They demonstrate genuine care and affection for every child, creating a welcoming atmosphere that puts both kids and parents at ease. The facility itself is well-maintained and equipped with everything children need to thrive. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in keeping the environment clean, safe, and stimulating for the kids. Our kids are genuinely happy at Guidepost. Their smiles and enthusiasm when talking about their teachers and friends are the best indicators of the positive and nurturing environment they enjoy every day. Thank you for all that you do to support our family!

I reported illegal classroom ratios, a hostile work environment for staff, concerns about how a…read moremold issue was managed, and pregnancy discrimination. Less than 24 hours after I reported this, I was informed that a member of the staff had filed an HR complaint against me. 3 days later, a woman named Maddy (SVP if People) was sent to the school for what I believed to be an investigation into the claims I'd made. I created a timeline and prepared all the evidence I had to prove my claims. But she didn't ask me about any of it. She just kicked my family out of school and said we weren't welcomed back. This place used to be great, but there's no checks and balances between the Round Rock campus operations and the higher level organization. The impact of this is that staff have no room for advocacy and have no one to share report illegal or unethical operations to. As of May 2023, the campus was out of their advertised ratios daily, and out of Texas state legal ratios most days. I was paying $2015/month for my daughter to be in the advertised 3:1 Nido classroom. But it was regularly operating at 4:1 or 5:1. At times they were 6:1, though that was rare. Children have been getting hurt at a higher frequency due to low staffing and high turn over, and the campus has hidden these incidents and not reported them to licensing (which they're legally required to do). I'm working with the parents of previously injured children to file reports to Child Protective Services and Licensing. Some of the incidents that occurred while my children attended the school: my 8mo daughter fell and hit her mouth so badly her mouth bled for an entire day - no one saw what happened and it was not reported to licensing. They wouldn't provide my family with the video footage of the fall and apparently didn't bother to review it themselves to see what happened. Another child was found with a piece of glass in their mouth and was rushed to the ER. The school wouldn't write an incident report and then refused to cover the ER expenses. Another child was given a food they're fatally allergic to and began to go into anaphylactic shock. No one realized this child was having a reaction and the child wasn't rushed to the ER until their parent arrived to pick them up for the day. Another child was pushed off a bike so hard that his front tooth was knocked out. The school agreed to pay for dental costs incurred, but refused to write an incident report and never reported this incident to licensing. Another child had a seizure (they're okay, it was later determined to be a febrile seizure, but that was unknown at the time of occurrence), and my understanding from the parents is that no action was taken by the school. They advertise videos in the classrooms for safety, but they won't provide video footage when you request it - this has been my personal experience as well as what other parents of injured children have shared with me. Ultimately, this school isn't worth the cost. If you can afford $2400/month for your infant, or $1800/month for your toddler, take them elsewhere and invest some of the difference in a classroom beautification project or staff appreciation. The teachers here are INCREDIBLE (with exception of two who I'd never trust my children with), but they have little agency and are so overworked and under appreciated that it's hard to overlook how a school charging so much is paying their staff so little and treating them so poorly. I have video and written evidence of almost everything I reported internally that got us kicked out. If you're reading this post and feel you'd like that evidence to verify the legitimacy of this post, you can DM me on FB (Tiffany Fowler Turner) and I'll be happy to provide further info. To anyone considering the Picco Program based in Round Rock, I'd advise against it.

The prior school lacked transparency both by not allowing us to go inside and by not communicating important things like teacher changes, ratio issues, curriculum in the class room and on and on. Primrose is a dream! The owner Jerry is there everyday and is extremely involved in the day to day operations to make sure parents and children are happy. The director Liz always has a smile on her face and willing to help in any way shape or form she can! They aren't the most affordable option in brushy creek but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. they pay their teachers the best so they end up with the best quality out there. They also have a director of curriculum and other operational specific staff. This means the school runs like a well oiled machine. Things I love about this place: 1. My 14 month old son has a young toddler specific safe playscape that they go out to twice daily. He LOVES the outdoors and climbing all over the place with friends! 2. Teachers are qualified and super sweet 3. Friday family memo goes out every week which includes weekly school activities (dress up days, celebrations etc, school calendar) 4. The chef is fantastic and my kids love the food she makes! 5. Low turnover. Director and owner know everyone both parents and kids by first name 6. Daily app explains what food they ate pictures, curriculum etc. 7. my children love going there! My daughter recently started kinder and though we like not having a daycare bill we really miss the insights and pictures and summaries of activities throughout the day. This place is a major gem in brushy creek/round rock! We are so thankful we moved out kids to Primrose!

Since our son has been enrolled, we have noticed a huge difference in his vocabulary. He is so talkative and expressive, and I believe that LHP has had a huge influence on that. It can be stressful to find a childcare provider that you feel comfortable with and trust leaving your child with, I can say that while our son is at LHP, I know he is cared for and learning! We sadly are switching schools because of the commute. If it not for the commute, we would stay for sure. We will miss LHP and thank Reena and her staff for caring for our son so deeply.

It is a smaller school, and therefore you really get to know other parents and teachers. They communicate well, and use an app to send pictures throughout the day! They also offer aftercare program in case you have to work later (my kids don't want to leave aftercare). They have so much fun with learning, and spend ample time outside in the beautiful playground and covered, turfed area, oh, and a wonderful garden! I cannot say enough about the teachers and the staff, they are just true angels in earth, and we are so blessed and thankful for them. It has been a beautiful thing that they have gotten to teach two of our children, and we have made some lifelong friendships here.

At first I saw it as normal toddler boy stuff, playing hard in all but it escalated quickly. I came to pick up my son one day, he had a large scratch on his neck. I asked the teacher what happened and she said he fell on the rocks while at the playground which didn't make sense to me. The next morning I asked the lady up front if she could find out what happened for me and she said she would. When I arrived for pick up that day the lady I asked that morning said she didn't find out what happened then turned to the lady who seemed really confused about what I was asking and asked if she saw what happened (she wasn't even on the playground where it took place) she stuttered and eventually told me that he had done it to himself which I knew wasn't true because my son never did anything like that before. (Still has not to this day) I decided that day to start really taking note of any marks or incidents. He began to refuse school which he used to always be excited for which I thought was odd but people would tell me it's normal. The following week a child attacked my son scratching him all over his face and arms. Nobody seemed to really know what happened, the child was suspended. As soon as the child returned 5 days later he attacked my son again, biting him in the face, I was not notified until his teacher showed up later in the day and once again no one seemed to know what happened and there were conflicting stories. That day I decided we would not be returning in the best interest of my child's safety and mental wellbeing. Be wary of this place. Very sad and disappointed it turned out the way it did.
