Our company contacted All Star Rents in the afternoon. They were immediately on our request. Paperwork was sent quickly as well. They delivered a few items that same day as well as the remaining items first thing the next morning. Super friendly and helpful If there were more stars available, they would get them. Can't recommend them enough. read more

5 stars does not give this company enough kudos. on behalf of my son's elementary school, we reached out asking if they were interested in donating a bobcat so that we could move mountains of mulch that had been donated for the gardens. Not only did they say yes, they delivered the equipment and picked it up. We were able to make great use of the equipment and finished looming projects. Fantastic customer service and a great group of men. Definitely suggest stopping by!!! read more

11/10. Wow. I cannot recommend All Star Rents enough. We are two newbies who embarked on a home improvement project to remove old peeling paint from our concrete floors in our loft and polish them up new. We had very little idea on how to execute. We visited three other rental businesses before going to All Star Rents and none were as helpful, knowledgeable nor had the right equipment and supplies as these guys did. Joe, Carlos and William walked us through the entire process, pointed us to the right equipment and were available for our questions and concerns throughout our entire 5 day project. The level of professionalism, great customer service and knowledge on concrete and flooring was beyond what we could have hoped for. We successfully removed the paint, polished, densified and sealed our concrete and we couldn't have done it without the expertise of these guys. If a couple of newbies could turn ugly peeling concrete paint into beautiful shiny new floors, then anyone can with All Star Rents. :) thanks guys. We'll be back soon for maintenance equipment rentals and purchases. read more

So helpful and informative, efficient, quick. I rented a tile saw for the day. They helped me load it and unload and check in was quick!

Being in a rental business you need to be a little bit flexible. They should have a window time to return the tools. Also I paid for a 32 ft ladder and they gave me 40 ft. The ladder was much heavier hard to work with. 2024 guys. Let's start being professional read more

Love All Star rents. Always happy to deal with. Great pricing and availability. Help full when choosing the right equipment.

Better prices than Home Depot and a much better staff as well. I rented a floor sander and edger, and the machine was strong and sturdy. Thanks, team. read more

Good rental service been renting a trailer and the people in there have good humor and they help you get you in and out ASAP. Worth renting equipment from them when you have a business that timing depends on it. read more

So far I have rented from them: Chainsaw Jackhammer Wheelbarrow Shovels Dumptruck The prices have been fair and the service stellar. Thank you All Star Rents read more

It's amazing how much easier a job is with the right equipment. Full service operation with whatever you need...and some cool stuff you don't need but need to figure out a project to use it for. Prices are comparable to other larger retailers. Great for the DIYer (I'm a weekender at best). Support your local business. We'll be back! read more

All Star Rents - 8hp self propelled till and trailer. - Machine & Tool Rental Near Me - San Pablo, California

Rented from them twice in the last 10 years. First time I reserved a mini excavator and the day before delivery they called and said the size I wanted wasn't available and I ended up with the next bigger size. Now this time I reserved a boom lift one month in advance. Have a email from them with the details and spoke with them twice in the days leading up to the reserved date. Well this morning I drove 40 miles and my brother in law drove 120 miles to the rental yard only to find out they had rented it out the day before. Reservations mean nothing to them. I don't trust these people anymore. read more

The staff here are easy to work with, friendly and their rates are very reasonable. Carlos, whom I worked with, is very good. I will be coming back to this business for other specialized equipment I need for home improvement projects. read more

I'm new to DIY, and thanks to COVID, recently found time for projects around the house. I decided my first project would be to break up a small-ish concrete slab the previous homeowner poured on top of our garage floor. I did my research and planned to rent a small demolition hammer from Home Depot- they don't rent out extension cords or chisel bits, so I looked around and decided to rent those from All Star Rents. When I got to the shop, I got to talking with Edgar. After I told him about my project, he got me set up with a more-appropriately-sized demo hammer for my project along with an extra chisel bit. I ended up saving a couple of bucks renting from All Star Rents, and got to support a local business in the process! I'm a happy customer, and will be coming back here for all of my future equipment rentals. read more

I rented a dolly from them a few years ago and I must say, they still carry very good and stable equipment. This facility is still clean and good looking. They have knowledgeable employees with great personalities as well. The team here A+! Understood our issues and was able to provide insight on fixes and workarounds for the issues at hand. When we rented the 50ft drain snake, it operated just fine and is a frikkin beast of a tool. Although everything was great with this machine, there was a pin that was loose on the neck area where the snake come out/in from. We put it back several times with no issues, but on one occasion when attempting to place the pin back, one of the pin holes had a piece of small sharp metal sticking out and it gave me a little cut. Bled a bit but it wasn't too bad. I recommend All-Star Rental at this location grind/sand it down so it doesn't happen to another customer. Just an FYI. Other than that, everything worked out great. Pros: Good clean equipment Clean facility Friendly staff Fast service Reasonable pricing Estimated time renting was honest and on point Cons: Snake pin loose and kept coming off. Had to put it back several times and it cut me on one occasion If you need home repair tools for rent / anything else they offer and recommendations for fixes, All-star Equipment is where you need to be. 1-Star off due to pin screw that kept falling off and some blood shed. If it wasn't for that, 5-stars EASY! Thanks for your service and help, and may the gains be with you, always. read more

