Very lame. We paid 28 dollars for 2 sandwiches that where not really good at all. The meat tasted quite cheap and the flavor was very bland. Overall was like eating at a school cafeteria. The service was okay nothing to mention. But I will give that the place has a nice ambiance. Hidden inside the large glass building, it is on 1st floor. Excellent customer service. Food comes out fast. Food is ok, not the greatest. The taco salad had a taco shell with meat inside surrounded by a large bed of lettuce and veggies. It was honestly too much food and it wasn't the best. Fideo was served hot but still ok. Avocado chicken wrap is ok but not enough avocado inside. California club is very large but nothing uniquely special. Food is decent if you work in the building but not good enough to go out of your way to find it. Update: ordered the egg white croissant and it is pretty good just very very greasy to where the bread is soggy. Ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. They weren't seasoned, very plain, and cold as if just taken out of the fridge. Quality is definitely lacking. read more

Tried out this small quaint sandwich shop. Absolutely awesome. Got there kinda of late so no muffuletta for me but had a super delicious club sandwich. They had a great sandwich menu, salads and goodies. Prices were great also, about $3.00 less than I've seen elsewhere. The owner is friendly and enjoyed my chat with him. He is a very experienced restaurateur of many years. Wish him and his staff success after getting hit hard by this terrible COVID pandemic. You need to try this great place. read more

It's kind of hidden but really a great place for lunch. The portions are huge and most of the items taste great. When you enter the gate, you can park right in front of the main entrance of the athletic center or drive around to get to the front entrance of Herb and Pickle. If you go through the main entrance there will be signs directing you to the sandwich shop. I've been fortunate to go with friends a few times so I got to try a bunch of different things. I've liked all the sandwiches I have tried. My favorite is probably the chipotle chicken. But you really can't go wrong with any of them. They are all stuffed full of meat and veggies. The Greek for example is full of olives, feta and chicken. The bread for the sandwiches is also incredibly tasty. Crusty outside and chewy inside. In comparison, my favorite sandwiches are at Sandwich de Paris. The bread there is perfect. However, I've hated every soup I have had the misfortune to sample at Sandwich de Paris. They just do a terrible job with soups. Herb and Pickle on the other hand does a stellar soup and a stellar sandwich. The chicken tortilla soup I had today was aces. It was full of cheese, chicken and tortillas. I'll definitely be back to work my way through their extensive menu. Good thing they validate parking (make sure you ask)!! read more

This deli has the best sandwiches in town. It can be difficult to find, but is located in the Texas Center for Athletes. Everything is homemade down to the bread, I recommend trying the bacon jammer, easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They will go above and beyond to ensure each customer is satisfied. Really enjoying this place. It's about 150 yards from my work. Thus far have been really impressed and will continue exploring the menu. I would try two breakfast tacos the chilaquiles and "el guapo". They are a primarily a sandwich shop but I would recommend the breakfast. For lunch I would recommend the chipotle chicken sandwich and the ham and cheese. Get a pasta salad as a side. Hint hint- they need a Mac and cheese dish. read more

The girl at the front counter who was wearing glasses could barely crack a smile the entire time. When employees don't look happy to be there, it turns the customer (particularly me) off. I think I may have just had the best BLT in my whole life! Made on flatbread the veggies are cold, crisp, and fresh and the bacon was thick and hot and there was plenty of it. My order came out in a matter of minutes and was worth every penny! I am in physical therapy in the same building so it is wonderful to have such an amazing lunch between appointments. read more

This small deli is a hidden delicious gem. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich. It's a large portion full of flavor, with fresh avocado. It's a lie hard to find at first, but follow the signs that say deli. The food came out very quickly barely say down and my name was already called. We had this business cater an event for our church gala and the food that was presented at the taste testing was not the food we had the venue. All our guest said the food was horrible! (Let me be clear our audience consists of majority educated Black and Hispanic people. This shouldn't matter because the food was terrible all the same). The chicken, pasta, and asparagus was over cooked. We asked for stuffed 6oz. pieces of chicken and we got a 3oz. unstuffed pieces of chicken that I could not even put my knife through. The caters served unsweetened tea with no sugar, there was no condiments (i.e. butter, salt or pepper) to put on the bland food. They say it wasn't requested originally but isn't it your job to ask? The catering team dropped so many dishes, during the event, I lost count. They prepared our food with their bare hands instead of tongs and didn't refill any drinks at my table, that I saw. I was mortified by this experience and felt others should know that this was the worst catering I've ever seen in my life. Do better Herb and Pickle and if hosting that many people was too much for your establishment you should have been up front about that in the beginning. read more

I wouldn't give them a star after yesterdays disaster. I ordered a cheeseburger yesterday and it took almost 25 minutes to prepare. I could of done it myself. I asked the cashier friendly young lady great attitude if I could speak with the cook because it was taking long. A young man with a beard came out and spoke with me and apologized for the wait and seemed very concerned about my order and went back to the kitchen and told the short Hispanic guy that I was waiting.
