We had four drinks between the two of us and they were all tasty. I especially enjoyed the frozen watermelon drink, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. The double smashed burger available during the Monday special was ridiculously good. The bun was soft and buttery. The beef was juicy, well seasoned and tender. There was a perfect amount of sauce and the burger came together nicely. The Winston is a wonder place in Norman and I would certainly return and recommend.

I finally asked the waitress, who was in the process of ignoring me some by just walking by, how I could order a sandwich. She said to have a seat and I told i just wanted something to go. She walked off and assisted the two people who came in AFTER me. I walked out and went across the street to Rosa Mezcal, where i was provided extremely prompt and polite service. Don't know if I'll ever go back. EDIT TO ADD June 15, 2026: My experience here as per above was apparently as an isolated occurrence, and I'm glad I went back per the invite from the Owner. BEST sandwich (BW Italian) that was fresh tasting and packed with meat and produce, coupled with the BEST potato salad ever. And don't even get me started on the Rocky Road Cookie.... I would now give Bison Witches FIVE STARS and will definitely return. Thank you Daxon for making this right :)

Got the Sweet Oklahoma and have to say it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The cream cheese and sweet jalapeño relish gave it a great flavor and were not spicy. Also had onion rings and while I like a good amount of salt in the breading I will say the salt in these bordered on being overpowering. Maybe back off a hair. The wife got a Theta and enjoyed it. One of my girls tried the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese and was pleasantly surprised (I also tried a bite of it and thought it was good). The other girl just had chips and queso and said they were solid. Both girls also had Garlic Parm Fries and liked them. We will definitely add this place back to a regular option for burgers.

Our service and meal were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name, but she took care of our group of about 12 in the back room and was on top of everything all night. She was so kind, patient, and willing to repeat things when needed, which is huge when you have that many people trying to get attention at once. She even thanked us for coming in, which was such a sweet touch. The food was amazing. She accidentally brought out an extra side of squash puppies and let us keep them, so I tried them even though I hadn't ordered them. Let me tell you, you HAVE to order them. They were absolutely divine, and the butter and jam they come with are incredible. I started with a salad, which was also very good, and then ordered the chicken bruschetta based on our server's recommendation. The Brussels sprouts were insane, so flavorful and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The bruschetta was delicious too, and I ended up eating almost all of it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Pub W to anyone. The back room was the perfect spot for our large group and had such a fun, relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back the next time work brings us to Norman!

Being in town and having a smaller footprint, they do a good job on a varied menu. People complaining regarding the bread/rolls, these are very close to what you experience overseas. If you want more authentic fare and a greatly expanded menu, go to Royal Bavaria. However, if you are in town and are curious, Das Bootcamp will offer you an excellent introduction to German/Austrian cuisine.
