The teachers are caring, friendly, attentive & engaging for the children. 2. The school is relatively "small" therefore the children get great attention with small class sizes. 3. The curriculum is engaging & fun. My girls are so proud of the projects they do and always come home talking about what they are learning. 4. The staff is supportive and willing to continue learning opportunities we are doing at home (ex. Potty training, etc). 5. The environment is conducive for learning. It's such a sweet space. The kids love it. And both have done fabulous in napping there when applicable (my youngest has recently stopped but was a very light sleeper and never had a problem sleeping at school). 6. The parents care- we have met many families through extracurricular activities and school sponsored ones and they are just a nice group of professionals that care about there kids and care equally about the school. 7. Flexibility: the school has multiple payment options, day attendance options and can work with each family. We have enjoyed convenience. A great place for working families, stay at home parents or any in between. And it is reasonably priced to other far more expensive options we looked into. 8. Great location- very centrally located and close to downtown, central neighborhoods & easy access to Mopac. 9. Year round- extra bonus in my book! The school curriculum is year round therefore you don't have to scrabble for summer camp options. Care is all year. They follow the AISD school closures and vacations for days off. 10. The outdoor space is fun and always expanding! The staff and parents of Stem are always looking to make the outdoor space better! New this year all the colorful place scales in the back and beautiful gardens on the front. The kids love playing outside and they spend a nice amount of time outdoors exploring. A lot. We did all of the tours, but didn't find anything that felt like a true fit with any of the alternative schools that strictly follow one ideology. Waldorf felt too heavy, Sudbury felt too unorganized... We wanted something in between - a small school with aspects of democracy, a solid curriculum, mixed age classrooms, ample time in nature and a strong support system for the social/emotional development of each child. What we've gotten at IOS has been so much more than that. The small class sizes make it easier for the teachers to customize their lessons to each child. There's no "teaching to the middle" here. Communicating with the teachers is easy and enjoyable. The campus is straight-up magical - you have to see it to believe it. There's a creek on the property and acres of woods for the kids to explore. There are chickens, goats, guinea hens, even a donkey, that live on site. Sadly, IOS doesn't accept 35 year old 3rd graders, or I'd be all over it. It's not all about the curriculum or the democratic meetings or the farm animals the kids help care for. It's not all about the gardens they grow, the amazing community of parents and teachers or the social/emotional support given to (and subsequently created by) the kids. It's about all of it. It's about being in the conversation of cultivating human greatness with a group of families and teachers that think outside the box and truly care for every aspect of each child. There's so many reasons that I send my child to IOS, but the main reason is that I know she is Loved, Supported and Celebrated as a human when she's at school. She wakes up happy every morning, ready to get on the bus with her friends and get to school. What a gift!

Thoughts from a CPM graduate: I attended CPM from 1st grade…read morethrough 5th, I will graduate high school in 2026. To say I am grateful I went to Cedar Park Montessori would not be enough, this school impacted me in so many ways, it allowed me to embrace my creativity, ask questions, learn to share and pay attention and ultimately blossom into who I am now! I read once in a book, something along the lines of "If you're taught wrong in elementary school, you'll be trying to catch that train for the rest of your life." Through my experiences at other schools, they teach you very uniform, everyone is learning at the same speed and you are taught that raising your hand just makes the lesson longer, nobody likes a teachers pet or a goody two shoes. Whatever you do... Don't challenge popular beliefs, you are taught to follow the system. CPM is quite literally the opposite, you are encouraged to look at things differently and ask "why?" I used to question "why does this math problem even work?" And at CPM, I was greeted with an actual teacher who wanted me to understand not just pass. It's a smaller more personal learning environment where instead of memorizing you actually learn!!! And its at YOUR pace, not the kids next to you, when you first grasp something it's beautiful and at CPM that feeling was honored by teachers and staff, at CPM the reward isn't it in the candy it's in the understanding. I learned how to love learning at CPM. This is my greatest strong suit; being able to find joy in seeking knowledge. Thats my favorite takeaway. After CPM I went to a public middle school, it was a bit rocky adjusting, not only to the education system but because Montessori kids are so much more emotionally aware. But by having good roots and being taught morals young, I was able to choose my path, I didn't fall into the wrong group, and to this day I've never given into peer pressure, (I know very few teenagers can say that!) and not to toot my own horn, but, im aware that my maturity level is higher than many of my peers because of my early education. I can't thank my parents enough for choosing CPM, truly, one day, I wish to give my child the education and opportunities my parents gave me by enrolling me at Cedar Park Montessori.

