Overall you can just tell this company is cutting corners and pocketing too much on tuition without caring for the children. I would happily petition to reform or put them out of business to be replaced with a family business with values for the children.

Our family moved to the US from another country, and her English level was very basic. I was worried about her adaptation without knowing the language. I'm so happy that I found Twin Oak because, over this period, she has quickly become fluent in English, made many friends, and looks forward to coming to school every day. The wonderful people from the school helped my daughter adapt to a new culture so easily. All the teachers, especially Miss Chuti and Miss Alina, have been incredibly kind and friendly to Nika. They really love children, and this is incredibly valuable to me. My heart always swells with happiness when I see my daughter smiling and happy after school. I love the educational program, which includes many topics such as science, math, new vocabulary, creative projects, and physical exercises like bicycling, splash days, and dance. Additionally, I appreciate how they support parents and lift my mood every morning when I drop off my kids. I'm so grateful to the Team! Sofia, mom of Nika

They may be more traditional (no screens, no digital communication), but I actually enjoy that. I don't need photos of her everyday. I can tell she's learning and engaged by the things she tells and shows us at home and how happy she is to see her teachers and friends each day at drop-off. I appreciate that the teachers are spending their time with my child actually teaching and guiding. My daughter knows her numbers, colors, shapes - even a song that names all the planets. She gets exposed to foreign languages (Spanish, French, Japanese, ASL), music, yoga, other cultures and countries, and so much more. There are some older reviews that mention coloring sheets, but we haven't experienced that. One of the teachers who has been there for roughly 2 years is an artist herself and helps the children with a guided (every child makes their version of the same image) or self-expressive (every child creates what they would like) each week. We even have some framed up in our child's room. I highly recommend Twin Oaks.

The teachers are wonderful and caring (most are mothers of children attending the program) and the curriculum is fun and engaging. I always left feeling my kids were going to safe and that they were going to have fun. When I picked them up, this was always the case. He is absolutely in love with Ms. Bonny and Ms. Suzanne (I'm sure he will miss them next year!) and always comes home with new words, phrases, a joyous smile - and ready for nap time :) The facilities are clean and there are lots of activities to keep him occupied (plus a really great playground out back). There are lots of opportunities to get involved if you want - monthly events for kids/parents, lectures from parenting experts, Mother's Day breakfast, etc. but these are also entirely optional. Like many of the parents, we are not part of the church or any religious community but have never felt that this was an issue in any way (as one other reviewer also noted). At the end of the year, we received a beautiful photo album with photos and artwork from throughout the year; it was so touching to know that they had collected these moments/memories with this final project in mind and I think is symbolic of how children and parents are treated here. I know my son is not only well taken care of but also cherished as a little human being and am so grateful for the wonderful staff who make him feel loved. I found the place thanks to Yelp and noticed there are not a lot of recent reviews so here I am - if you're lucky enough to get a spot here, don't hesitate to enroll!

Our child's gross motor skills excelled while at Wholesome. The play learning and lots of outside time gave my child opportunities they wouldn't have had at other preschools/daycare centers to use their body and discover nature in a whole new way. Additionally, I really appreciated not having to prepare lunches and snacks for my child and that there was zero screen time while at school. At times, the school's ideas were so large and grand they were hard to capture, coming across as unorganized. The love and energy put into the school made up for that aspect. We moved on to (public) kindergarten for a more traditional academic education. I'd give Wholesome 4.5 stars if possible. No where is perfect but love and kindness goes a long way when raising children and making the best decision for them. In summary, we loved Wholesome Generation and would highly recommend it overall.

They claim to be Montessori yet don't allow for individuality and zero imaginary/free play ( if you tour the school notice the toys don't include dolls, animals, kitchen set, cars). I was concerned because my 20 month old wasn't adjusting (after a couple of weeks of being at their facility). I approached the administrator, Suma, in regards to this issue and said she'd "observe and speak with her teachers". In sum, in the middle of the front desk she went on and said my 20 month old "is a whiner and loner because she doesn't play with other children" and I should speak to a doctor about it. Anyone who has basic knowledge in developmental milestones should know that children BEGIN to play the together at the age of 2 and it is normal for them to play alone/parallel play. Suma also said that if my daughter doesn't nap we'd have to pick her up, I said that wasn't option because I had to work she responded by saying "well, then you have to make a choice on what's more important to you". When I went to pick up my daughter that day, the teachers confessed that Suma "only watched my daughter play for 2 minutes and ran with it" they were deeply apologetic and told me Suma was wrong. As I was leaving, I saw Suma eavesdropping on our conversation. She clearly runs they place as a dictatorship and labels children without any backing. Even though I had the paid the month in full, I dissnerolled my daughter from this school and placed her in Prodigy. I could not be any happier with my choice! All I can say is RUN! There are much better schools out there that will allow children to be children and treat you and your family with the respect and patience you deserve.

