Had Art Daniels come out to have a look at the concrete disaster at my house. He was prompt,…read morecourteous, and honest. He and his partner took their time to explain their assessment of the problem (original pour of concrete was not dense enough to resist effluorescence in addition to possibly contaminants being excreted by the concrete as well). Talked through several options for repair/reconstruction with a range of costs, and also got a realistic assessment of likelihood of success. Very professional, no sales pitch. After talking with a number of other contractors about the same issue, I was thinking that an epoxy stone overlay may be the most cost effective approach to solving my problem. As I was so impressed with Art, I called him to get his opinion. Even though that particular option wasn't one he could currently offer, he spent the time to talk it over with me, explained the process and some pros/cons, and in the end gave me his overall impression that it probably would be a good choice. A true professional. Even though I'm not going with him for this particular job, will definitely refer my friends and keep him in mind for any future needs.

John is one of the most professional and trustworthy independent contractors I've ever worked with. He is really easy to work with and he goes out of his way to make sure that you are happy with the final product. I recently asked him to change our side gate. All of the gates that we found online were easily over $2000. I asked John if he's able to bring the cost down and he did. He was able to bring the price down by going out of his way and sourcing the parts from different places. If that's not amazing customer service then I don't know what is. I don't usually leave yelp reviews but East Ridge Landscaping has definitely earned it from me. I highly recommend this business.

Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge that although the business is primarily a landscaping company,…read moreJohn provided us full assurance and comfort that he would be able to get the job done within a discussed timeframe and quality assurance, adding that he wanted to dabble with interior work to further build his portfolio. After the completed job, it may take some time before my family is able to recommend interior touch ups to others that may be looking into it. Getting into the scope of work and what was completed, a large part of the job was to repair drywall damage due to water leaks, paint touch ups, and door replacements. The attached pictures are, believe it or not, the "finished" work. Clear lack of attention to detail, and not sure even a secondary (or tertiary) quality check could make the job even appear more polished. In fairness to John, the finished product of landscaping related jobs from other reviews look great! But as far as interior work and aspirations to receive more projects in that scope of work, our house may have just been a stepping stone, but there may be a lot more stones to cross to even pass decent quality work for ourselves and others.
