Small (baby) size!
Neo V.

Excellent ice cream You get a small (baby) for $3.50 which is a large anywhere else for double the price. If your going east towards Oshawa it's a few minutes east of where the 407 ends now. It will be worth your while. It's a General store so it has a little bit of everything but I think the ice cream is the biggest hit.

Big baby of strawberry cheesecake (regular spoon for size comparison)

HIDDEN GEM MUCH? My friend works in Enniskillen sometimes and raved about "the greatest ice cream shop ever" and we finally had some time to try it. It seems we came at a good time (9PM) because I'm told they have really long lines sometimes. There are places to sit inside and outside the store. The store is very... Comfortable. The vibes are good, the staff is friendly, and the ice cream!!!!! There are four coolers of varieties that range from standard cookies n cream to flavours like Irish cream and raspberry lemon-lime sherbet. Ice cream comes in cones or cups in a variety of sizes: teenie ($2.99), baby, big baby ($4.99), and challenge ($8.99 - you are inducted upon a wall of fame). Make no mistake - these sizes are all formidable despite their affordable prices. The teenie is maybe 2 scoops of one flavour, the baby is about 4 scoops of one flavour, the big baby is two babies, and the challenge is about 8 babies. We all came in overconfident and, despite the warnings and arched eyebrows of our helpful scooper, ordered one big baby each... One of us finished. Quantity is there but! Make no mistake - the quality is there as well. The ice cream is delicious and is rich in flavour (fruity flavour taste fresh, chocolates are sweet and flavourful, etc.) I will be coming here again and again and again and again... I think you'd be hard pressed to find a place for ice cream as phenomenal as this one.

The ice cream is delicious and the quantity is generous. Love this place, and would definitely go back for another baby size vanilla scoop.

Definitely more expensive if you compare to Dairy Queen, but so many more options with their flavours. It was very busy when I went at 9pm on a Monday night with two staff working. Service was slow and each ice cream took about 5 minutes to make. If you're looking for some great ice cream check it out!

I was never really a fan of Marble Slab especially because I had such a bad experience at the…read moredowntown location. However I gave this one a try and it was pretty good. I do enjoy the concept of getting to choose my ice cream (7oz) and getting to mix the toppings in the ice cream. I'm pretty simple and went with the sweet cream and added almond pieces to help cut the sweetness, waffle pieces for texture and a little sprinkles on top to make it look cute. It was really good. The quality of the ice cream is great in comparison to other ice cream joints (however baskin Robbins is still up there). Now the thing that pushed this location up to 5 stars was the vanilla sugar cone. How many times have you gone to an ice cream joint and had a stale cone? This was FRESH! It had flavour and was very crunchy, you could instantly tell it was made that day. I'll be back! Keep Eating, Angela

We drove by, saw the crowd and turned around and got two huge (their small cone) delicious ice cream cones- Black cherry and creamy Butter Pecan. We were greeted with smiles and great service. There are many picnic tables for patrons and behind the building is an area for kids to play, a nice playground. A food truck is next to the ice cream service area. We went back for lunch a few days into our trip. We ordered 2 Italian Sausages w/ peppers and onions, a side of Mac-n- cheese squares (fried)- oh my! Yum! They had a sizable lunch crowd. A must if you visit the area! Also, on the other end of the building is a fruit & vegetable stand.

We stopped in for ice cream. Ice cream service is through an outside window on the side of the diner. There is picnic table outdoor seating. Compared to ice cream spots we frequent in more populated areas, selections here may seem limited. But there is surely something that will satisfy your sweet tooth if you don't have too restricted of a diet. They serve all hard-scoop Hershey's ice cream. My hubbs and son were pleased with their choices (Camo-Cream and Cookie Dough), and my small peanut butter sundae was sized just right for a reasonable treat. Prices were pretty fair; for the three of us, we paid just over $11. They do offer some specialty milkshakes that looked interesting, which comes with a glass mug you keep. We will work our way to trying one of those sometime. We did not eat any of the diner food this time, but there were a couple of patrons at the picnic tables with takeout boxes. The food looked good, like fried and grill food you'd expect from a diner. Currently, during pandemic times, they were only serving takeout only, no indoor seating yet. If you're visiting the Point Breeze area and want an ice cream treat and/or a diner meal, give Hayden's a try.

It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. Parking may not be easy to find but people tend to parking in the large parking lot behind to store. Review 2021-084 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

The ice cream sold here is Kawartha Dairy, so that bit is pretty standard. But the servings are pretty big & a single is only $3 and a double $4, including tax. So it's cheaper than going to a Kawartha outlet They only accept cash & etransfer. The guy is pretty friendly, though there were some ice crystals in the ice cream.
