Got a like-new Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens for $299. Seriously. He knocked off $50 because my budget was $300. This store is full of goodies for amazing prices. I have no idea where the hell I was (mostly because I don't live here), but I have a feeling this is near the middle of BFE. One of the reps at the other Henry's on Eglinton was sweet enough to actually draw my dumbass a map to this store. Either way, it's definitely worth trekking out there if you're in the mood to get new camera toys but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I've never seen a used camera shop like this in Denver. I think that henrys and me just generally speaking have issues with each other. I got a quote done from the Toronto location(which is closed on Sunday, but all other GTA locations are open...makes sense...!) so I got this location to flip the quote over into an actual order, which when I was dealing with the gentlemen over the phone, he seemed to be very exasperated over the phone over the whole ordeal, which boggled my mind, considering the amount the order was for. I was told that one of the items I requested was not in stock and they would have had to get it transferred from the main warehouse to them, I told them that this was fine, but I needed it by a certain date. the item came in a day early, which was great news, but horrible in comparison to it taking a grand total of three business days for the item to come in(they missed the first transfer truck, and the second transfer truck wasn't until two days later) I swung by, picked up my goodies and was on my marry way, or so I thought. upon coming home and testing out the equipment I purchased, I was to find out that one item was missing the "factory packaging" which I didn't think much of it, until I went to use it and found out the item was defective(learned a lesson here, test it before you leave...) so I went back the following day, to be ignored by a manager/supervisor and ignored by the gentleman who cashed me out...which again, I thought was really weird considering how much money I spent at this location, after about 20 minutes of waiting for someone to help me, I was finally taken care of, the piece of equipment was swapped out, with a little paper work. I'm happy with my equipment that I got, but the process, and general service I received, really grinds me to the bone. this location has ample parking, but it is very tight parking in regards to a larger vehicle, and you can smack into curbs or into the columns that are protecting the store, an ok location, close to the highways, not a lot of stock as it is the outlet location. read more

Find someplace better if you want honesty When into this Henry's location and was inquiring about an open box phantom three professional. The salesperson told me it was just an open box and everything was the same as the current one. I asked specifically the question is it the newer one with the newer motors in the new remote control and I was assured it was. When I got home and checked the box many of the pieces were missing turns out it was not the newer issue was the older one and it took me over 5 1/2 hours to get it to turn on because the difficulty of getting the software update. The next morning I called the store and asked for my money back because the sales person was not truthful on the product that he was selling, offered me a store credit which I felt was inadequate considering they were not truthful on my purchase in the first place. I was stupid and thinking they would be honest and upfront after they and been dishonest and believed they would honour their word lol I told them that I would rather have my money back then deal with the company that was not truthful and what they were selling, they offered me $100 off a new one and told me I would be entitled to any promotions that came available till the end of the Dec, the next promotion was a free backpack when called about getting the free backpack I was told they were not participating ( funny that the Ancaster store would give me the back pack if I purchased it from them) the kick was finding out in their Boxing Day sale they were giving them away as door crashers when DJI was giving them for free and a customer that had spent over 1600.00 they blew off I was given $100 off a brand-new phantom three but never got the free backpack . I put in a request to the websites on this and I received no reply. I definitely would not recommend Henry's for any of your photographic needs there are many other camera stores online and retail that would be gladly service their customers in an honest way. I like that you can find open boxed buyers remorse items here. A lot of returns end up here for camera bodies that were simply buyers remorse. Better price, same new camera. The store has been cleaned up and looks a lot nicer than it used too. Sometimes you wait a bit when it's busy but the service is great from my experiences there. read more

Lawrence was a WONDERFUL help to my boyfriend and I. We were picking out our first camera to enhance our blogging experience. Not only did Lawrence walk me through all the pros and cons of each camera I had in mind. He stood there as I took photos of him, changed the settings, and really got a feel for the camera. I would highly recommend buying your first camera there, and try to talk to Lawrence if you can. He was SO patient. I am a perfectionist but a complete NEWBIE at cameras... so I can imagine I was not the easiest to deal with. But he kept up and really listened to what I was looking to do with my blog/vlog to give me the best option. Thank you for ALL your help... I will be back for accessories once I am done in Hawaii. Bought a Used Sony Cybershop Hx80 at a really great price! The service here at Henry's Mississauga Dundas is exceptional. ANDREW HANNEN, in particular, was very helpful when there was a problem with my online purchase. He was patient and walked me through what may have happened, and I was able to figure out what I needed to do to resolve the issue (which I did!!) Mechandising of the store was horrible, but it is were open boxes and the dregs of the Henry Chain go to be liquidated. But This review relates to service. I have been her numerous times and this time with poor service I had to write, as I stood there in store there were 3 staff members, One fellow was servicing someone on the phone.The other two sat there on computers, they did not great any customers, they did not acknowledge anyone to advise them " I will be with you in a moment " etc... During this time 4 customers walked out and left. One fellow said hi to me and I brought my items over. He then proceeded to continue on the computer, no " What can I help you with? etc.." Another 2 people left the store. He finally cam over to me and said" I said Hi to you?!" I mentioned he was not he computer and didn't continue to help me other 4 people that left. He shrugged!!!! This guys is always like this. Another time at the Missasuaga location, they had a camera boxed on the shelf, not on display, whens asked to see a demo the said I could hold the box.... if it was so moronic it would be funny. Henry's can't you could train better??!?!? Needless to say the basics of customers service is missing here. Don't get me started on Vistek that is a worse horror story of the frustrated photographers having to seek cameras , Hence why most people are turning away from the Brick and Morter store. Don't bother, order online, you deserve better! read more

The staffs are nice and know their stuff. I brought an open box Fujifilm X100 with 3 year free warranty from them. However, the same evening I noticed some parts were missing and went to the store next day. The sale rep call Fernando was very helpful and got me all the missing parts. Compared with the pseudo flagship store on Church st. This one is much much better IMO. I've going there for almost three years when there were located on Queen street. The service is prompt and much more friendly. As a matter of fact, I have done all my purchases within 10 mins with no hassle of any sort. The price is good but not great. Many of the used/open box items are actually priced higher than the new ones @ Aden. But from time to time, they have those "crazy" sales. Bought my used Nikon D200 for 500 in 2009 just after d300 was unveiled(I meant D200 possibly still worth 500 dollars more or less right now). Also got the OB Fujifilm F70EXR for 150 back in 2009 when futureshop/bestbuy were selling it around 280. Most recently, acquired Olympus E-P1 with 14-42 for 300. Those are just some of the fantastic deals I got from Henrys Outlet. Not your everyday camera store when you want the latest and greatest, but definitely worth checking out if you want get a deal on the used/OB stuffs. P.S. They have old film gears which is a plus for me. Bought a Canon lens for 10 bucks. For that price, I wont even hesitate a sec when I want to use it as a weapon. As for the BFA theory, not entirely true, there is a strip club across the road. I meant they got a strip club there. Who would open a strip club in the middle of nowhere. : ) read more
