Someone talked about underrepresentation which i agree with, but has nothing to do with race or origin. I feel severely under represented as a student, but this is because there's a group of popular kids with white and mexican kids that dominate this, which is not related to race. I also saw the review talking about the two administration peoples,and i agree to a WAY lesser extent: They may have been incompetent, but in now way did they severely affect the savio environment in such a way. I truly know one of the people they're taking about and they tried their best, even if students didn't feel it worked. About what's actually "toxic", are the students themselves. The teachers enable the popular kids and their spoiled entitlement and lack of spiritual education in which these kids blatantly gossip and disrespect other nice teachers. They shun those who are themselves and like joking around when they very well do the same. About savio's work load, it's very difficult, especially junior year, but after all no one is forcing us to pay to o there every year, it's college preparatory after all. I do agree that savio underpays their staff, but they're not exactly government funded, when staff sign up, they know their salary. Lastly, for my real opinion on Savio: It's not very catholic, and lacks a spiritual aspect. Go to a cheaper catholic school like San Juan Diego and find a more friendly student environment.

We were one of the families involved in the incidents, and the school refused to respond to multiple emails from us and the other families trying to obtain information (despite being promised we would all be kept up-to-date regarding camera footage and employee response). They even tried to have this review removed. We also believe they are sugar-coating, minimizing, and even omitting information completely when communicating with the families that remain at the school. It's clear to us that they are more concerned with covering up their mistakes and lack of action than actually protecting children in their care. Not only that but the head of school lied directly to another parent who inquired what was going on at the school. I had already reported it to the school that my daughter was assaulted by this male teacher and happened to be in contact with the other Mom, which is how we knew they lied. They sent out a very misleading email with no specifics to a select group of parents letting them know that a teacher would be let go due to "misjudgment". However, I don't consider the touching of a female student inappropriately a misjudgment. Furthermore Endeavor had no intention on bringing this information to the appropriate authorities. It was only after a case was filed by multiple parents that they were cooperative. They would have likely swept this under the carpet. Furthermore, the fact that they allowed male teachers to be alone and without an adult female in the room is beyond irresponsible, this should never be allowed. Please really think twice about sending your child here. There are far better options.

The teachers genuinely care about their students and go above and beyond to ensure they are thriving. Recently, my Pre-K 4 son was having a difficult morning, and his teacher noticed and took the time to ask him about it. He felt comfortable opening up to her, and because of that conversation, we were able to help him have a much better morning the next day. I am so grateful for that kind of genuine love and care for my children! I'm also a Room Mom for my older son's kindergarten class and have loved every minute of it. The PTO provides wonderful resources and support, making involvement easy and enjoyable. Most importantly, I love that Jesus and His love for the children are at the heart of everything they do. It is such a blessing knowing my boys are being pointed to Jesus at school while we disciple them at home. We absolutely love DSA and highly recommend it!

What I was NOT told was that there were no available openings and that our children would be placed on a waiting list. Based on that conversation, my wife submitted three applications and paid $750. After bringing our 5-year-old in for her interview/testing, we were told the school was full. The school says this was explained to me. I was the person who had that conversation, and I strongly dispute that. Had I been told there were no openings, we would never have paid $750. Our refund request was denied. Parents: before paying, get confirmation IN WRITING that an opening actually exists.

All three of my kids enrolled without any knowledge of a foreign language, which was initially a little nerve-wracking. My second grader was placed in a dedicated French as a Second Language support class, and it made a world of difference. Within a year, he had genuinely acquired the language in a way I didn't think was possible so quickly. My two younger ones jumped straight into the regular classroom, and they too have picked up an impressive amount of French in just one year. One of the most memorable surprises was hearing my kids come home and naturally speak French -- something I never expected to happen so soon. But perhaps the most touching milestone? They now ask me to speak French with them during part of our day at home and correct me when I make a mistake. The language has become something they take pride in and genuinely enjoy -- it's no longer just school, it's part of who they are. Academically, my kids are thriving too -- my second grader's MAP scores showed a remarkable jump from where he started before joining the school. Yesterday I called and had an unpleasant conversation with your receptionist who told me that she had no the dates of the exam and can not even tell me when students had DELF earlier this year. She was in a hurry to hang up the phone apparently, because the conversation with a client was something that irritated her a lot. Bizarre school.

I had some issues with policies and procedures but through conversations with supervisors, principles and higher ups helped me understand why things were the way they were. When you look at the alternate, AISD, you can clearly see the pflugerville benefits. I attended a high school that was brand new and looked like a mall, and performed theater in a brand new two story performing arts center. We had money for various activities.. and while no one was really rich on our district, we really epitomized the middle middle class. Although I have heard in past few years some of the schools have gotten rougher, I still stand firm that they are much better choice. Look at the pflugerville school district for small class sizes, mostly decent teachers and strong extra curriculars.

One of the things I love most is that everyone knows my daughter by name and makes her feel welcomed and loved every day. The director, Ms. Brianna, has been wonderful and always goes above and beyond to support both the children and parents. The curriculum is excellent, and I've seen my daughter grow and excel so much during her time here. We have loved all of her teachers, especially Ms. Sonia in the 2-year-old classroom and now Ms. Kierra and Ms. Emily in the 3-year-old classroom. They are patient, nurturing, engaging, and truly care about each child's development and my daughter loves being with them every day. The daycare provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which is such a convenience for parents. They also offer plenty of outdoor playtime and a variety of well-rounded activities that keep the children learning and having fun. The staff was also incredibly helpful during the potty-training process, making it a much smoother transition for both my daughter and our family.
