Professional and responsive! I sent a Yelp quote request on a Friday night of a 3-day weekend, as I noticed a leak from my water heater. I knew it was time for a new one but of course the leak was noticed on Friday night - ugh. I figured I would have to deal with it all weekend. I received an almost immediate message back asking for pictures and some information; a phone call from them followed. Gary (I believe) was kind and informative. He told me he would try to have someone out Sat or, for sure, Sun/Mon. He called me back a few minutes later and said John would be there at 8am Sat morning. This was all after 10 pm on Friday! John was on time (early, actually!) and explained the whole process. In less than 2-hours our new water heater was installed and good to go. I said a goodbye to my 1996 model and thanked John. He was professional and nice, which really just goes a long way nowadays. I truly appreciate a company that treats customers kindly and works hard for them. Highly recommended! Thank you! read more

Flash Water Heaters - New 50 gallon tank! Goodbye 1996 model:) - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

I loved these guys! They had great customer service from start up until finish! When I was having trouble with my water heater keeping up with hot water I knew I needed to get it fixed. The person who answered the phone was very informative, polite and knew a lot about water heaters. They had scheduled me out at the beginning of their work day the next day. The gentleman was so nice, worked cleanly and fixed the part in a short amount of time!! He informed me I had a good brand heater and it should last a while longer. I hope my water heater doesn't have much trouble down the road again but if it does I will be calling them again. I highly recommend Flash Water Heaters if your looking for outstanding friendly customers service. read more

I read all the reviews for Flash Water Heaters and felt comfortable calling them. I called for a hot water heater to be fixed. I was surprised when Gary said he could be at my house within the hour. He was very congenial and repaired the water heater in a timely manner and left the area free of debris. His price was reasonable and I would definitely use this company again. read more

Thank you for helping us out with our hot water heater so quickly! It's not fun when the water heater starts having issues, especially in the middle of winter. We thought for sure there would be a long wait until we could get someone to come out here to take a look at it, especially with the crazy storms and all. However, thanks to Gary, we have everything back to normal. We were able to reach a real person on the first phone call, and the staff was very professional and friendly. The person who came out, Gary, was also very friendly, and he was informative with everything he was doing. He made sure we knew exactly what was wrong and what was being specifically repaired so that we could understand what we were being charged for. Everything was completed nicely and efficiently. Gary even had the area completely cleaned up after, which was great! Thank you Gary! If we need additional services in the future, we will be for sure giving this company a call again. read more

Greg did a fantastic job, repairing 3 different plumbing problems. Water heater leaking from top, replaced water faucet outside, and checked the water line drainage capacity. He was here for a little over 2 hours, charged such a reasonable fee for the amount of work done. Great attitude, very professional! So very nice to finally find a dependable and wonderful plumber. Thanks Greg! read more

We made an emergency call to Flash after we came home to a broken hot water heater. The very next day, they came out and were able to remove the old water heater and then quickly installed the new one. They were very quick and punctual with their work and were very patient with all of our questions. My one critique, if anything, would have to be that they left some metal shavings on our floor and I wasn't really sure where they came from. I asked them about them and if they could be swept up and they said yes so I found it slightly odd that no effort was made on their part to just do that little extra bit. A quick mini brush and dustpan would have done the trick, but that's really a minor thing in my opinion. Overall, the new installation has worked out well and we have plenty of hot water. read more

I don't write many product or company reviews but when a company or products warrants a positive or negative review I have no issue sharing my opinion. The pilot light on our water heater went out a couple of days ago, I called Flash Water heaters and was connected with Wyatt Ray of Prominent Plumbing, their response was almost immediate, answered a few questions about the water heater brand and the problem. Wyatt provided a preliminary diagnoses as to what he thought may be the problem based upon his experience, ordered the part that might potentially fix the heater in advance. Needless to say I was still worried that upon arrival to actually triage the problem I was suspicious that they would find something else more extensive that would cost more money or we would have to replace the water heater altogether. They arrived the next afternoon, they were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem, the assessment that was made over the phone was accurate and within an hour our water heater was repaired. What we thought might end up being over a thousand dollar expense turned out to be a $225.00 repair. I would definitely use the services of Prominent Plumbing again!! read more

Our water heater was very old when we moved in. The seller would not replace it so I needed to get it done. The water heater we had was original and decades old so the brand was not available anymore and some modifications were needed to get it right. These guys wre top notch. The tech came out quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and didn't make me feel weird or put off. They have great customer service and the person on the phone was friendly as well. It was very easy to set up an appointment. They were friendly, quick and efficient. read more

The installed a new hot water heater for me this last Wednesday. Everything went really great. They did everything they said they would and did a clean install. It didn't take too long for such a big job. Make sure to let them know you don't have hot water and they'll make it a priority to get you on the schedule. I have their number saved for work or repairs that I need in the distant future. read more

I didn't know anything about replacing a water heater and was a little freaked out about getting one. These guys walked me through it all! They gave me a reasonable price, showed up on time, worked fast, and even hauled away the old heater! I seriously can't complain or criticize Flash Water Heaters!! So, kudos to you guys, for your great service! You deserve 6 stars! read more

