Great little sandwich shop in Anoka! These panini sandwiches are made fresh to order and was delivered hot and delicious. I opted for the Du Nord - which is like a Ruben. The corned beef was so tender and the sauce was amazing. Pickles had a little kick to them, very yummy. I can't wait to go back and try other options!

Another visit to Herban Wolf Deli. You guys just blow all other sandwich shops out of the water. Still giving 5 stars but 2 things I found I didn't like. This was the first sandwich I've ordered that came with arugula. I don't mind green leaves in a sandwich but it had quite a few woody branch twigs that I had to remove from my mouth. Also, beer cheese was the soup special for the week. I love beer cheese soup. However, it was broth based. Really runny like water. I prefer thick, creamier soups. So that was a bust. I'll l need to remember to ask next time. Tried a new side... potato salad (red, skin on). Not my mom's... her's is the best, obviously. But this was 2nd best. Way better than anything you'd find at the grocery store.

This sandwich was incredible! I love that they switch up their menu frequency too. Perfect lunch spot while walking around downtown Anoka. Dill pickle pasta salad was also a hit.

Are you looking for the perfect sandwich? Look no further. Nestled in the heart of downtown Anoka, is Herban Wolf Deli. Inside is a cozy, yet modernized seating area. I ordered the Ostara and decided to try their pickle based pasta salad that was in the cooler - and both were absolutely fantastic. The sandwich had a perfect balance of all the ingredients, and not to mention, the sandwich is HUGE! The staff was friendly and upbeat, and I can't wait to come back and dine in next time.

Cute little place, walk up to the counter to order. The lady at the register was helpful and patient. We got the bramble and green man. With a side of the pickleback pasta. Also a Key lime bar. The food is delicious, we all loved the bramble. If you like pickles the pasta salad is a must. The key lime bar was also very good. My only complaint is it's a little expensive especially with no side included with the sandwiches. $48.66

We were at Ginny Bites around the corner and decided to stop in for lunch. We arrived just after 11am and it was slow, by 11:30am it really fills up. We had the VooDoo which is like a Muffaletta and excellent. My husband raved about the Ostara. Both were served panini style and hot. VooDoo (Genoa salami, smoked ham, pepperoni, fresh olive mix, smoked mozzarella and swiss served on rosemary schiacciata) Ostara (Smoked turkey, hickory smoked bacon, fontina, avocado and house-made creamy basil served on rosemary schiacciata) Service is friendly. Order at the counter and then have a seat.

Excellent food!! I really liked the decor/ambience too, very woodsy forest vibes. I got the spicy tuna sandwich and I loved it! Spicier than I thought and delicious. One of my favorite sandwiches I've gotten around town. The menu was a little unclear. I didn't see any sides listed anywhere and frankly for $17 there should be some chips with the sandwich! Soda is also sold separate but plentiful options. The menu mentioned a combo of half sandwich and soup but only one soup was listed. Not sure if that was all they had for soup. Service was excellent though! I would definitely go back!

My goodness this place NEVER disappoints-from the regular menu to the weekly specials including the spicy tuna, I've always been delighted. Portions are huge so come hungry - their pickle back pasta salad is a must try or if you're too full, get it to go! Anoka staple and hidden gem!!

Walked into this Deli without knowing what to expect. To be honest I didn't even know this place had opened up. Definitely a great addition to downtown Anoka. It's a cute little place with friendly staff. We ordered three different sandwiches and the wolf dog of the week. The wolf dog was devoured in no time. It was by far my favorite out of all the sandwiches we got. I only remember two of the sandwiches we got. We got the Woden which had Smoked Mozzarella, Fontina, Swiss, Sun dried tomato and Basil pesto on Sourdough. You can add meat if you like. Second sandwich was the Ravn with Pastrami, Provolone, red onion, pepperoncini, oil, balsamic, Dijon mustard and herbed Mayo on rosemary schiacciata. They also have pasta salads available. I am such a sucker for pasta salads. We got three different kinds of pasta salads. The pickleback pasta salad, deviled egg pasta salad and Elote pasta salad. All three were delicious but the pickleback was my absolute favorite with crunchy pieces of pickles, dill, Smoked gouda and lots of love put into it. All in all everything was good and we will certainly be back.

First time trying the Herban Wolf Deli and we're definitely going to go back again. Located in an old building in Anoka with some other neat business, they are using the space in an interesting and welcoming way. You'll walk up a ramp to the order counter and a dine in area. Seating area faces the street with good sized windows. We arrived shortly after they opened and there were people waiting for to go orders and people dining in, including some Sheriffs, so you know the food is good. We were greeted right away by the counter staff and I shared that it was our first time and they gave us a great in service about the menu and specials. They have a daily special called the Wolf Dog ($9) and we ordered the last one available. Each day is a different Wolf Dog option, so be sure to look at the small board by the kitchen window or ask. Today's WOLF DOG OF THE WEEK: the Reykja- ¼ lb all beef dog, topped with hickory smoked pork, BBQ sauce, pickle chips, house-made coleslaw, crispy fried onions and smoked paprika We wolfed that down and were hard pressed to share any with our dog. We ordered the Ravn ($13) sandwich too and that was good. Cherrywood smoked pastrami, provolone, red onion, golden pepperoncini, oil, balsamic, Dijon mustard and herbed mayo on rosemary schiacciata. The bread was a bit crispy for recent dental work, but the flavor was wonderful and aromatic. Don't forget to turn around and see all the delicious salads and other tasty take home foods. Lots of Minnesota businesses represented. Here's a sampling: Soup of the Day - $6/cup Pickleback Pasta Salad (pickles, dill, smoked gouda, magic) - $6 (8oz) $11 (16oz if available) Bacon Blue Cheese Potato Salad - $6 (8 oz) $11 (16oz if available) Hal's Chips - $3 T-Rex Cookies - $6 Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

Honestly....i feel like it was Oscar Mayer meat with an over abundance of toppings and flavors that ended up making it bland.

Ordered delivery from this Capriotti's because I very much had a hankering for a sandwich. Perusing the menu showed it could be difficult to make a selection. I would eat any of their sandwiches except the tuna. I could not make up my mind, so I ordered the Capastrami and the Bobbi. First, I will upon receiving these two sandwiches - they are large! I mean, really large. I ordered a small Bobbi, a medium Capastrami, and a regular order of fries (there were a ton of fries too). A small was almost too much for me, and the medium was certainly a shareable, or an eat half now, and eat the other half later in the week situation. The Sandwiches themselves were good. The Bobbi with the turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce was excellent. More importantly, they offered a side of gravy. That really put it over the top for me. Who doesn't like gravy, right? I dipped everything, including the mountain of fries, into the gravy (everybody in the pool!). Definitely ordering this one again if available. The Capastrami would have been amazing if I had been able to eat some of that from my delivery. Even the following day, it was terrific. For a chain deli, it is much better than the usual suspects we have for chain sandwich shops, and this one will be first on the list when I want a sandwich.

The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often.
