hack and a liar. definitely did not give me 2,500 grafts. told me i have a scar from my first hair transplant that he will cut out along that line, remove the scar and you will still have one scar. well he never did it. i have two huge long scars along back of my head. which continuously scabs up with foliculitus or just a mess of buried follicles in the stitch joints. totally humiliating ppl staring back of your head or asking what are those scabs. the hair transplants fell out over time. this doctor is a hot mess for hair transplants read more

I live in Washington, DC and saw two dermatologists about a skin disorder which was appearing in different places on my skin. The first one tried a bunch of creams without success. I went to a second dermatologist who told me I would need to get on a life long prescription because ONE of the places would not heal. On a trip to NJ, my family suggested I try Dr. Feinberg. My experience from beginning to end was perfect. I was seen within moments of my appointment and Dr, Feinberg told me what the deal was and what had to be done. It took three visits and the problem is completely cured. read more

I am an African american female. I had my hair transplant approximately 1 year and 8 months ago and needless to say my results are not good. I had major hair loss around my hairline due to traction alepecia and I was assured that the surgery would be successful. I was forewarned that most women return for an additional surgery to achieve fuller hair but the first surgery would result in a good start. I never saw reviews/photos of other black women on his site but Dr. Feinberg assured me that he had provided this service to other black women. While I am not happy with my results I would never go back to him for another surgery. After my one year anniversay I was not contacted to come in for a followup until AFTER I called to get a copy of my records. Needless to say I did not go back. read more

I was developing a receding hairline. It slowly reached the point that I was getting a few comments from friends. Did some research and decided to go with Dr. Feinberg because of his long-standing history as a pioneer in the field and the countless results of his previous patients. I was also very impressed with the facilities and his staff when I visited for a consultation. That was nearly 6 years ago and the difference was dramatic. So much so that I forgot how bad it was until coming back for a touch up to fill in the natural loss of hair that occurs as we age. Once again the entire experience has been completely professional and comfortable. 9am appointment, I arrived at 9:05 (hit some traffic) and was taken to the procedure room within minutes. Procedure started a few min later. Dr Feinberg is a very personable/friendly individual and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Staff was great again and the private waiting room (where you go in between stages of the procedure) is a nice touch. At 55 I have a completely full head of hair that gets complements from the ladies and makes my mostly balding friends jealous! The results look completely natural and because I started before it getting too severe no one even knows I've had anything done. I highly recommend if you are on the fence to setup a consultation and see what's possible. I'm so glad I did (especially after seeing the pics from my 1st treatment). It's undoubtedly made a difference in my mental attitude which in turn makes me look and feel years younger than I am. PS - Think the ridiculously negative review from Nick R sounds like some misfit who most likely didn't follow the instructions and properly care for his transplant. I'd say take it with a grain of salt but even that's too much. If I had to bet, he wasn't even a patient, just some troll doing what they do. Thx Dr. Feinberg and staff! read more

Dr. Feinberg is a rock star - I am a 64 year old male, and I have been going to Dr. Feinberg for 25 years for a transplant appx every 5-6 years - My hair is now close to 100% transplants, and it looks 100% natural - no one would ever know. Dr. Feinberg is an artist - every hair is strategically put in place for a natural appearance - my hair is dense, and my hairline is age appropriate. The procedure is simple, and the results are amazing !! Don't wait until your hair is gone to consider a transplant - It is much easier, while you still have hair. Don't go to a discount operation (or Turkey), as you will end up with a perfectly horizontal hairline that looks exactly like a transplant. Dr. Feinberg and his staff are by far the best !! read more

I had been watching my hair recede for several years concerned with losing it all until I met Dr. Feinberg. 2 painless hair replacement procedures later and within 6-months of each I saw noticeable growth. I now enjoy a full head of hair my wife can run her hand through. I no longer have to hide my head until a baseball cap. I'm confident based on the great results and strongly recommend you consult with Dr. Feinberg and when you let him do his magic you will be glad as well. read more

This place was great until the cysts that dr Feinberg had cut out come back with my wife. Not only that we had left after waiting forever to be seen, after that we had been called immediately and greeted with an attitude. We had requested immediately our records be sent to the house. Called today to see if the records were sent, they were not and yet again greeted with a attitude by the girl at the front, called back and talked to another staff member, told them to have the records picked up. At least this time we got them. I do not recommend this place unless you want nasty staff and half done work. read more