Greg has to be the nicest plumber ever! The pilot light went out on our water heater over the weekend. Even though Greg had to make a special trip out he refused to let us pay. We will definitely be using his services again next time we need plumbing help. read more

Flash water heaters was called to repair a hot water heater that wouldn't stay lit. It turned out to be a simple reset button that we were unaware of and only took a few minutes to get things going. Because we had to pay for the hour of work, the plumber did some clean up maintenance on the hot water heater we wouldn't have been able to do. We appreciated the extra effort ;) read more

I am a single girl who lives in a rented house and know absolutely nothing about water heaters. I totally freaked when my water heater went out and stopped working. This was at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon! I called Trevor at Flash Water Heaters, he was there within an hour and explained that the thermocouple needed to be replaced to my landlord and I about possible replacements and also did an excellent clean up job after fixing it. My landlord was really impressed with Trevor and is now going to have him install a tankless water heater! He's a really great guy who was very sweet and patient. Thank you guys! read more

Great experience! They were the only plumbing company I called that actually had someone to answer the phone on a Sunday.  I was able to make an appointment right away for later that afternoon. The plumber called before he was supposed to to say he was on his way and he arrived right when he said he would. I explained the problems I was having with my water heater, we agreed on a price (they weren't excessively high, but it was a bit pricey in my opinion) and he went right to work. The repair was a little more than he bargained for but he got it done. He was very professional, even when I was totally confused and challenging him, he calmly worked on my issue and we continued to repair the water heater. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, although I hope I don't need any plumbing anytime soon. read more

Flash Water Heaters made a difficult task of switching from a tank water heater over to tankless system painless and easy. Trevor knew everything there was to know when it came to both types of tanks. After a lot of questions and a lot of what ifs we finally came to a solution. After giving it some thought and time we ended up deciding to buy the tankless unit. Trevor did a FANTASTIC job with EVERYTHING. He removed the old hot water heater that was beyond repair and replaced it with new tankless one. We are so grateful that we switched over because we like it so much more. A big plus about this company is they won't pressure you one way or the other. We felt they didn't over charge and they never tried to sway us one way or the other. If you get a tankless water heater installed from them you won't regret it because they do a phenomenal job. read more

I needed my water heater replaced and not only were they able to fix it but they arrived exactly when they said they would, were extremely professional, and were even kind enough to take a look at my bathroom faucet that kept dripping and told me what I needed to fix it on my own. The price was more than reasonable for the exceptional service! I highly recommend you use these guys for any of your plumbing needs! read more

This company is amazing!!! I called late last night and a person actually answered the phone and was able to set up an appointment for the following morning. The next day Travis arrived on time, assessed the situation and determined the water heater needed to be replaced. They had the water heater installed within an hour. They are professional, clean, honest, and do an exceptional job. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They are great and I would use them again. read more

After unsuccessfully trying to repair the hot water heater myself, I finally decided to hire a professional. Gary and Frankie are great guys! They did an amazing job and were incredibly friendly. They repaired my water heater in about 30 minutes and even educated me on the few steps I missed in my failed attempt. I appreciated their expertise and helpful tips. I would definitely hire them again! read more

Greg was quick to respond to my call, came over the next day (right on time) and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the broken valve on our hot water heater. He also pointed out something the previous homeowner did wrong installing the hot water heater that could be a carbon monoxide hazard, and showed my husband how he could fix it himself. We were very satisfied. read more

Wyatt did a great job replacing water heater at my rental house in Sacramento. He sent me written bid on the same day I called, finished installation on the 2nd day. He even went back to adjust temperature to the tenant's preference. I'm satisfied with their professional knowledge and skills, clear communication, competitive price, and great customer service. read more

Charles is such a nice guy and is great to work with.  We thought the problem was worse then it really was which was great cause this time of year money is tight.  Charles did a excellent job with repairs and cleaned up better then when he arrived and that goes a long way.  We will surely use this company again.  Thanks for the great service!! read more

I just moved into a new place and found the hot water heater was taking forever to get. A friend recommended I give Flash Water Heaters a call, and to request Gary. I called and had arrangements made with Gary for later in the week, then he texted to confirm our appointment the day of. His follow up was reassuring. Gary did a great job installing our new hot water heater. He took our old water heater out, placed the new one in and changed some venting. When I received his itemized invoice later that day, one of the charges confused me. I called the company immediately, and they explained it to me and they cleared it up for me immediately. Very happy with how professional and reliable Gary and his team were. read more

The person that we purchased our home from 7 years ago did most of his own renovation work. Not being a professional plumber himself, there have been issues from the beginning. When it came time to replace our water heater, we used Flash. The tech who responded (within 2 hours as promised) identified several substantial code issues that were lacking from the original installation. He not only upgraded the code issues and installed the water heater within 4 hours, but did so in a very friendly & professional manner. Pricing was very reasonable considering the amount of work that was done. Flash will be our first choice for all future plumbing repairs. read more
