The petting zoo takes about an hour if you do it right to see all the animals, feed a handful, and pet a handful.

After searching for a water park, I stumbled into this park that's located in the Lower Huron…read moremetropark in Belleville. The entrance we took, was right next to Turtle Cove, which was super convenient. There was plenty of parking and getting the tickets was a quick and easy process. It cost a little over $30 for the 4 of us. We were bummed the splash pad that is located inside TC was not working but still had a good time with the rest of the water park. There are two big slides (green- can use inflatable tube (single or double, blue- can't use a tube), a big lazy river, area for the little to swim, and a lot of seating. The pool and lazy river were not deep at all and there were plenty of lifeguards throughout the whole place. There are lockers after entering and wish I knew beforehand to bring change. The lockers I looked at required 2 quarters. If you're looking for a bit more than just a splash pad and a place where adults can also have fun in the water with your kiddos, this is a great place to come!

Appearently they don't know how to use their system but I showed the police our receipt and they appologized. I tried to go back to sleep and was awoken again @ 8am but this time by rocks hitting my camper. Giant industrial mowers are flying by children, pets, tents and vehicles, flinging rocks and waking everyone up. My cat was almost killed by some fool mowing at top speed. I saw the same thing happen with a family that had toddlers moments later. I paid $45 dollars to be harassed, woken up by mowers and chainsaws on my day off. This place is not worth it

They had tennis courts for pickle ball and a good open field for volleyball, corn hole and fowling. There were about 6 rows of about 4 side by side picnic tables under the shelter. We needed the shelter while eating since it down poured some today. There is a small parking by the tennis court and school, another on the other side of the playscape and a bigger one by the school, but it was under construction.

This park has just about everything and is huge. It has a large parking lot, tennis courts,…read morebaseball/softball fields, 2 playgrounds, some covered pavilions, and in inline hockey rink. There is also a paved walking/jogging trail. The covered pavilions have picnic tables under it, but I do not think there are any grills. You will have to bring your own. The park appears kind of old and is relatively maintained. It could use some lawn care. The two play grounds are on opposite ends of the park from each other, along with the pavilions. One play ground has older equipment. The other new playground (by the high school) is bigger and has more modern equipment. It has a huge jungle gym with slides, bridges, and poles. There is also a set of modern swings, a set of regular swings, and a dome climber over there as well. The older playground has a very small metal slide (ouchhhh, on those hot summer days), and two sets of worn swings that have seen better days. As an added bonus, the park has a couple of restroom facility and paved paths that could be used for walking. They are not very long so you would probably get bored running up and down them. The baseball/softball fields are world class and have lights. I think they are used for Allen Park rec league ball mostly, but can be rented. The same goes for the inline-skate rink. The park is located in the backyard of Allen Park High School and I found it hard to differentiate what facilities belonged to the park and which belonged to the school. This is a nice park and definitely worth a visit or planning a special event at. Whether it be a baseball tournament, tennis match, picnic, party, or walking your dog. It has tons of stuff to do.