I went to Dr. Feinberg years ago and stopped going because he overbooks his patients by hours on end. I waited for almost an hour to see him and had to leave. I made an appointment on a whim because I forgot about going to him years back. Nothing has changed. The value of time is important. Overbooking patients to sit and wait is unprofessional and a bad habit that he still has NOT improved upon. read more

Dr. Feinberg was an incredible find for me! He spent quality time with me, as most doctors do not do these days. I never felt like he was rushing or had one foot out the door. I really felt understood and he was compassionate about my issue. He gave me a helpful treatment that actually worked! And get this, he also followed up the following week to see how I was doing. I drove from New York to see him because I heard such great things about him. I'm glad I read the positive reviews, all of the people were correct. He is a gem! read more

I would not recommend Dr. Feinberg for a hair transplant at all. I had a hair transplant done by him a year ago and am not satisfied with the results at all. He is a really nice man and the procedure and staff were great however do not waste your money. You can see the before and after pictures look the same. I think my hair actually looks worse then it did before I had surgery by him. If I can save one person from making the same mistake I did. This review will be worth it. Please get your surgery done by someone else. I had my procedure a year ago by him and already need to get another hair transplant done. I will not be using him again and would highly recommend you don't either. You will just be wasting your money and will need to have the surgery again. read more

Overall, great experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, the doctor was professional and informative. I have had two hair transplants with Dr. Feinberg. One was performed the traditional way with a cut across the back of the head and the other using the Robot. (Approximately 6 years apart) Each transplant was a complete success. Dr. Feinberg and his staff are extremely accommodating and professional. Nothing but the greatest respect for this team. Thank You Dr. Feinberg. read more

I recently switched dermatologists and began seeing Dr. Feinberg at his Englewood, NJ location. In my opinion, he is everything you would want in a dermatologist. He is very personable, so you feel comfortable talking to him (and so is every member of the staff I encountered). He is also very thorough in examinations and direct with his opinions and explanations. My face is now rid of all adult acne. Dr. Feinberg is smart and aggressive with his treatment! Dr. Feinberg's office is a very nice office with ample parking, a big plus in my book!! I waited for my appointment less than 10 minutes, which is not bad at all! read more

I've been going to Feinberg my whole life and so has my entire family. So when my husband needed a dermatologist, I insisted he goes to see him. Feinberg had my husband go back 3 times, and still couldn't figure out the rash he had on his shoulders and leg. I finally gave my husband some prescription cortisone cream that seemed to clear it up. When my husband went to his final appt with Feinberg (btw -- still no conclusion on what the rash was) he simply told my husband that it was a mere coincidence that the rash cleared up with the cortisone cream and to continue to take some antibiotics that he had prescribed as a mere precaution. Also -- the receptionist is rude. read more

After seeing so many specialists in NYC, and they couldn't find a diagnosis for my skin condition, Dr Feinberg not only knew what it was, but cured it. I have been going to him since then, over 25 yrs. Yes you sometimes have to wait to see him, but he is worth it!! read more

This doctor has got to be the rudest cocky old dermatologist there is. I can't believe he's still practicing- R E T I R E!!!! I went there as a new patient and he made me wait almost 2 hours. His excuse when he finally came to see me was " well, you know that first class passengers board a plane first right , we that's how it goes here, because you don't have a great insurance , you had to wait" wait?! What ??!! Did you really say that to me??? Listen you old man, if you don't like the insurance then don't take it. Avoid this place at all cost bc this guy is a lowlife. Surprised he's still in business with his nasty attititude and old age. read more

