I just received the best baby's shower cake ever! Absolutely adorable and perfect. I left the creativity up to the professionals and she surely showed off! My daughters baby shower cake was from Temis. It was a red velvet cake with buttercreme frosting. I have to admit I am not a big fan of the red velvet however this cake was very good. Loved the presentation. Looked like a gift with a bow. The frosting was delicious with butter not grease. Not overly sweet. Loved the gold letters. Overall kept going back for more read more

Best Cake ever! The taste was immaculate not to sweet and the frosting was creamy. The look of the cake was wonderful. It was for the baby shower of our son and it really captured the theme we were having. The owner was kind and was very soft spoken, but understood exactly what we were envisioning. I put in a day of request for a dozen cupcakes for a Spurs player's birthday and Temi was wonderful and was able to fulfill the order quickly. My daughter sketched out her dream birthday cake and Temi's managed to bring it to life. When I called a few days before the party to confirm how many people the cake would feed (stressing over a growing guest list), she asked me how many it needed to feed and was able to adjust our original plans (plus have a beautiful conversation about how it's a very good thing when our children have lots of friends who love them ). So where to start.....I had ordered a cake earlier that week for a girlfriend's 60th Birthday party and on Friday night the lady backed out due to family emergancy, I'm left in shock with no cake. I called Temi's Cakery on Saturday morning asking if she could make me a cake for 10 people, of course I had an idea of what I wanted but, didn't want to push my luck since I needed it that day. Whatever she can do was fine with me. WOW OH WOW, showed up @11am. came back @6:30pm. and picked up the most beautiful cake and boy it was delicious !!!!!!! We stopped by on Friday evening for a few cupcakes - everything looked delicious, the choice was TOUGH! We asked for a butter pecan cupcake - turns out that they had run out of that one, but we were given TWO cupcakes of a similar flavor to try! So nice! The flavor? Butter pecan-coconut....and let me tell you, friends, they were absolutely DELICIOUS! Next level good!! The cupcakes were moist and yummy, the flavors were outstanding and not overpowering, and the frosting? I had a very disappointing experience. The owner first gave me a price, then a month later decided to add taxes that never where included in the original quote. When I questioned it, she became defensive and rude instead of owning the mistake. She says 'everywhere charges taxes" and told me shed 'eat it up", like she was doing me a favor - even though the error was on her end. I cancelled the order with plenty of notice, but she dragged her feet refunding my money. It took far too long, and every step of the way I was met with bad attitude and poor communication. She constantly talked over me and never let me explain my side. Then she throws in that she's a "Christian" -- like that somehow makes her behavior okay. So what does that make me? Being a professional and respectful business owner has noting to do with religion --it's about treating people right. Save yourself the stress. I would not recommend this business to anyone read more

My new fave bakery in town. I stopped by in the morning and got two cupcakes, cookies and meat pies just to sample a little bit of everything and everything was beyond amazing. My bf is from Nigeria and said the meat pies tasted like home. He loved them so much we went back later that day to pick up a box of meat pies.lol and the sweet owner even gave us some of the chicken ones she just prepped for us to bake at home. I was in need of a bakery for cakes, cupcakes, and cookies and so glad I came across Temi's in my Google search. I had a big order for a retirement party I was organizing for my place of work. After two other bakeries were not available, I searched a little farther from my location and found Temi's. And so glad I did. They have the best and huge variety of flavors to choose from. I ordered a custom cake, six dozen cupcakes, and six dozen cookies - in a bunch of different flavors. Let me tell you that they were a big hit! The cakes were delicious and moist. The cookies were huge and flavorful. All flavors of cupcakes and cookies were incredible and there was not a single crumb left. Ade, the owner, was so great to work with and communicative throughout. my sister in law booked this place for my bridal shower, we stopped by before hand to taste the treats prior to. it was jaw dropping delicious! i wish i took pictures of everything we got. the cupcakes are delicious and a good size not too small just right. the ladies inside were also so helpful and sweet to my family and i. it's a small shop but don't be fooled it's very girly and cute. i'm so excited to try more treats on my bridal shower day. read more