They named themselves as nut- free facility, but they don't accept enrollment of children with multiple food allergies. Mrs. Jodi specifically said my son's condition would create high liability for them and investors wouldn't like that! After this event happened to me, I checked on the DFPS site another complaint that a child was left unsupervised in the bathroom for approximately 2 hours. I wonder how was that even possible and what irresponsibility. Here is the website: https://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child_Care/CCLNET/Source/Provider/ppComplianceHistory.aspx?fid=737009&tab=2 I do not recommend this daycare at all and I appreciate other parents to read this review and really consider not enrolling their child in a place that ignores ADA and its anti-discrimination protection and left children unattended for long periods of time.

We did a lot of research when selecting a school. A lot. We did all of the tours, but didn't find anything that felt like a true fit with any of the alternative schools that strictly follow one ideology. Waldorf felt too heavy, Sudbury felt too unorganized... We wanted something in between - a small school with aspects of democracy, a solid curriculum, mixed age classrooms, ample time in nature and a strong support system for the social/emotional development of each child. What we've gotten at IOS has been so much more than that. The small class sizes make it easier for the teachers to customize their lessons to each child. There's no "teaching to the middle" here. Communicating with the teachers is easy and enjoyable. The campus is straight-up magical - you have to see it to believe it. There's a creek on the property and acres of woods for the kids to explore. There are chickens, goats, guinea hens, even a donkey, that live on site. Sadly, IOS doesn't accept 35 year old 3rd graders, or I'd be all over it. It's not all about the curriculum or the democratic meetings or the farm animals the kids help care for. It's not all about the gardens they grow, the amazing community of parents and teachers or the social/emotional support given to (and subsequently created by) the kids. It's about all of it. It's about being in the conversation of cultivating human greatness with a group of families and teachers that think outside the box and truly care for every aspect of each child. There's so many reasons that I send my child to IOS, but the main reason is that I know she is Loved, Supported and Celebrated as a human when she's at school. She wakes up happy every morning, ready to get on the bus with her friends and get to school. What a gift!

From the moment we enrolled our child, we felt the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care from the entire team. The owners, teachers, and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and it's so clear that every decision they make is rooted in supporting each child's well-being and developmental growth. One of the things that stands out most is their dedication to nurturing children's natural curiosity. They create an environment where exploration and discovery are not just encouraged--they're celebrated. It's amazing to see how engaged the kids are every day, and as a parent, it's such a relief to know your child is in a place that values their individuality and creativity. We have to give a special shoutout to Ms. Yvette and Ms. Melva in the infant class. These two wonderful teachers are truly a gift. Their love, patience, and attentiveness shine through in everything they do. They're also professional task jugglers and should teach a masterclass on how to attend to multiple babies at the same time. For instance, Ms. Yvette is especially impressive with how seamlessly she handles task switching--whether she's feeding one baby or capturing a sweet moment of another, she never misses a beat. Ms. Melva on multiple occasion seamlessly feed multiple babies at the same time. It's remarkable how Ms. Melva and Ms. Yvette are able to juggle so many responsibilities while always staying present and cheerful with the kids. We can tell that this is not just another for-profit daycare/school, and that the owners as well as staff really do enjoy being around children, taking care of them, and supporting their growth and development. It's evident through Ms. Prasanthi and Mr. Ashok and the entire staff's interaction with every child that entered the school door, and it's most apparent through Ms. Prasanthi's ability to remember every child's name in the school as well as greeting them with a warm smile and little details about their lives. In short, we feel so lucky to have found The Goddard School of Pflugerville. It's more than just a daycare--it's a place where children are truly seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive. Highly recommend!