There are scheduled parent teacher conferences throughout the year, and a newsletter is sent out reviewing what the class is covering every week. I love the 4 and 5 year old teacher, Ms Liu. She is attentive and caring. My son's Chinese has improved with his daily lessons. He even recognizes several Chinese characters now. Ms. Xu and Ms. Zhao are always smiling in the morning when we drop off our child. The director, Terri, is very patient and responsible. The school is open many of the holidays that other schools are closed, which helps working parents. Overall, I would highly recommend this school.

She was so excited to go to school every day, and it is truly one of the best decisions we have ever made for her. Little Hands is a wonderful place for children. It is always very clean, the teachers are incredibly caring, and the curriculum is very well-designed. They cover so many subjects, including science, arts, math, Chinese, Spanish, English, sports, and the kids are constantly encouraged to be creative. We also love how they celebrate various cultural festivals and teach the children to respect and appreciate cultural differences. Our daughter graduated from Little Hands in the summer of 2023. Although we moved out of state after her graduation, we had the chance to visit Austin in the summer of 2024 due to my work. Ms. Terri welcomed us back and took wonderful care of our daughter for two weeks, just like before. Ms. Terri and her team of teachers are truly the best. They are deeply committed to the development and growth of the children and work hard to prepare them for the future. Little Hands is by far our best daycare and preschool center, and we will always come back to visit when we get the chance.

Manor High is such a GREAT school for so many reasons but for me as a parent of 3 kids w/ 2 of them being twins the thought of college costs can be very scary!! BUT Manor High School has partnered up with the ACC in Elgin to offer a free early college program which my twins are in the first class of the Early College program & through this program students can earn an Associates degree by the time they graduate from high school & let me repeat.. This program is FREE!!! All tests, books, courses, bus rides to Elgin ACC, ect ALL FREE!! And not to mention the support for the students is awesome!! Manor ISD as a whole is really growing & I just love how the schools bring in programs for the students to be a part of & to be more supported. Now I'm not saying Manor High is perfect but I am saying as a parent my experience w/ Manor High School is that I do feel that during the times I did have an issue or concern I was heard, which means so much! As a parent of 16 year old boy/girl twins who are in 11th grade it really helps to know that if I ever need extra support or have concerns about my kids schooling that I can reach out to someone at MHS to get that support! Anyone with teenagers knows that sometimes us parents need ALL the help we can get to make sure our kids stay on the right path & to let them know that they can reach for the stars!! Our girls have grown such a bond with their teachers, especially Mrs. Crystal who teaches early preschool. My 22 month old is in Mrs. Crystal's early preschool class and I was really worried about sending her to school at first. I had Mrs. Crystal with my older daughter and knew my youngest would be in great hands, but I was still worried because she seemed so young. In just a few months in school, my 22mo has learned to walk, talk, count, identify colors/letters, shown interest in potty training, and has been more outgoing! I was so relieved and grateful! My 3yo who is in preschool also has amazing teachers who have taught her so much! There is just too much to even list how much she has learned since being in Primrose for 2 years. Basic facts -they provide morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snacks. You'll see the menu at the front for the entire week. -they provide backpacks, nap cots, blankets. There isn't anything you really need to bring. -they take pictures/videos on most days for you to see what your child is learning. So helpful during the first day! -they do fun school parties on special occasions, monthly parents night out, trunk or treat, summer field day, breakfast with Santa, and even this cool annual spring fling event with rides, bounce houses, food, etc that is so much fun. On top of learning, my daughters just adore their teachers and I know their teachers adore them. Such a great feeling knowing your babies are in such a loving environment.
