I've been coming here for years to get my dry cleaning. The staff is always helpful and they truly stick to the 24 hours pick up time after drop off. I've had really delicate clothes dry cleaned here and they always come back looking great. Every time we attend a wedding and need dresses and tux dry cleaned, we come here. The drop off process is so easy. They also always have Tide samples inside that you can take as well. For the price, I think they are well priced compared to other dry cleaners in the area. I fought myself with this location, but today put the nail in the coffin. $62.00 for 7 shirts just to be dry cleaned? 3 shirts $31.00 These people have lost my clothes in teh past and had one piece but didnt have the other part of my suit. I am the fool to keep dealing with them but they can cancel my account today. I paid but it will never happen again. I will being going to the one down on Santa fe and also pride cleaners. Seriously will not trust any other cleaners. I've been ripped off and had items lost and stolen at other places, so I was thrilled that a friend recommended this place. I don't often have my clothes dry cleaned- I'm definitely more of a wash & wear kind of gal at this stage in my life, but when I need something dry cleaned, I take it here. They're fast but not so fast that they cut corners, and the prices are much less than other cleaners around town. They also pick up & deliver, and if you're in a hurry, there are drive-thru lanes and one of the friendly staff members will come out and help. They're also really eco-friendly and use only green products. There's absolutely zero chemical smell in the store or on my clothes- love and appreciate that so much!! read more

You would think I have learned my lesson with this location. Attention to detail is lack luster here. More than once I have dropped my items off through the drive thru, shown my 20% off coupon and it does not get applied. Just yesterday I went to pick up and specifically told the girl to make sure my 20% was applied. She brought the clothes back and said "you're all set". Get home, no 20%. Seriously?? Very simple... Not sure what is wrong with the staff there. My suggestion is to use the other locations. More friendly and pays attention. Just speaking from experience! The other two I have visited in the past have MUCH better customer service. Something that we all should value these days. read more

I am very impressed. I pulled up and someone ran out to my car with a clipboard asking if I was a new or returning customer. "New," I said and she explained how the place worked, including the fact that I could designate my things to be left in a locker for me to collect after hours. "Do you have a new customer discount?" I queried. "Yes, 35%." Wow! A few days later I came back to get my stuff, they hung it in the back of my car for me and even gave me a bag to use for the next time I come back. Let me be clear, the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5th star is because it's a chain from a big business. Other than that, my clothes have been well taken care of, nothing has ever been "misplaced" as has often happened at pride cleaners, and the location always looked well taken care of and smells fresh. I was sad when Tide Dry Cleaners took the spot of what use to be the second Dragon Inn location... Because I LOVE Dragon Inn. But after a few months and realizing I needed a better dry cleaning solution I stopped in here to try it out. Love this place!! It makes my life so easy! And it's so clean inside and out, the staff are always smiling and refreshing... Which isn't necessarily the case with other local dry cleaners I've tried. I love to be able to drive right up and drop off and/or pick up. They have my credit card info stored so I never have to pull it out, I also have only been inside one time as I'm always a drive through patron. Makes my life so MUCH simpler! They uncomplicated something that didn't need to be complicated in the first place. Something we all need. Thanks Tide Dry Cleaners! And I'm off to there now with items to drop off and pick up. Also, as another reviewer mentioned if you sign up for the "Inner Circle" Rewards program they email you a coupon at least monthly. I have been here three times. First time: I walked in, showed stained garment to mgr, she spot tested and thought they'd be able to get it all out. When I picked up, they got the stain out, looked great. Mgr gave me 30% discount on 1st order as a new customer. She was great to work with. Second time: dropped off many shirts inside, they did a great job. Tip: If you drop off inside, you'll be in their way. It's not a fun experience. Some workers can be rude and look annoyed. Third time: dropped off three white shirts, which have since gone missing. I am waiting on mgr to locate them and call me back. They were apologetic about it. I'll update here with the end result. Update: after many months, another customer finally returned my shirts. Mgr called me to let me know they came back in. Let me give the highest praises to Bob and his team at Tide in Prairie Village - they were instrumental in assisting my elderly parents with cleaning services after a flood occurred in their apartment (no fault of theirs) . Tide went above and beyond in assisting them in moving heavy wet bedding and clothing out of their apartment. I am sure that their quick action prevented any illness on the part of my frail elderly parents due to mold and mildew that would have started as the wet items were too heavy for them to move. All wet items were returned hung, clean and fresh. I can't say enough good about them. read more

This is my very first yelp review. I felt so strongly to let anyone who is considering using Tide cleaners ,should do so. I can't say enough about this amazing team. Bob the manger goes above and beyond to help with any special request and nothing is too difficult for him to solve. I had been on vacation and when I returned home I realized my suitcase was left out in the rain at the airport, when I opened it my red blouse had bleed all over my light colored clothing -at least 20 pieces I thought they were destroyed. I brought them in to Bob and without hesitation said, give me a few days. Well, he made each piece look new again. Far too expensive for the quality. I asked to get two stains out of my dress pants and I got them back without any treatment to them at all. They simply ironed over them. The pants and shirts don't come back neatly pressed and look sloppily done. There are still creases/wrinkles on each piece of clothing and for how expensive they are, I expected far better. Everyone working today (I wish I would've gotten names) was extremely impolite and completely unhelpful. All I said was that the clothes needed a harsher treatment because of grease stains, and they continued to roll their eyes, huff and puff and bitch at me about my manager's request. Really guys? First of all, I love the same day pickup. I give it 5 stars for that. I lived in Lawrence and always used Scotch which was also same day pickup if before 8am. However, I wear fitted dress shirts. Once it became winter, I noticed all of my fitted shirts were stretched. Somehow they went from a Medium to an Extra Large. All of my Express shirts were stretched and I was unable to wear them untucked. I give that a 1 star. When I called to ask about reversing the processes (and questions about how they launder shirts), the manager said, "Well, you could always wash them at home and put them in the dryer longer to re-shirk them." Wait, what? I eventually went to Hangers, which takes longer, but they never stretch my shirts. I recommend Hangers over Tide. read more

