We were inside for about 30-40 minutes and were finishing our drinks and chips before planning to look at the goods for sale. Staff then approached us that an "elderly" person who was standing nearby could not sit outside because it was too hot and requested we give them our table. We were told we could finish outside. I am currently pregnant in my third trimester so the heat is rough/dangerous for me as well and I thought this was pretty inappropriate. We were still finishing the food and drinks we had purchased and tipped on before then buying more items from the shelves. Instead we left. Who asks a pregnant person to go sit outside in over 90 Degree heat? There was no sign or notice given to us that there was a time limit on the tables and we hadn't even finished our food and drinks. I got the Wagyu chopped meat sandwich. For $30 there was not enough meat and too much bread. The matcha was not great, much better options very close by. Definitely overpriced, overhyped, not worth the terrible parking situation, and the service was horrible.

If you go to Miami, make Emissary Cafe in Coconut Grove a priority. This was my first trip to…read moreMiami, and a friend from San Diego told me there was one place I absolutely had to visit....Emissary. They were right. The coffee was incredible, the food was perfection, and the staff were unbelievably kind and welcoming. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. It honestly felt like it had been grown in someone's backyard garden. I had the tuna salad with seven-minute eggs (amazing), and my son got the breakfast sandwich... which my husband claimed he didn't want until he took one bite and immediately wanted to come back before we flew home. On our second visit, they had sold out of the brioche bun for the sandwich and we were so disappointed but one of the staff members (owner, manager, or actual angel) overheard me talking to my husband and offered to make it on different bread. They went completely above and beyond, and the sandwich was still unbelievable. Amazing food, amazing coffee, and customer service that truly made us feel cared for. We'll be talking about Emissary long after this trip.

It's Vibe is European Cafe mixed with West house coffee houses while still honoring Miami's ventanita sensibility. I walked from our Midtown condo right at opening just to get a cup (large please) of latte with their housemade vanilla. 90% of the time my coffees come out way too sweet and this morning' cup actually had a perfect balance to it. I was their first customer and announced that walking in and was greeted by Ava and Andre "the giant" (she self proclaimed) with two welcoming smiles I didn't try any of their pastries or pressed sandwiches but they serve those as well. My overall score is 4.4 and definitely recommend this place as a stop if you're in Coconut Grove for a few days

So glad this place came across my social media a while back. We went here for breakfast this…read moremorning, and decided to try a little bit of everything. So glad we did! You get seated, then order at the counter, then they bring you food and drinks to you. It was fairly crowded, but didn't take terribly long for our things to come out. I had an iced vanilla latte, above average as far a iced vanilla lattes go. Great flavor, not overly sweet! Pancakes: Nutella with Kit Kat - for the kids, but we all tried it! Very rich, very thick, definitely want to have a drink on hand if you attempt this stack. The little ones were very happy with this option! Dubai Chocolate - the chocolate syrup really helps them go down without needing to add maple syrup. Very sweet, very yummy, the fresh fruit on top is a nice compliment. Favorite of the other 3 adults, some for texture, some for flavor, really a good Tiramisu - so light and fluffy, great flavor, the mascarpone cream was a nice light addition and really completed the flavor palate. My favorite!! Nice little crunch, not excessively sweet, and loaded with toppings. To be clear, they were all super sweet and didn't need syrup for flavor, but couldn't hurt to increase the moisture because the pancakes were very fluffy, and all the toppings were generous, but by the time you got to the bottom of the stack most of the toppings were consumed - we might be a little gluttonous... but this is the hold out on the fifth star, the bottom pancakes only had toppings on the margin that was exposed. The breakfast burrito had lots of fillings in it, I tried a bite, friends were sharing it, but there was plenty for everyone to try! One person ordered a croissant sandwich, the two of them that tried it really enjoyed it. All portions are very generous! For adults and two kids couldn't finish everything. Would definitely come here again!

We were immediately hit with an unpleasant odor that can only be described as a dirty mop smell. When ordering at the counter, we couldn't help but notice how unclean the coffee preparation area looked. That alone was enough for us to skip coffee altogether, which says a lot for a brunch spot. Service was just okay, nothing particularly memorable either way. The food itself was also underwhelming, especially considering the price point. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't justify the cost. The pancakes, in particular, missed the mark. They were dense and thick, more like traditional pancakes, when we were expecting something lighter, fluffier, and more soufflé-like. The eggs Benedict were average at best and didn't stand out in any way. The breakfast platter was probably the highlight of the meal, but even that wasn't enough to redeem the overall experience. All in all, it was a disappointing visit, and unfortunately, not somewhere we'd return.

We went on a Saturday…read moremorning to stop in for a quick coffee to-go and it took over 30 minutes when there were only two people (our friends who came with us) ahead of us and not too many people dining in. The primary issue was the staffing, as it seemed maybe they were also working on a lot of mobile orders. But another issue was I attempted to use the $5 coupon code, which they literally have an advertisement for right in front of their register (see picture). This appeared to greatly confuse every worker there and of course I pointed them to the sign right in front of them. The person working the register called over another worker to look at this coupon code, who called in someone from behind the kitchen (the manager?), who then called someone to ask about it...this was like a 10-15 min ordeal. Why would you advertise a coupon right in front of your register and not train anyone how to use it? Not a good first experience and probably will think twice before returning.