Was recommend this doctor by a co-worker for my skin. I had atopic dermatitis in other words, eczema. I went to him and the wait experience was HORRIBLE & he as a professional should feel embarrassed to have patients waiting that long. Appt was at 3:30, got there at 3:05 filled out paperwork, 4:00 pm still sitting in the waiting room. Wasn't called into the room until 4:30 only for the nurse to say "oh the computer isn't on" turns it on and leaves saying "it'll take awhile to boot" NEVER CAME BACK! I had to leave the room and find another staff person to assist me, which she did. Still no doctor it's now 4:45. At this point, I protested to leave. I guess the doctor heard me in the hallway with the MA and said "I'm sooo sorry please come in" at which time 5:15 I'm being seen. The actual patient-doctor visit was all of 10 minutes! He said you have acne not eczema, prescribed me medication, told the nurse to give me some peel mask and left. He was very nice and apologetic. He's the first dermatologist to give me something that actually CLEARED my face. It went from 10'being the worst to a 4. Amazing and was extremely satisfied with everything he prescribed. However the waiting game is not for me and will turn me away as a patient. UPDATE: Went for a follow up visit 4/18 didn't even get to see him because I was waiting in the waiting area 40 minutes and decided to leave after being told from reception staff that I wouldn't be seen no time soon! I went to Dr. Feinberg twice to create a pretty, soft feminine hairline. I explained to him that I lost my hairline through genetics and gluing on hair pieces for years. He told me, "I know exactly what you want". I put full trust in him. When I was done the first time, my hairline went 3/4 across my head and just stopped. After complaining , he told me that I had to do it a second time anyway. He had to admit that it did not look good and fill the space in at, no extra charge. I did go back a second time to finish creating this female hairline in the front of my head and , one year later I had a receding, horse shoe shaped masculine hairline. The same pattern he does on everybody, male or female. It was supposed to be two thousand grafts but it was nowhere near. It was a waste of a lot of money. As far as a dermatologist, he is wonderful. For creating hairlines I would NOT recommend him. He is not creative. I wound up going to Dr. Rosen in Montclair ,NJ. He did two thousand grafts in one session and I can see the creativity and what two thousand grafts should really look like. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with my beautiful, feminine new hairline. read more

If you want to feel like you are a standby passenger on a completely full airline flight, this is your man! He kept me waiting an hour and 15 minutes, and then greeted me with a prepared apology speech. He may not diagnose the problem correctly. And, God forbid trying to follow-up on the telephone. When I did, his numbskull nurse told me that he doesn't return patient phone calls! I got better service at American Airlines. read more

This review is for a male hair transplant. I am a 62 year old male who had my first hair transplant about 12 years ago, before robotics, and before hair transplants were a very common procedure. I found Dr. Feinberg randomly via the internet. No reviews back then. I was just very lucky to find him. Hair was very important to me. Even in the era of shaved heads. That's not for everyone, constantly looking in the mirror, thinking just stabilize and stop falling out, I was really bothered thinking that was the end of my hair for the rest of my life. Then I met Dr. Feinberg. During the initial consultation I felt totally confident in his ability and experience and booked an appointment immediately. He made a point of indicating he suggested a series of transplants over the years rather than a massive transplant. Some doctors suggest a massive and very expensive transplant. In retrospect a very good recommendation. I proceeded to have 3 transplants, about 1 every 2 years or so. I will say he is/was not a proponent of Propecia, but I asked for it none the less after the second transplant, and I still take it today. In my case some of the transplanted hair fell out after a few years. When I went on Propecia, not a hair in the sink. In fact I was given a generic once and within a month my hair started to fall out. Back to Propecia and not a hair in the sink. If I didn't experience that first hand, I wouldn't believe it myself. There are some side effects, but depending on your age, Viagra, another wonder drug, takes care of that. Not so sure you want to start Propecia in your twenties or thirties though. Back to Dr. Feinberg. I refer to him as Beverley Hills quality. No one who meets me ever thinks I had a transplant. He has been the most significant impact on my post 50 years of life. I was not going to be a happy person with male pattern baldness. I am so grateful to him. I am so lucky to have found him randomly years ago. He is one of the biggest impacts of my satisfaction in my appearance as I try to age gracefully and be the best I can be. Thank you Dr. Feinberg. I will forever be grateful to you. About 3 years ago, at age 59, I went back just to bring my hair line down a bit and had the robotic procedure. It made a tremendous difference in my appearance and the procedure is much more civilized. Although you harvest more hair with the traditional/old approach, I would probably recommend the robotic. You need a lot of confidence in your doctor for the old approach. I realize everyone's experience is different, but I will forever be grateful to Dr. Feinberg and the impact he has had on the later years of my life. Thank you Dr. Feinberg and you staff. His staff is also very much involved in the process and they are very talented also. read more
