She tailored the shorts exactly to my specifications, took in a couple of inches, and now they fit perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I received a text saying my dress was ready, but when I arrived they brought out a completely different piece of clothing even after I clearly described my dress. Turns out they had mixed up the name tags between my dress and someone else's. I ended up going to the back with them and immediately spotted my dress myself. I pointed it out and they asked if I was sure it was mine, which was a little strange. Then they asked me to try it on. At first I thought they just wanted to confirm the alterations looked right, but it turned out they wanted to see if it fit me to determine whether it was actually my dress. Thankfully it fit like a glove. Even after that, they still seemed unsure so I showed Yelp messages I had previously sent with photos of the dress, along with my receipt and even how much I paid. I usually throw receipts away, so thank goodness I still had it. After confirming in multiple different ways, they finally let me take my dress home. Another woman was also there picking up clothing after receiving a text notification and they were struggling to locate her item too, so it didn't seem like an isolated issue. Overall, I think the tailoring work itself is solid, but the shop felt pretty disorganized. The guy working there did apologize before I left, which I appreciated, but the whole process of having to repeatedly prove the dress was mine was definitely frustrating.

If it takes too much time read simple notes, you could have looked at pictures with patch placement to confirm before sewing. 4. I never would have agreed to closing the main pocket, you should have said you couldn't do it and I would have not place patches in that location. 5. You are not being truthful and extremely insulting. 6. Karma is real.

When I purchased the dress, I specifically asked Kelly, the owner, if certain adjustments could be made, and she assured me they could. At my fittings, I raised concerns about the fit and alterations, but things continued to get worse. At one fitting, I was placed in the back in this little room where the seamstresses work on dresses because Kelly was overbooked, which was disappointing because I wasn't getting the full experience, but I was still willing to trust the process. At the next fitting, the dress was sliding down so bad. Kelly insisted the torso needed to be taken in, despite the dress already being very tight and me knowing I wouldn't be able to move if it were any tighter. There were also other quality concerns with the alterations. After that fitting, Kelly contacted my mom and decided to refund the alteration cost and have us go elsewhere because she didn't think she could make us happy. This was only one month before my wedding. I wasn't that upset because I just wasn't happy with the work and was considering going to someone else anyways. We took the dress to a seamstress with over 40 years of experience, who identified significant fit issues (way too big at the top and way too tight at the torso- which is exactly what I'd been telling Olha and Kelly all along) and it needed to be completely deconstructed and reconstructed to fit properly. Because this was so close to the wedding, my mom and I ultimately decided to purchase an off-the-rack dress that required minimal alterations. It was heartbreaking because I truly loved my original dress, but the alterations had left it in a condition that made it impractical to wear. I've since tried contacting Kelly about a refund for the dress itself, as the alterations left the gown needing extensive and significantly more expensive work than standard alterations. Unfortunately, I've received no resolution. As a bride, your wedding dress is incredibly important, and this experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. This was the worst part of my wedding planning process and this should've been one of the best parts. On a final note, Kelly also blocked me from the shop's Instagram after I voiced my concerns and emailed her about the situation. ‍ Overall, gorgeous dresses in this store but just in the wrong hands. Definitely do not recommend for alterations
