There's a small park with benches and a gazebo across the street from the ice-cream shop. The line does get pretty wild during the hot weathers. Pricing wise, I think their mini is enough to satisfy an ice cream fix. For only $6 something plus tax, you get 4 small scoops of ice cream where you can mix and match up to 2 flavours (2 flavours per scoop). It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. If you are a coconut fan who loves a yummy raspberry filling that has the right balance of tartness and sweetness, this tart is for you. It is incredibly delicious and fresh. I was devastated when I couldn't remember the business that makes these tarts. I contacted Enniskillen General Store on Facebook and got a quick response. The store sell these tarts year-round. Yay! I went into the store and it sells Kawartha ice cream, which is my favourite ice cream ever. I didn't get any, but I will next time I am there, along with stocking up on more butter tarts. It's a wonderful area. It did get busy during the Butter Tart Festival. I parked on the side of the road and got my exercise walking over to butter tart heaven.
