The teachers are so loving and kind, and the rotating class schedule kept our super active boy interested and engaged. It gets so hot in the summer in TX, and having a full gym space AND dance studio area inside in which the kids could still play if it was too hot or rainy was a game changer. No longer being cooped up in one class all day. We also had our new baby start there in Oct 2024, and he has absolutely thrived. From the infant teachers to now the toddler teachers, he has so much fun at school. I also love that the class sizes are small, so the teachers can really focus on the kids and they aren't overstimulated. The front desk staff and admin are also so kind, and even make sure to set aside activities or treats for our older two that don't even go there. It's clear to us that they are more concerned with covering up their mistakes and lack of action than actually protecting children in their care. I had already reported it to the school that my daughter was assaulted by this male teacher and happened to be in contact with the other Mom, which is how we knew they lied. They sent out a very misleading email with no specifics to a select group of parents letting them know that a teacher would be let go due to "misjudgment". However, I don't consider the touching of a female student inappropriately a misjudgment. Furthermore Endeavor had no intention on bringing this information to the appropriate authorities. It was only after a case was filed by multiple parents that they were cooperative. They would have likely swept this under the carpet. Furthermore, the fact that they allowed male teachers to be alone and without an adult female in the room is beyond irresponsible, this should never be allowed. Please really think twice about sending your child here. There are far better options.

Our daughter improved so much within a short period of time and it was measurable. We have been super impressed with the teachers and the higher level of academics. Kids at Challenger School are a year or more ahead of their peers who attend highly rated public schools. While the curriculum is excellent, what we love the most about Challenger School is how much our daughter's personality has blossomed. She has become more self-confident and independent. She was super shy and had major separation anxiety issues. Now she engages everyone in conversation, and she happily participates in school performances, speaking and singing in front of a crowd of her peers, teachers and other parents. We are super proud of her progress and achievements! Challenger School is costly, but worth every single penny! However, it may not be for everyone. It is a very structured environment. You won't find any hand-holding or coddling, as they strongly encourage independence and independent thinking. They teach every student about personal responsibility. It is the student's responsibility to make sure their homework is done on a daily basis and brought to the school, and they actually want the students to do their homework on their own. The teachers genuinely care about their students and go above and beyond to ensure they are thriving. Recently, my Pre-K 4 son was having a difficult morning, and his teacher noticed and took the time to ask him about it. He felt comfortable opening up to her, and because of that conversation, we were able to help him have a much better morning the next day. I am so grateful for that kind of genuine love and care for my children! I'm also a Room Mom for my older son's kindergarten class and have loved every minute of it. The PTO provides wonderful resources and support, making involvement easy and enjoyable. Most importantly, I love that Jesus and His love for the children are at the heart of everything they do. After bringing our 5-year-old in for her interview/testing, we were told the school was full. The school says this was explained to me. I was the person who had that conversation, and I strongly dispute that. Had I been told there were no openings, we would never have paid $750. Our refund request was denied. Parents: before paying, get confirmation IN WRITING that an opening actually exists.

This is culture at Brentwood, to work hard and push past personal limitations. They are being prepared for college and life but still are allowed to be kids and have fun. I have my kids here for 3 reasons: 1) the academic expectations are substantially higher than most public schools and many private schools so being taught at levels well beyond the standard will set them up for success in whatever they choose to do, 2) they can participate in any extra-curricular activities they want to be in, 3) it is a Christian school, meaning the moral and ethical standards they are held to are high. The community is great as well which makes it even better for parents and students. Is it perfect? No, but if you want the best for your kids, academically, spiritually and help them grow to be strong minded adults who add to society this is a place for them. Brentwood students compete and win at high levels in state competitions for academics, arts, sports, etc. Tuition is less than many other private schools yet they are still at or near the top in academic ratings and categories. It has been a great investment in our kids.
