This "adult" couldn't even talk without ACCUSING ME of being threatening, lying, rambling, acting like a little kid. My transmission completely rebuilt just stock minus the core and delivery($500) is $900-$1100.... good thing he was gonna change out $60-$100 worth of clutches and a $100-$300 torque converter. $100 transmission lines. Called these guys up and told them they suddenly were booked for a month and couldn't get me in for $1600 leak. Found they reused the pan gasket and filter. My girlfriend went inside after I came out and tried to come to my defense and he stood by his decision that he made the right call to overtighten the wheel bearings instead of replacing the lower and upper ball joints and now he refuses to make the situation right!! I have been going to Pallens…read moreAutomotive for probably 25 years or more, I ran an automotive parts store and serviced the Pallens shop and even his one son Michael worked for me. I have two vehicles, my 2012 Chevy Silverado 4x4 and my wife's 2013 Ford escape AWD. My wife's car had a check engine light and a low tire pressure light come on the dash. I've told Tom, Steven, Victor and all of the other mechanics to never put cheap or one year warranty parts on any of my vehicles and from day one I've never complained about a repair bill. Now after calling and telling Steven that the code was 051, a crank case pressure sensor. Steven called and told me to bring the car into the shop Friday at 9:30am and he'll check it out. Now every time I deal with Steven he tells me that he'll check it out and call me but that never happens and we're without a car for two to three days and when I call he tells me oh I gotta check this or I gotta check that when in reality he's blowing smoke up my butt. Well the truth came out that Friday. When my wife dropped off her car she asked when can I pick up my car, now remember Steven told me 9:30am, well it was 8:30am. My wife was to told she could pick up her car at 4:00pm. I picked up my wife at her job in Elyria at 3:55pm and drove straight to Pallens and I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting. Finally she comes out and I asked what's going on and she tells me that the young mechanic just ran out to the parking lot and pulled her car into the garage and changed the sensor. She paid the bill and we leave, driving home on broadway my wife calls me and and says that the check engine light and tire pressure light is still on. I told her to turn around and go back. She's told that Steven will get the sensor from the Ford dealership and she asked about the tire pressure sensor and was told she has to make an appointment even though they stock those sensors. This proved to me that Steven was peeing on my foot and trying to tell me that it's raining. You cannot believe anything Steven tells you. When a man's words ring empty (Stay away) I've had repair bills of $2000 sometimes more and I never complained about any one of them but when you show me that patronizing, your business means nothing that I take my money and spend it elsewhere. Thank you Stephen you save me some money you can blow smoke up somebody else else's you'll never do it to me again.

When they first opened I had A LOT of work done there on my old car and they always did an amazing,…read moreand affordable job. However, when I got my new car I kept having a light come on indicating something was wrong whenever I put gas in my car. I thought it was the cap, and replaced it, but that wasn't the issue. I took it to A&M and was told that a sensor in my fuel system was bad and agreed to them replacing it. A week went by and it came one again, so I went back. Mike told me that the sensor they got was bad and replaced that one. A couple of weeks go by and the light came on again. I decided to take it the dealer who informed me it was the sensor A&M replaced. I informed him that A&M replaced that sensor not once, but twice, to be told that the sensor in my car was indeed the original sensor from 2018. I was charged over $300 to replace a sensor by A&M only to find out that they never even touched my car. After experiencing such good and honest service for the few years I dealt with them I was extremely disappointed to find out that they became dishonest and shady.
