Love this place! This was our first time here and we will for sure come back. Great food, amazing service, and clean facilities. A great place to sit down and have a quick meal that tastes great. I had the Ruben sandwich and fries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bathrooms were clean and the hand soap smelled wonderful. Ive tried this place 3 times now with mixed reviews. The first time was ok, the restaurant is clean, ok service, ok food, nothing special. 2nd time was about same as the first but they served me burnt bacon. The service was better. Then tried it for the third and last time. The service was poor. Our drink remained empty the whole meal. I didnt appreciate being served our meal and bill at the same time. Never seen the waitress again. Food was edible. Just another mediocre place for breakfast. read more

Stopped in for breakfast before heading back home. Arrived Sunday morning at 8:30 am, there was plenty of seating. Waitresses were SUPER nice and attentive. Got some coffee immediately and placed our order. I got the breakfast burrito and it was huge and really delicious. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Went here on Memorial Day weekend, his place was amazing, I had the country fried chicken steak... Might I say I am very picky with that. And that was amazing!! Probably one of the best I have ever had, it included a side of hash browns, eggs and toast all very fresh!! It was very busy in there and we had to wait about 15 minutes but I would have to say it was worth the wait. The only down fall I saw was seating was not the best, and it's kind of a tiny place. But what do you expect its normally the whole in the wall places that have the best food and best customer service!! Regardless I'm giving them a 5 star because customer service was superb!!! And the food was just delish!! Next time I am in tehach I will be stopping here again! I highly recommend this place to those who are breakfast eaters, and it's got a slightly southern feel to it too, lovely!! read more

We were in town to drop the kid off to Woodward west. Stopped in for breakfast and were greeted by a very friendly staff. The place is clean and smells like killer food is cookin. It has a country feel like when we go to Tahoe. Service was friendly and prompt. Never had to ask for a coffee touch up. They were on it. I had the 4x4 with the whole grain pancakes. I would go back just for those. Sooo good. Could have hit the table sooner but they were still warm. My wife says I have a problem with have HOT pancakes. But still super flavorful with great texture. The kid had the BLT and loved it and he liked the fries to of course. I forget what the wife had but she did Finnish it and liked it as well. We stopped there for breakfast before leaving to the airport. Nice atmosphere & friendly people. We were seated right away. It was a while before someone stopped over & then we were noticed. I decided I better tell our waitress that we were on our way to the airport, just to be safe. Our waitress was very professional and her timing was excellent after that - never stopping to interrupt (which we appreciate; we like our time together). The food came out promptly and it was ALL very good. We knew it would be! We just had a good feeling about this place every time we drove by. Everything was cooked to order and perfect. I have been coming here for years now and I have never been to a more friendly place! All the servers are always so sweet and they are constantly refilling your coffee for you (a huge plus in my book!) and checking on you! The prices are very reasonable and they have a good variety of food on their menu. The place is small so it is usually pretty crowded but we always get seated fairly quickly still. read more

This place was amazing!!! My girlfriend and I were stuck in Tehachapi due to the snowstorm the day after Christmas. The freeways were all shut down, and after spending most of the day stuck in my car, I'm so thankful we found such a delicious place to eat breakfast! The food was great, and the service was awesome. Awesome as always! I love that you can order a half of an omelette and they give you half hash browns and one piece of toast instead of two. I always sub out hash browns for tomatoes purely for health reasons but all the food is delicious! read more

Everytime we are passing by Tehachapi we stop at Henry's. Great breakfast! Do yourself a favor and skip the chains along the hwy and visit Henry's. They are only opened for breakfast and lunch so arrive before 2:00. read more

This is the place to go, for breakfast. The menu is pretty sizable for such a small place. They only do breakfast, so they have to be great. My wife and I are always full, when we leave here. The lure of awesome biscuits led me here...and they more than live up to their local lore. BIG, fluffy, and fresh from the oven! I had to quit eating my omelette of green chile, tomato, jack cheese and salsa (delicious!) just to save room for part of that biscuit. Service is warm friendly and the cafe has home town feel. I had biscuits n gravy with eggs, sausage and bacon.....it was YUMMY! Coffee was great to! Service was unlike I have seen....my server, she was so nice. I can't wait to come back. this will by my regular spot when I come here twice a month for business.
