgeable about clearing out a kitchen drain that was draining slowly and a laundry sink drain that was draining slowly. Over the course of the next few hours I saw an experience something completely different than the reviews that I read. The technician spent a good hour charging his battery while he seemed to walk around aimlessly and explain to me that his battery was dead for his drill that he needed (glad I could help pay for this) not sure if the fact that he only had two more days with this company before he was going elsewhere had anything to do with this but it sure felt like it. The technician left my residence without solving one of the issues in the laundry room, I was told that a manager would be contacting me. This never happened! Stay away from this company! read more

This is the worst plumbing company we have ever used. First time he came out was to unclog a toilet. We thought everything was great until two months later when it happened again. We pulled the toilet and found the pipe was full of roots that he had not cleaned out. We had him come back, thinking he would fix his mistake, but he took no responsibility and charged us for another service call. Two months later the toilet was leaking water around the floor. When we pulled the toilet this time, we discovered that he broke the bolt that holds it to the floor. read more

Bill, the AC manager came out to look at my unit. He was absolutely wonderful! He was honest and not pushy about the work that my unit needed, unlike some other companies like...Bonney. He fixed my unit, gave me options and even called the manufacturer and gave me an estimate on parts etc. instead of pushing me to buy a new unit. I really appreciated it. I initially spoke with Joe over the phone, who offered advice about dealing with the water heater's tech dept., and ultimately, after lots of complicated back and forth with the water heater company, was able to reinstall another one.