All Star Rents is absolutely fantastic. First of all they have pretty much every tool imaginable for home construction and landscaping. There's no phone tree, they just answer. The service is fantastic. They are a bunch of knowledgable and very helpful guys. And the best part is they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your order. I've only done a couple rentals with them so far and in both cases some issues came up (construction stuff, not their fault) and they took care of me and made it so easy. It's a bit of a drive from Oakland but I don't want to rent tools from anyone else. read more

This is Jose Rosales and Roberto Santana from new edge concrete and we have been renting equipment from allstars rent for about two years.I will highly recommend this rental company. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Carlos is an amazing sells person who goes above and beyond to assist you with your equipment needs. Carlos makes sure you get what you need, when you need it. I work very closely with him, always responds calls and emails even on days off. He has the best customer service we've seen in a company like this. Joe is also a great sells person/mechanic always helps with question and assistance with mechanical questions. If you have not come to rent equipment from this guys, you are all missing out. Give it a try and you will for sure come back. read more

The best rental company I have dealt with. Steve, the manager, and Carlos really do care about customer service and how to treat people in general. I was charged the half day rate of four hours after having it for 6. Do not go anywhere else but All Star in Richmond. They will do cartwheels for you. read more

David was very helpful... We needed a trencher, but had little experience using one. He made sure to go over everything with us, twice, and was friendly the entire time. While my rental order got off to a rocky start it ended with me giving them a 5 Star rating. It seems anymore that customer service is a dying art however, Steve went above and beyond to make me a happy customer and for that, I am much appreciative. I also want to give attention to Carlos who both delivered and picked up my rental, he deserves a raise for his attention to detail and friendly service. read more

The guys at this location (possibly others I main deal with this location) go above and beyond, always offer to do whatever they can to get my crew in and out of there as quick as possible, saving me as much as possible on downtime expenses. They are very experienced with the equipment the rent and have always been able to answer any of my questions when trying to figure out exactly what we need to rent. They really go the extra mile and make the in and out process of renting equipment as so easy I would never rent from any big box store again. read more

we contacted all star to rent some floor grinding equipment.. organized everything over the phone . it was supposed to be delivered to the san rafael location. when we arrived there was no sign of the equipment and after a phone call the lady tells us that shes loaded and just about to leave.. then calls back to say she cant leave and we should go to san pablo if we want it.. so like two idiots we jump in the truck and head over in rush hour traffic. we arrive, and within a minute the up sell starts.. our original quote was $450ish for the equipment.. she rings us up at $900 plus and tries to push a course on us.. we left without anything but the sense that we were just mugged. get rid of her..shes bad news read more

Great place to rent tools. Dont usually write reviews, but the customer experience warranted one. Came here after a forgettable experience at the home depot rental center. I recently rented some power on two different occasions. Both times everyone was very pleasant, helpful and patient with all my questions. They were also very flexible in making the rentals fit my schedule. I worked mostly with Jorge, but also got help from a couple of the other guys and everyone was great. Their rates also seem reasonable. I'll be back anytime I need to rent tools. read more

I am very happy with my rental experience with All Star Rents. They always have the tools I need and are very helpful. Recently I needed an articulating boom lift and not only was it delivered directly to the job site but the delivery driver (I believe his name was Steve) took the time to show me how to operate it properly and made sure I had all the safety equipment needed. With the customer service and wide arrange of tools, I don't believe I would need to go anywhere else for my rental needs. Keep up the good work. read more

You need to rent stuff and they have it, so that's good. Prices were a bit more than places in concord area but I figured the difference was worth the shorter drive. The guys working there were pretty friendly even to a weekend home worker like me. BUT they charged me more for the trailer than we agreed on by phone, when I returned it they tried to charge me for two days instead of one, and they didn't want to let me tow the trailer + bobcat with my truck because they said my truck was too small, which probably should have been discussed on the phone when the reservation was made. I'll grant them that for bigger equipment it was to small, but show me the numbers and check my tow capacity before assuming, don't just make a blanket statement that it has to be a F250 or higher, the tow capacity on newer trucks vs older trucks is a big difference and the weight of equipment is not all the same. P.S. it towed easier than the last u-haul move I helped with. read more
