I saw her in the garden area and she helped me select the red mulch for my planter. Juana went the extra mile for me and got a dolly and even loaded four of the 2.2 cubic feet for me. No joke Yelpers! These bags weigh approximately 35-40 lbs each. Needless to say she went all ten yards. Got all four bags for under $ 20.00. Thank you Ace! My wife and I had bought some veryy beautiful goat hide, high craftsmanship chairs from this place. After 2 months ofhaving them, one of them broke while moving it from one place in the house to another, because we enjoy the chairs look and feel we committed to buying another, even though we would need to travel 2.5 hours to pick it up. We love Half Mokn Bay, so we were going to make a weekend of it. Long story short, we ordered, paid and let the store know we will come down this past weekend to pick it up. All was going well, until we showed up to pick up the chair we already paid for.... The staff was clueless to the purchase, after 3 staff got involved nor knowing anything about the chair or purchase, they called the owner who deflected to the customer (my wife) having not communicated with the owner. We ended up canceling the order due to the horrible approach the owner showcased. Blaming the customer, my wife, and making it as though she was in the wrong, we will find the artist elsewhere, I am sure of it, and we will surely skip Abode next time we are in town. Sad but true. The green plants are a little on the expensive side, but the flowers are very affordable, with a huge variety to choose from. The entire place is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They're open every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The only minor downside is that the entrance is a little narrow. If you're coming from east to west, you may need to make a somewhat tight left turn into the driveway, which can feel a little tricky when there's traffic behind you. Other than that small inconvenience, this is a wonderful place. Met up with a friend here and the three of us walked all the aisles and all the sections picking up the plants that struck our fancy - from flowers, to vegetables, to ground cover, to air plants, to houseplants, to fruit trees - they've got it all! Good service, clean and organized and super reasonable prices. This is far enough for us that we won't be coming here every weekend, but certainly worth making a 1-2x year trip to stock up, learn and get inspired.

He has taken the time to take me to suppliers in Hayward and puts forth his opinions and expertise but always leaves the final decision with you. He recommended an outstanding contractor which I ended up hiring and both of them working together was such an advantage. The fact that his business is one I could visit several times throughout the renovation, speak to only one person familiar with my needs was important to me. We would communicate over the phone sometimes at all hours. He was very dedicated and clearly loves his job. His prices were good and fair as well. Highly highly recommend! I should add that this project was a complete kitchen remodel.
