My daughters baby shower cake was from Temis. It was a red velvet cake with buttercreme frosting. I have to admit I am not a big fan of the red velvet however this cake was very good. Best Cake ever! The taste was immaculate not to sweet and the frosting was creamy. The look of the cake was wonderful. It was for the baby shower of our son and it really captured the theme we were having. The owner was kind and was very soft spoken, but understood exactly what we were envisioning. My daughter sketched out her dream birthday cake and Temi's managed to bring it to life. When I called a few days before the party to confirm how many people the cake would feed (stressing over a growing guest list), she asked me how many it needed to feed and was able to adjust our original plans (plus have a beautiful conversation about how it's a very good thing when our children have lots of friends who love them ). I came across this business on Uber Eats when I was craving something sweet. I ordered the strawberry cupcake and the desth by chocolate cupcake. They were large in size and honestly the best cupcakes I've had in a really really long time. The strawberry was my favorite. Both cupcakes were very soft and tasted freshly made. We stopped by on Friday evening for a few cupcakes - everything looked delicious, the choice was TOUGH! We asked for a butter pecan cupcake - turns out that they had run out of that one, but we were given TWO cupcakes of a similar flavor to try! So nice! The flavor? Butter pecan-coconut....and let me tell you, friends, they were absolutely DELICIOUS! Next level good!! The cupcakes were moist and yummy, the flavors were outstanding and not overpowering, and the frosting? Well, if I was a poet, I would be composing an ode of adoration about the frosting...it was THAT good. Do not sleep on this place - everything is outstanding!!! I had a very disappointing experience. The owner first gave me a price, then a month later decided to add taxes that never where included in the original quote. When I questioned it, she became defensive and rude instead of owning the mistake. She says 'everywhere charges taxes" and told me shed 'eat it up", like she was doing me a favor - even though the error was on her end. I cancelled the order with plenty of notice, but she dragged her feet refunding my money. It took far too long, and every step of the way I was met with bad attitude and poor communication. She constantly talked over me and never let me explain my side. Then she throws in that she's a "Christian" -- like that somehow makes her behavior okay. So what does that make me? Being a professional and respectful business owner has noting to do with religion --it's about treating people right. Save yourself the stress. I would not recommend this business to anyone read more

My new fave bakery in town. I stopped by in the morning and got two cupcakes, cookies and meat pies just to sample a little bit of everything and everything was beyond amazing. My bf is from Nigeria and said the meat pies tasted like home. I was in need of a bakery for cakes, cupcakes, and cookies and so glad I came across Temi's in my Google search. I had a big order for a retirement party I was organizing for my place of work. After two other bakeries were not available, I searched a little farther from my location and found Temi's. And so glad I did. They have the best and huge variety of flavors to choose from. I ordered a custom cake, six dozen cupcakes, and six dozen cookies - in a bunch of different flavors. Let me tell you that they were a big hit! The cakes were delicious and moist. The cookies were huge and flavorful. All flavors of cupcakes and cookies were incredible and there was not a single crumb left. Ade, the owner, was so great to work with and communicative throughout. my sister in law booked this place for my bridal shower, we stopped by before hand to taste the treats prior to. it was jaw dropping delicious! i wish i took pictures of everything we got. the cupcakes are delicious and a good size not too small just right. the ladies inside were also so helpful and sweet to my family and i. it's a small shop but don't be fooled it's very girly and cute. i'm so excited to try more treats on my bridal shower day. read more

The broth was the perfect mix of sweet and savory, and adding a little chili oil? Chef's kiss. Everything came out fresh and piping hot, especially the chicken wings. They had a slightly strong vinegar smell at first, and I was a little suspicious, but one bite later, I was minding my business and tearing them up! Crispy, flavorful, and so good! San Antonio definitely knows how to throw down when it comes to Vietnamese food!

I am late providing this review, however, I had to take time to do so. I ordered a cake for a 40th birthday party on January 1st. I reached out to Temi's on the Tuesday prior and not only did she agree to make the cake, but because she would be closed due to the holiday, she agreed to make my cake and to meet me at the shop with my cake. Talk about awesome customer service. Not only is the customer service excellent, but the cake was also absolutely wonderful. It looked great and tasted even better. I couldn't have been more pleased. The cake was a hit. Temi's will forever be my go-to bakery. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. read more

From start to finish, my experience with this bakery was just amazing! Unsure of what flavor to order for my 18th birthday, I went in for a cake tasting and got to try Thursday's delicious daily flavors. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, I felt very comfortable with the ambiance of the place! The Red Velvet Cake was beyond delicious--moist, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the buttercream frosting, which was smooth and not overly sweet. Their attention to detail and customer service made the entire process enjoyable. I'll definitely be ordering from them for all my future events. Highly recommend! read more

For our social distance meet up we each brought something, champagne, glasses and me - "fancy cake"! It was the theme of our night "fancy cake"! I had warned the girls that we were going to be having Oreo tres leches cupcakes, which for any San Antonio native that already sounds mouth watering. We get there, set up and I nonchalantly open the box. There was gasp, there was screeches, there was literal tears (the happy ones). After weeks of being cooped up and not having any interaction, these cupcakes were a physical emotion overload. When I tell you the details on presentation alone were just ... perf. The gold flakes embodied our celebratory night. The sprinkles was the mix of our unique friendship. And the pipet of creamy goodness was a toast to good things coming our way. On to the cakes (don't hate me for the build up) - Delicious. Moist. Extravagant. Crowd pleasers. They are served best cold (obviously). The inside is a yummy juicy cake sponge with a lot of flavor, then if you dare squeeze the pipet of extra tres leches it's even more delicious succulent. The icing is a lightly fluffed Oreo flavor. It's legitimately perfect. The saying, "icing on top of the cupcake", comes from this icing. The sprinkles, Hershey's kiss, pipet, extra love, etc that was placed on top was all a special touch from the Gorda Bakes herself. She knew we were celebrating and wanted to make it special and unique for us. For that alone - 5 stars. Two hand claps. And a standing ovation. Be gorda. Be great. Can't wait for my next order.

Since I wanted a special order of margarita cupcakes, I sent her an email to see if that would be possible. I received a quick and enthusiastic yes! Oh wow were her cupcakes fabulous - and she told me when she delivered that this was her first time making them - you wouldn't have known that by how perfect they were, down to the small slice of real sugared lime on top. My colleagues raved and several may have had more than two cupcakes when I wasn't looking. Her frosting was the perfect balance of sweet without being heavy. One colleague even ordered another dozen (in a different flavor) the following week. And all of my colleagues were still taking about the margarita cupcakes in our final day in town. Thanks so much Gloria for a wonderfully easy ordering experience and truly delish cupcakes!

Last time I came here it was about $22 for a dozen cookies, some cupcakes and a lemon bar. Out of that cost, the cookies were $10/dozen, lemon bar $3.75/ea and cupcakes were $4/ea. Also "promotions" don't seem to be universally known. On this specific visit, they gave me a 13th cookie free (baker's dozen) but other times this is not the case. Compare that to the other bakery I venture to downtown - they don't do cookies or lemon bars but their cupcakes are $3.25/ea or $1.50/ea for day old. They're also larger in size.
