At least 6 washers and 9 dryers were out of order. The $6 and $7 dollar washing machines left most of my rugs and a blanket dripping wet, almost like there was no spin cycle. And all of us there tonight were having to spend way too many quarters to get our laundry dry. Apparently they recently had a major water leak along the back wall. Look at my photos to see the "before" and "after." The parking lot is still quite dark and a bit creepy at night. I hope the owners appreciate what a gem they have in Betty Spaghetti. It's a bit further from my house, but along my commute so it works out. I am very happy so far. For one, it's always the same, friendly woman working, as opposed to a random high school student at Pride who I never see again from visit to visit. She always asks me how I am, comments on the weather or something, and it's just a nice exchange. I previously mentioned an odd smell, but I have no encountered that recently. It also does seem to take maybe a day longer than Pride, but I rarely need my dry cleaning immediately so that's okay. The prices seem about the same. If you need it quicker, I believe they charge 10% extra for overnight service. One place I am very happy is alterations. I had a seam pulling away and had fixed it on the fly, but that wasn't of quality as a 28 year old guy. So, I decided to take it to Olathe Cleaners and get it done by a professional while it was getting dry cleaned anyways. It took a few extra days, but when I got it back, it was like brand new and I am very happy with the quality of their fix. Olathe Cleaners will now be my cleaners for the foreseeable future.

BEWARE!!!The place is clean BUT the dryers are a SCAM! Some dryers are 5 minutes, 7 mins, 8 mins…read moreand I used one that was 10 mins. However each dryer is .25. Additionally, by the time your load dries you've spent $1 to $1.50. The issue here is inconsistencies in drying time and temperature of the dryers. When addressing this with the employee on site, he advised "the owner sets the drying time and there isn't anything he can do'. He also stated even though the dryer isn't fully drying the mgr told him he cannot refund customers if the dryer is blowing warm air. Doesn't make sense. I will not be back and recommend you find another place to dry your laundry.

THEN I had to check the address to be sure we were all reviewing the same place!! One was from 3 years ago, and it has definitely gone downhill from that one. As to the one from 7 months ago, the review that got me here, yes, the on-duty manager was helpful when asked. But there is only one very tiny restroom, and it is definitely the worse for wear! And I doubt that review would have been so good had so many machines been out of order/broken when she was here. While I love the charming name, and that also influenced my decision to try this place, I'm sticking with two stars, at best!
