Another Happy Customer! Repairs done, house SOLD!
    Carolyn Realtor G.

This excellent review is long overdue. I originally had contact with Mike Hall, with Heritage Home Services, when he and his crew tore off and replaced our roof. It has been several years and the roof has held up great! They also added new ridge vents, to allow ventilation. Their prices were fair, and the work was great. I have recently contacted him, because a different roofer accidentally began to remove my roof! The bad roofing company tried to slap it back together. I called Mike Hall to verify the repairs, and he found that the repairs are sub-par, and the bad roofers hadn't put the roof back to its original condition. He will be redoing the bad roofer's bad repairs. I realized how much I depend on Mike Hall to be fair, and honest. I decided I want to give him a shout out, because as a realtor, Mike has helped many of my clients in the past. I refer him to anyone that needs a roof, or roof repair. 217 Almquist - repaired roof leaks, the house being bought by my 1st time home buyers. He looked at it, and repaired the roof the same day. He also went above and beyond, he painted all of the roof vents so they would look pretty. 2103 Jasper - My buyer's needed a new roof before purchase. Mike's crew worked with the insurance and new roof was completely finished before move in date. 3604 Walleye - I was helping the seller, the roof was shot. Mike worked with insurance, and got the roof replaced before the closing date, no problems. 1007 Parrot - My residence - didn't disturb our life much. Our dogs barked at the sound of banging, but they came, worked and left the yard clean and free of debris and nails. 1005 Parrot - My neighbors. I helped them sell their house. They needed shingle, siding and dry rot repairs. Mike got it done quickly before listing. The exterior of the house passed all inspections. My clients were very satisfied. Mike found matching siding to match their old style vertical siding. They even painted the dry rot repair areas to match the other paint. 1309 Rockridge - there was a problem with rain draining down the front of the entryway of a 2 story house. With a change of flashing, and a redirecting of the gutter drainage, the problem was fixed. Mike did the repair on site the same day. He knows what he's doing! This is my long, short list of all of the properties Mike has helped me on. I keep him on speed dial, and he always answers. He has good old fashioned work ethics, and I trust him very much. I can't say that for all workers that I've worked with, so it is extremely refreshing to find A+ customer service with Mike Hall at Heritage! Thanks, Mike. (I'm gushing about him, but this is out of my own gratefulness. No compensation has been received for this review. :) )

They responded quickly to my inquiry, hired good contractors who all did excellent work, and…read morefinished the project in a timely fashion. What surprised me most is I was able to customize many aspects of the build, as opposed to it being predetermined design and construction. I definitely plan to go to them for the next project.

I contacted this company along with some others to get a quote for a shed for my backyard. After…read morespeaking with this company, I elected to go with this company and had a 10x12' (120 sq feet) storage shed (the size of an office or a bedroom) built in the summer of this year in my backyard. The purpose of this shed was to house my lawn/pool/scouting/camping equipment, etc. I elected to go with a James Hardie fiber cement siding shed that matched my home. Many folks elect to go with plastic sheds (or other shed materials), but because I reside within a homeowners association, there was a requirement that materials used for my shed match the home. Regardless, if this requirement was not in place and although more on the expensive side, I would have elected to go with Hardie Plank fiber because of the inherent advantages... when the right materials are used, it looks great, and it lasts a long time. The option for the elevation of the shed (what the shed would rest on) provided by the company were cement blocks, which is fairly standard. I however, requested that a full cement base (at an added cost) be built as I live in an area where rattlers are present and didn't want to welcome them to a new home underneath my shed. The contractor who poured the cement was different from Sheds & More. Once the contractor poured the cement and it was able to dry, the Sheds & More crew came out to begin constructing the shed. The shed took approximately two days to complete (building and painting the planks). The workers who came to do the build were efficient and cleaned up the work area each day. The only issue with the shed is a small catch at the top of the sliding barn door that doesn't allow the door to shut smoothly. I did report this concern to the PM, who advised someone would take care of the issue, but as of the date of this review, that has yet to occur. I am happy with the shed aside from the minor issue. It should be noted that if someone does decide to contract with this company, they are not the cheapest option (but you get what you pay for), 10% of the project funds are required to start the project, many shed options are available and communication with the PM and crew for the job is simple. Total costs for the project to include full cement base $14,000 #supportlocal
