WOW! What outstanding service - I was lucky enough to get staff person Will on the phone today - an…read moreexample of someone actually caring to help a customer's situation and really being helpful to do so! I thought I needed to rent a power washer - I first called the other 2 rental equipment places in San Rafael - I talked to Jackson, I talked to All Star, told them all the details of my situation, and it seemed their equipment would be too strong for my job, but they made no other suggestions for alternative solutions. After calling them (and All Star did suggest calling Cal West - thank you All Star for doing so!) - I called Cal-West and am so glad Will answered the phone! I told him the project the same as I told the other 2 places and he was kind and caring enough to actually have genuine insight into my situation as homeowner with a cleaning project and made the awesome suggestion of a different tool that would actually get my job done MORE effectively without harming the surface - and he spoke from personal experience and told me how he uses this inexpensive tool successfully in many applications himself! It is a telescoping wand handle with a choice of brush heads that I can attach to my own garden hose and clean the outdoor rugs without damaging them! No other place suggested this solution. I told them exactly what the job was too - no one there suggested this - but Will did! Thank you sir! You were kind enough to help someone even if I don't now need to rent a piece of equipment - you suggested a device that will enable me to safely clean outdoor area rugs to get off mud, algae and weeds from being outdoors all winter - without destroying them - plus I have a R hand fracture in a brace - you were so kind and helpful - thank you again Will you're a hero for this homeowner today!

We went here a few years ago to fill up a propane tank. We didn't have any problems and the tank…read morelasted quite a long time. Now we're back to refill it again. I called ahead to make sure they were open and still doing propane refills. They told me there's a minimum of 5 gallons at $4.29 per gallon, so the charge would be $21.45 plus tax. I called around to check a few other places and found one that was a little cheaper, but it was a pretty long drive. Since I was already here, I went ahead and got it filled. The service guy, Adria, who filled the tank was really nice, and so was Alvaro at the counter. My tank actually only needed 4 gallons, and Alvaro was kind enough to charge me just for the 4 gallons instead of the 5-gallon minimum. Happy customer. One helpful tip: when you arrive, don't go to the front desk first. Drive straight in to the propane station. They'll give you an invoice, and then you take that inside to pay when you're done.