I ordered jollof rice, egusi, two orders of efo riro, and plantains, my entire order was without protein as my family does not eat meat but my total was still close to $80. After driving another 30 minutes home, I opened my food and was extremely disappointed. The jollof rice was literally burnt, with burnt rice stuck together. The egusi and efo riro portions were less than a quarter of the container. I'm being charged $20 for soup with no protein that is a 3 spoon fulls. I immediately called the restaurant to complain. I was asked to take pictures and send them to the store, which I did. I was then apologized to and told that they would replace my order. A few days later, I called to arrange the replacement, and initially they acted as though they had no idea what I was talking about. Then I was told they would only replace the jollof rice, which is completely different from what I was told when I originally complained. I was eventually transferred to the manager, who told me that replacing the food was too expensive and that they would only replace the jollof. This was especially frustrating because I was previously told that my entire order would be replaced. The manager also told me that they had reduced their food portions. If that is the case, customers should be informed before ordering, especially when they are being charged $20 for a container that is less than a quarter full with no protein. The efo riro was also not cooked properly. I have ordered from this restaurant 2-3 times a month, so I was a regular customer. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled has completely changed my view of the restaurant. The food was disappointing, the portions were extremely small for the prices, and the customer service and follow-through were even more disappointing. I am also disputing the charges because what I was promised when I initially complained is not being honored. I was told my order would be replaced, but now the restaurant is refusing to honor what was promised and is only offering to replace the jollof. After being a repeat customer, this experience has left me extremely disappointed. I will not be returning. I then went back to check the menu and yes looks like I was completely over charged the prices show $10 for the soup while I was charged $20, Will also file a BBB Complaint

I am late providing this review, however, I had to take time to do so. I ordered a cake for a 40th birthday party on January 1st. I reached out to Temi's on the Tuesday prior and not only did she agree to make the cake, but because she would be closed due to the holiday, she agreed to make my cake and to meet me at the shop with my cake. Talk about awesome customer service. Not only is the customer service excellent, but the cake was also absolutely wonderful. It looked great and tasted even better. I couldn't have been more pleased. From start to finish, my experience with this bakery was just amazing! Unsure of what flavor to order for my 18th birthday, I went in for a cake tasting and got to try Thursday's delicious daily flavors. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, I felt very comfortable with the ambiance of the place! The Red Velvet Cake was beyond delicious--moist, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the buttercream frosting, which was smooth and not overly sweet. I also got a cup of my new favorite soda, Starry. They serve that to me and tiny cans when I had my shoulder replaced. I've loved it ever since. But, I digress. My sandwich was very good. I prefer the pastrami to be a little bit fattier, but these days, most places serve it on the lean side. The hot German potato salad was not like any I had ever had, but I found it to be very pleasant. I would order it again. All of the sandwiches come with a free dessert. This was a delicious little slice of cake that had a raspberry filling. I really liked it. After we finished lunch, we went, went over to the bakery side and started calling out things we wanted to try. I got a pistachio cream horn and a lemon bar. My son got a kolache and a loaf of the challa bread. Fortunately, for him, they had some in the freezer. You usually have to order three days earlier. My wife got some kind of little cookie for herself and some decorated cookies for Halloween to give to my other son and his wife. I was amazed at how low the total price was for everything. I was convinced they had made a mistake and forgotten to charge for something, but my wife went through it and said it was correct. I will go back there in the future for sure. I liked everything about it from the food, the baked goods, and the wonderful people working in there. I just wish I had been there sometime with my mother. Plus, I wonder why she never brought any baked goods home with her!

Since I wanted a special order of margarita cupcakes, I sent her an email to see if that would be possible. I received a quick and enthusiastic yes! Oh wow were her cupcakes fabulous - and she told me when she delivered that this was her first time making them - you wouldn't have known that by how perfect they were, down to the small slice of real sugared lime on top. My colleagues raved and several may have had more than two cupcakes when I wasn't looking. Her frosting was the perfect balance of sweet without being heavy. One colleague even ordered another dozen (in a different flavor) the following week. And all of my colleagues were still taking about the margarita cupcakes in our final day in town.