Tide's has such an easy advantage over any other dry cleaners with their drive-thru service lanes (if only they brought you hot coffee or something too!). The workers are generally very friendly and I've never encountered anyone rude in my 25+ visits. I don't generally check my tickets for accuracy but have on occasion when dropping off a coat or larger item. I will say I've found a few errors or a coupon was not accounted for. After a call to the store my account is quickly rectified. I love having them in the neighborhood. I do wish they would become more involved with the community by perhaps offering a percentage back to local schools for parents who sign up. Hangers (even more convenient with door to door pick up and delivery) offers a very nice percentage back to our school PTA. read more

Sweet is not a word I use freely or even like, but that is how I would describe the staff at Tide. I like to be around nice people and, they do a great job on my clothes. What more do you want? Yes, they have a drive through and it is so convenient, making pick up and drop off a five minute encounter instead of 15 with the 3 kids. There is always a coupon to be found, if you want to save, they even take competitors. All around a great place and I'd give Tide a FIVE, if it weren't for Katie. In the general populous one expects to run into rude young people but it is a surprise in a service industry, and especially one that for me, has excelled in all areas. Don't worry about her though, her disrespectful and arrogant attitude will surly not go unnoticed by the management. read more

I dropped off a down filled comforter at the Addison 150th in Overland Park Ks. Asked them to clean it. Went to pick it up a few days later. Took it home and they state there was a spot they couldn't get out ( looked like it was hung up wet and had water spots). I called the manauwho offered to clean it again )since I paid $35). I gave them a second chance. Now I picked it up again and now it has blood spots on it. They again offered to clean it for a 3rd time and I told them I am done. Can't do zero stars so one will have to do. If clothes fall off their rack system they have been known to have issues mixing up the clothing items and giving customers the wrong one and then refuse to admit they made a mistake even though the wrong item clearly doesn't fit the customer. The employees have always seemed nice but the ownership/management have been extremely difficult to deal with. Though we like the tide brand we refuse to use any of their facilities due to those in charge. read more

The women that work at this establishment are right down rude. The first individual would not allow me to show my 20% discount on my phone. Her comment was "hurry up I have other things to do and I will make sure you get the 20% discount". When I came back to pay the discount was not on the ticket so I had to complain to the manager. The second was today. I did not have a credit card on file and I wanted to know how much the bill was before I paid. She acted like a spoiled 4 year old and stomped back into the store to find out how much. I spend a lot of many at this place and would expect better customer service from these people. I called this location and described a rug that in wanted to get cleaned. I was asked to describe it, and told it would be $15 to have it cleaned. I even questioned that price as I had a comforter cleaned there the week before and it was $20. When I came back to pick up the rug I was charged $56.11 for it. I questioned why the price was different. I was told "we already charged your card and there is no way to reverse it." What company doesn't know how to reverse a charge? Took a black and white dress in because it had a salad dressing stain on it. It was my first visit. I was very worried about whether the stain would come out. The associate showed her manager and the manager was very honest about the possibility of the fabrics bleeding if completely dry cleaned. I opted to just get the stain removed. They were able to do this and the dress came back looking perfect. I appreciated their honesty and carefulness with my dress. As a first time customer I was also offered a discount. read more

Do NOT use this drycleaners. My experience was TERRIBLE- the worker was completely rude and would not apologize for her mistake. I was over charged for my order which I requested her to reverse (minutes after it was charged) and she refused only offering me store credit. I wasn't interested in store credit since I will never return. I refused to sign the receipt given that I didn't authorize the charge in that amount- she then attempted to take the clothes out of my car! The issue is not yet resolved as she wouldn't do anything about it and said a manager would need to handle the issue. Given the other reviews on here, I'm not hopeful on this will be handled. read more

I am resubmitting a previous attempt to post, as it apparently did not work as my review does not show up. I went to Tide to pick up shirts that I had dropped off and was advised that they didn't have them. I visited with the manager who promised he would investigate. I did not hear back from him, so attempted to contact him several times in person and via phone. I was advised he was unavailable each time-- and he never returned my calls. Tide's system does not give claim checks, which left me with no proof that I actually dropped off the items, so I am basing this review solely on the bad service demonstrated in their unwillingness to provide decent customer service to follow up on my reported loss and not returning phone calls. My experience with Tide prior to this experience had been good, but the true test of quality is not when things go as expected, but in how one deals with situations when things go wrong. read more

I've been taking my clothes, monthly, to Tide at Prairie Village for about 9 months now. The cleaning is superb, my clothes look nice. However, front desk staff appears overworked and underpaid. It's not a pleasant experience walking into Tide. Also, I question their pricing practices, which border on fraudulent. The claim ticket they give you does not list the price to be paid and the application of the coupon to same. Instead, whenever I've asked in the past about the applicable discount, they say "it's on the final receipt." Yesterday I picked up my 10 items which were placed in three different dryer bags. The coupon had only been applied to 1/3 of the order. Then they said they could not give me my money back, only apply a credit for future use. When I returned home, I reviewed prior Tide receipts and see they routinely apply coupons to only a portion of the order. This pattern of practice demonstrates fraud. Don't trust them! read more
